Do you prefer video gaming first thing when you wake up in the morning, or finding time after school or work in the evening? I always opt of the later as it gives a chance to relax and escape from reality before starting everything again the next day. What about you?

Gamers, what time will you video games until? 11pm, 12am or even 3am? Do you find that time flies while you’re playing and by doing so you lose track of time? Are there any occasions where you’ll pull an all nighter?

I would agree, Minecraft does. I’d only agree if a textiles pack was added to the video game and maybe a realistic mod. This brings it away from the 90 degree angles, square blocks and lack of true colour.

I do know a lot of the call of duty maps off by hearts, especially the zombie ones. This really helps whilst playing as you can strategically find the best position for the best level as they increase. However after some time it can get boring of playing the same map.

There are video games and companies with questionable future. I honestly thought that GTA , as an example would venture out of the United States and maybe relocate to London in the UK for their new 6th version. I would have also liked to see them introduce an official role play server that can be access in the online menu, but this hasn’t occurred yet.

Not while working, but on my lunch or rest brakes, yes. I wouldn’t want to take my attention away from my duties while working but on my rest breaks I will certainly play some mobile games if there isn’t anything else to attend to. It’s a good way to wind down for the rest of the shift

One of the biggest problems with online gaming, which involves playing with other online players is your own FPS/ WiFi speed. If your gaming device or WiFi speed can’t deliver you’ll find a lot of lagging which will delay your reaction time significantly. Unfortunately this can’t be helped in some parts of the world where they don’t have access to modern day technology.

Yes, I am happy with the amount of time I spend video gaming. I wouldn’t want to spend anymore time otherwise it could potentially ruin other needful commitments, by taking over my life with an addiction.

I think everyone will find this problem as soon as they reach adulthood. Working long shifts, then having other commitments leaves very little or no time for hobbies. And the hobby includes video gaming. However it’s important to find time for yourself even if it’s 30 minutes as it allows you to enjoy life

While I am not at school anymore, I can still remember my days at school. We didn’t have an after school gaming club but a lunchtime Minecraft club was arranged. Where you could spend your entire 40 minutes gaming on a local server with the class of like minded people.

The best way to improve your gaming skills is by practising. Practise first, over and over again and if you’re still not getting it, I would recommend looking at tutorials. Sessions on YouTube or even articles can significantly increase your skillset

Let’s face it, you’re only really going to be making virtual friends who you’ll never end up meeting. Most of the time they are half away across the world so finding an appropriate time to play with different time zones can prove challenging. But yes, gaming does create connections.

I’d probably say Mario Kart and Nintendo Wii, both on the Nintendo Wii console many years ago now. Both of the games allowed to play via Split Screen - I’ve got great memories of competing against family members whilst playing. Was a great way to build a better relationship and bond in the family.

I do still play a lot of the old Adobe Flash Games online, like Tetris, Pac-Man and Space Invaders. There’s nothing like taking a trip down memory lane and playing some of the very first video games in the history of gaming. If I could I’d visit an arcade to play but there isn’t one in my area.

I wouldn’t say gaming has taken over my life. It’s more impacted in a positive sense by offering a way of relaxation to life stresses and more importantly an escapism portal. However I always try and keep a fine balance ensuring I have enough time to socialise and be part of the real world.
