My first celebrity crush was probably Breann McGregor. At the time, I just thought she was the most beautiful woman in the world.

Are you someone who follows weather events that are severe?
CoryAR replied to Shortie's topic in General Chat
I mainly check the weather app daily on my iPhone to see what the weather will be like in our area. I don't necessarily follow severe weather seeing as we usually get alerts when there is extreme weather in our area. -
I barely watch TV in general. If I watch something it's generally on a streaming service. I do have the U-verse TV app downloaded on my iPhone, but I rarely use it.

Would you say Best Buy has the best computer selection and deals?
CoryAR replied to melanie_marie27's topic in PC
Best Buy has been my go-to for a very long time for tech devices. They often have great sales and they often come with warranties in case anything goes wrong with the devices. My current Google Chromebook was purchased at Best Buy for a rather low price at the time. I now use GeForce NOW to use it for gaming too. -
It seems like I always get paired up with the same maps even though I have a lot of maps downloaded. I must be doing something wrong.

With AAA games coming to iPhone 15 Pro it is already supposed to start getting better. It will be fascinating to see what mobile phones are capable of in the foreseeable future in the gaming department. I want to buy the iPhone 15 Pro to play AAA games and use a controller attached to my phone to play them with. It would be an interesting experience.

Pre-orders are usually too expensive for my taste. I generally wait for a console to be out for a little while and buy it when it goes on sale.

Just realized I already replied to this thread. Sorry about that.

I'd love to try this out, but with no workable console/gaming PC at this time, I'm afraid I can't. I'm a sucker for all of the Modern Warfare Call of Duty games. I've enjoyed them thoroughly. I had all Modern Warfare Call of Duty games on my gaming PC.

Pokemon GO is my favorite free-to-play game on mobile devices. On PC, my favorite free-to-play game would probably be World of Tanks Blitz, which I have also downloaded and played on mobile devices before.

I played Ms. Pacman on my Super Nintendo and one of the hospitals my sister had to go to frequently for heart checkups had an arcade Pacman game where you could use a joystick. I've played it off and on to this day, but no where near the amount of time I spent on it as a kid.

If you could play only one console for the rest of your life.....
CoryAR replied to Smokey's topic in Video Games
I too would have to say PC if that counts. There are unlimited games to play on gaming distribution services such as Steam. You can often find some good deals on PC games and a lot of them are free to play. I'm more computer-oriented than TV-oriented, so that's another reason I would prefer PC. -
It was the Super Nintendo, which I spent hours playing when I was younger. Mostly Donkey Kong, but some other retro games as well.

Since this post I also downloaded War Thunder and re-downloaded Call of Duty since I don't have a working gaming laptop anymore.

Disturbed is also one of my top favorite bands of all time. It looks as if we have similar music taste.

My grandfather used to give us hundreds of dollars as kids for our birthday or Christmas, but one year he gave us socks. Suffice to say, that was a real let down compared to what we usually got. I've received a few films I had no interest in either as gifts before.

Yes, I ran away from home once when I was a kid, but I think I returned before my mother and father even got back from work. I was so mucked up mentally speaking and was going through so many emotions and trauma as a young teenager, I just wanted it to all end and I suppose I thought running away was the best way to go about doing that. I would have been even more miserable if I actually ran away and didn't come back.

I liked some light rock and pop when I was a kid, now I'm more into hard rock and metal. My mother and father especially got me hooked on Christian music for the longest time and I had a few friends who were really into that type of music as well. I liked Linkin Park when I was younger and I still like them today.

I own an iPad, but it's more like my father's instead of mine because I never use it and he uses it often. I thought I was going to play games on it often and use it for steaming services, but I just tend to use my iPhone and Google Chromebook. I guess it was like a present to him since I stopped using it.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 was really good, if I remember correctly. I loved all of the Guardians of the Galaxy films though. They are also pretty funny. X-Men '97 sounds like something I'd be interested in watching considering the X-Men films are my all-time favorite superhero films.

Which is better? Everybody Loves Raymond or Friends?
CoryAR replied to melanie_marie27's topic in Movies & TV
They're both hilarious, but Friends has more depth to it I think being a larger group of people with more interesting story lines. I used to watch both of them frequently when I was younger. They're both classics and funny in their own ways, but Friends just has that magic sparkle that's hard to let go of. -
One of our dogs has a habit of opening doors with a handle. Sometimes she'll open the door from outside to come back inside the house.

I feel this way about my parents, especially about my father who is essentially my best friend. I have never socialized in life with anyone as much as I have my father. I couldn't imagine life without him at this point.

The Pros And Cons Of Owning Certain Animals As Pets
CoryAR replied to killamch89's topic in General Chat
I was going to post some pros and cons about rats, but it appears that's already been done. But, I'd just like to point out that most of society's views of rats are very deceiving. Most people think rats are ugly, mischievous, infectious creatures, but there's a big difference between a rat you find in the sewer and a domesticated rat you buy at a pet store. They are, in fact, very cute, lovable creatures that will sit calmly on your shoulder or the palm of your hand. Certain happenings in society gave rats a bad name, I think, but domesticated rats have made some of the best pets I ever had!
