  1. Yes, there are. I won’t usually play if I’ve had a long day at work or feel mentally / physically exhausted. Times like this I just feel like hitting the hay and starting a fresh in the morning. There are other circumstances but this is the primary reason as to why
  2. Good question! Easiest way to handle losing is not to let your emotions get in the way. Don’t get discouraged, but take it as a learning curve and an opportunity to do better next time.
  3. I play with a TV monitor. You get a lot better resolution than a gaming monitor and its larger meaning you don’t have to strain your eyes focusing on a small surface area. But, each to their own as both have their benefits
  4. I think what makes me look forward playing with someone is knowing the mutual feeling of having fun. As soon as your gaming buddy forgets this, it’s time to move on. There’s no point gaming if you don’t have fun!
  5. It’s not common practice here. Unless you upgrade to a new phone on the same contract, but even if you do that you’ll be liable to pay the full amount. Usually in instalments and at 0% APR over 24 months for example.
  6. I haven’t tried building a gaming PC. I’ve seen people do it on YouTube and it looks really difficult doing so. I did however when at school build a raspberry pi which just about ran Minecraft 😂 with 1g ram.
  7. The price to replace my phone screen direct from Apple is around £400. But Apple don’t just replace the screen - they also replace the battery on the phone too! So you get a shiny new battery which means your smart device will last a lot longer!
  8. There’s a good possibility that AI could take our jobs from us. I would say it depends on the job - something like cleaning? Yep. A robot performing the duties of a Police Officer - I can’t see that one coming without massive exploits and up roar from the communities.
  9. I read the newspapers. Well, not the physical ones, but digitally online to news providers. That way, it doesn’t cost me anything to get the latest news where I am
  10. I am eyeing up to get the Apple Vision Pro. But I’m trying to save everything I can at the moment, after paying the bills to be able to afford it without putting it on finance with Apple. I do wonder how I’ll look walking around with it on though 😂
  11. I’ve only ever had one battery swell up. When a battery swells up it’s not usually become of overcharging, it’s because of its reaching the end of lifespan. So any battery, even those in cars can only be charged so many times before it has to be replaced!
  12. I use CCTV cameras, tracking devices and video doorbells. All of this helps me keep my property safe even when I’m not at home. But you can’t rely on technology fully to secure your home.
  13. I still own DVD players, and old Nokia phones. I think my late family relatives have record players but that’s going before my time on earth. But I think records and discs are starting to come back into fashion now, so I hear.
  14. I’ve never used it. Instead, I’ve downloaded an App called TextMe where you can rent a number and call over VoIP which is very much similar to WhatsApp. This means you require an internet connection to make a phone call - not a cellular signal.
  15. I recycle a lot of cardboard from EBikes I have delivered as part of video reviews I do on my YouTube channel. I try and be eco friendly by separating my recycling from the rubbish on a regular basis.
  16. I’m fluent in English and was born in Britain. A few things annoy me - there’s many types - American, Australian, British, Canadian for example. Even though they may understand you some words may be completely foreign to English counterparts.
  17. The very first thing I did was visit McDonalds. I had a Sausage Egg McMuffin, Hash Brown and Orange Juice. Pretty much set me up for the today, with some added coffees late morning.
  18. I don’t have a library at home. I know this sounds stupid but I’ll go to the library for that. I do however have a book collection on Amazon that I read. It’s easier storing digital books as at least then you can remember where they all are.
  19. I’m not scared of thunder storms unless they are really close and loud. I usually sleep through them - I’m quite a deep sleeper! It takes a lot for something to wake me.
  20. Hog overtaking lanes. Like seriously, if there’s no one in the normal driving lane and they are sitting on the outside lane, it’s just inconsiderate and selfish. This then means nobody can overtake him!
  21. Sleeping. Nearly 3am but found myself posting on forums and social media instead. Will head off to bed for some sleep in the next hour (hopefully!)
  22. Yes, all the time! I generally get annoyed when I’ve made a mistake. But the most important part of this? It’s that I learn from what happened, this is why being annoyed at myself does help.
  23. I would definitely highlight seeing Sandbanks. Sandbanks is one of the most richest areas to live in the world. I’ve attached some photos of the houses and scenery below.
  24. I can remember playing Football, Man Hunt (it, but with hiding), Rugby, and a few other sports there and then. To be completely honest I wasn’t that much into sports when I was a kid. I just found there was too much competition between students.
  25. Hey everyone? Just to make you aware that I am now back and starting to become an active member of the VGR community. For those that don’t know me, my name is Alex and I’m from the UK.
