  1. How much time should children be allowed to play video games? Does age or maturity factor in how much should be allowed? Can this ultimately lead to an addiction and distract children from passing their exams during school or college? Let us know below, what you feel the ideal amount of time should be.
  2. The most that I've ever spent on a video game, was on my Nintendo Wii console. The video game in question was Skylanders. With the portal and three characters, it came to £50.00 and for every additional character it was £10.00. The problem was to unlock the next chapter, you needed a new character so this is the way the company was making loads of money.
  3. Play Slither.io and Agar.io. I know there are a few other .io video games websites but some of them require Adobe Flash and Flash is no longer supported. The one's that do work are either covered in excessive advertising, or have malware on their website. So you have to be really careful and do your research regarding which .io title is right for you. Reading this topic, there are some great suggestions which I may try shortly.
  4. Started playing Minecraft in my teenage years at school with some friends. We had a minecraft club. As the years go on, it became boring to play but just like any game it's nice to revisit once in a while but the problem is you know what to expect as you've tried literally everything. Wonder if they'll release a completely new revamped Minecraft version. Maybe one for kids called KidsCraft, and one for Adults called AdultsCraft?
  5. Epic Games release freebies once in a while. It's the companies way of trying to entice customers to purchase other games, but if you are savvy you can only get the freebies that Epic are offering. They offered the PC version of GTA a few years back, that was a steal. Shame my computer couldn't smoothly handle the graphics.
  6. Remember a few times in GTA I got the "Dunce Hat" and got locked inside the Dunce Hat Group, where you get placed if you explode too many registered cars. That group is crazy with normal people to hackers constantly blowing you up. One man/ girl for him or herself. I think there was 365 days left, as it wasn't my first offence lol. Would be interesting to login to my gaming account now and check this.
  7. What do you know, you learn something everyday. I know South Korea and a few other countries have very limited internet access, which nowadays heavily restricts the ability to play online with others. In these places, I'm sure they would have the dark or deep web to access or bypass government restrictions.
  8. One video game that I've played, that has time travel is Elder Scrolls; Skyrim. Once you've unlocked a few maps, it will allow you to "time travel" rather than walk to your location. Good feature, but can defeat the principle of the game. Wonder if we will ever have time travel in real life.
  9. Two driving games I've played are Forza, and Grand Theft Auto Five. While GTA amongst it's various releases, focuses on Grand Theft Auto and committing crimes, it does have an element of driving within. However, Forza is more focused on the competitive racing and "speed".
  10. My favorite's call of duty map? Black Ops. Nuketown was a classic, I loved the bus in the middle and the houses. Houses were great for camping and shooting enemies running into your fire/ explosives. Would love to see a ultra realistic modern version be made and released by the company.
  11. Problem with AI is that video game developers will no longer have jobs. That means, all of the students who took out loans for college and university to study video game development have wasted 10,000's of dollars, when AI can write the code for you now. I think this would also bring the price of video games in the industry down as after the first release it's like the domino effect.
  12. Never played Rocket League. I've watched a few friends play it, seems an interesting concept with breathtaking graphics but seems like one of those titles where you need to have a lot of practice and good reaction time. Might revisit in the future.
  13. I'm not into Fortnite Skins. My opinion? Well, they are a waste of money. What difference does it make, to how your skin looks while playing besides from peer pressure to having the latest? It doesn't effect any of the gameplay or features while playing.
  14. I have played Call of Duty on mobile before, but I find it eats a lot of battery. Makes the battery and phone overheat, and when a iPhone overheats, it will lock you out and tell you to allow your device to cool down. Apart from that, it's a good video game to play on the right device. Make sure you carry a powerbank!
  15. Some gaming companies will actually provide their video games for free, like Epic Games (Fortnite), but put a ton of Micro Transactions to make their profit. They count on the average person getting addicted to purchasing micro transactions, and not the smart player who just utilizes the service for free. If everyone was to do the later, it would cause a lot of pressure on the servers.
  16. Whenever GTA 6 decides to be released by Rockstar, this is something I'm looking forward to. If I stand corrected, Rockstar released GTA 5 in 2012, so with over 10 years since the last release and many new generations of consoles, seeing a revamped version would be nice. I'd love to have a different location rather than America this time around on version six, or have the ability to toggle between the two.
  17. Same as Shortie, last video game I played was Fortnite. I will have to add your Epic Games Account to my friends list sometime @Shortie. I think my level is drastically lower than yours, at around 80. Hoping to get to 100, let alone level 200! Keep up the good work and competitive gameplay.
  18. As the others have said, I would love to see a VGR channel on YouTube where Dan does video game reviews, or even video game sponsorships where advertisers will send freebies for tutorials/reviews/marketing. However, so far my experience on VGR has been outstanding. Great to have a community for like minded people.
  19. That's a great list of video games! I do enjoy playing Minecraft, and Skyrim solo as both unlock my problem solving skillset and imagination whilst playing. I do get a buzz when achieving or completing something I've been meaning to complete, so that contributes to why I play solo games.
  20. Since Zero Build Mode was released, my preference is playing on Zero Build. Why? There are too many younger kids aspiring to be the worlds best builder on Battle Royale, making it nearly impossible for the newer players to even get one kill. It also isn't realistic for a Battle Royale, to have excessive building ability, in my view.
  21. Hardly ever do I play creative mode on Fortnite. The biggest problem with creative mode is that there is no element of competition, and for me my imagination doesn't run as far unlike my teenage years. I think the creative mode is ideal for younger people who want to explore their imagination and build amazing creations for the community.
