  1. BTW, Chrono Trigger was in the news this week, with a remake being teased.... https://www.msn.com/en-us/entertainment/other/chrono-trigger-director-asks-what-fans-would-want-in-a-remake/ar-BB1jjHrq A Chrono Trigger revamp in the same vein as what Square has done with FF7 Remake/Rebirth would be freaking amazing!
  2. Stellar Blade and Death Stranding 2 look like they are going to be great games! I am currently playing FF7 Rebirth. It's AMAZING!
  3. I will say that the game I am currently playing, the music is a tad loud, and it's hard to hear the dialogue. I'm gonna dive into the audio settings and see if I can't turn up the voices or turn down the score.
  4. I've heard that Microsoft Flight Simulator is actually used for training in classes. I don't know if it's true, but my school did have educational video games to play in class.
  5. I love a game with an epic music score/soundtrack. Music doesn't necessarily make or break a game, but it can sure enhance the experience.
  6. I will binge game when I am sick with covid or the flu, since you can't go out and do anything, and you usually don't feel like doing anything anyway, lol. The last time I was sick I woke up at 10am and binged the same game till almost midnight.
  7. YouTube is all I can think of. With enough views, the ads can generate a decent income. If you go live and your fan base sends you super chats you can rake in some money real fast as well.
  8. ARTICLE SOURCE: https://www.freep.com/story/entertainment/media/2024/01/29/video-game-releases-february-2024/72327223007/ Are any of these on your bucket list, lol? While "Final Fantasy 7" may be the most anticipated game, it's far from the only one people are excited about. The February lineup is looking pretty promising: Feb.1: "Granblue Fantasy: Relink" - PS5, PS4, PC Feb. 2: "Persona 3 Reload" - PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PC "Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice Leage" - PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PC Feb. 8: "Helldivers 2" - PS5, PC Feb. 13: "Ultros" - PS5, PS4, PC "Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden" - PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PC Feb. 14: "Solium Infernum" - PC "Tomb Raider 1-3 Remastered" - PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Switch, PC Feb. 16: "Skull and Bones" - PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PC "Mario vs. Donkey Kong" - Switch Feb. 22: "Sons of the Forest" - PC "King Arthur: Knight's Tale" - PS5, Xbox Series X/S "Pacific Drive" - PS5, PC "Nightingale" - PC Feb. 28: "Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons Remake" - PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PC Feb. 29: "Final Fantasy 7" - PS5
  9. I've been buying digitally for a while now, but I would like to get back into CDs. My son is big on collecting vinyl. I can't believe records made a comeback. The art they are able to put on the records themselves these days is pretty sweet. Back in the day it was just black with a label in the middle.
  10. Depends on how comfortable it is. I don't imagine I would want to wear one all the time.
  11. I downloaded Unreal Engine and was going to learn it, but it was intimidating - plus I don't really have the time to dedicated to it. When my regular business is slow I get bored and come up with creative ideas that don't always pan out, lol.
  12. No, but I should. I ask for ratings and reviews for my business, so I know that they can be important. I need to make a better effort to leave ratings and reviews for others and their products too.
  13. Article Source: https://www.krqe.com/reviews/br/toys-games-br/video-games-br/video-games-that-were-transformed-into-shows-or-movies/ According the the article, they are... Mortal Kombat Monster Hunter Halo Resident Evil Zelda Pokemon Sonic The Last of Us Uncharted Super Mario Assassins Creed Gran Turismo Five Nights at Freddy's I never knew there was a Zelda show in the 80's, and I was an 80's kid too.
  14. Microsoft Cuts 1,900 Jobs in Its Video Game Division The reductions come three months after the tech giant completed its $69 billion acquisition of Activision Blizzard. Microsoft said Thursday that it would eliminate 1,900 roles in its video game division, including at Activision Blizzard, which it acquired for $69 billion three months ago. The job cuts will be made at the video game giant Activision, the maker of hit games like Call of Duty and Guitar Hero, as well as Xbox, according to a staff memo from Phil Spencer, the head of Microsoft Gaming, that was obtained by The New York Times. The cuts amount to a reduction of nearly 9 percent of Microsoft’s 22,000-person video game team. “Looking ahead, we’ll continue to invest in areas that will grow our business and support our strategy of bringing more games to more players around the world,” Mr. Spencer said in the memo. Microsoft, which is neck-and-neck with Apple as the world’s largest public company, completed its acquisition of Activision Blizzard in October after a year of regulatory hurdles. The head of Activision Blizzard, Mike Ybarra, also announced on the social media platform X that Thursday would be his last day at the company. “Having already spent 20+ years at Microsoft and with the acquisition of Activision Blizzard behind us, it’s time for me to (once again) become Blizzard’s biggest fan from the outside,” Mr. Ybarra wrote. Microsoft did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
  15. I think Godzilla Minus One is still in theatres so I don't imagine it's available for streaming yet. But it has been out for a while so it shouldn't be too much longer. You're gonna love it. The American made Godzilla and Godzilla/Kong movies have been done well too. But this one hits those nostalgic feels because it's made by Toho and the Japanese Godzilla is modeled different than the U.S. Godzilla.
  16. What was the Number 1 game of the year when you graduated? This list goes all the way back to 1971, before Pong. Did you imagine a video game before Pong? I didn't, lol. https://www.gamesville.com/game-release/ I graduated in 1994 and it was Final Fantasy 6 (called FF 3 here in the USA) and I agree it was one of my favorite games ever.
  17. More polarized. Back in the day, there may have been that one friends dad who was a bit crazy about politics, always watching the talking heads on TV. After listening to him ramble for a bit, you just moved on and played with your friends and thought to yourself "thank god that guy doesn't have a platform to broadcast his voice on". Today, thanks to social media, everyone has a platform and everyone is trying to make their voice heard, including many people who should keep silent.
  18. Don't laugh, but it was.... . . . . Milli Vanilli 😄
  19. I pay the monthly fee for Adobe Creative Cloud suite, so I use Adobe Premier.
  20. I have a biphasic sleep pattern. I will fall asleep in my LazyBoy recliner with the footrest up and laid all the way back, at about 11pm. I will wake up at 2am or 3am and let the dog out, maybe shower, and then go to my real bed, a comfy waterbed, and continue sleeping until about 8am.
  21. Eventually the operating systems make advancements and the old games are no longer compatible because they need upgrading. I am still clutching onto some old APK's (like Flappy Bird), mostly for sentimental value. But I expect one day they won't run on modern devices anymore.
  22. Nintendo is innovative. They will come up with something that none of us saw coming.
