I would personally say that framerate is only really important in competitive games. In single player games it doesn't really matter as much as you can probably compensate for the low framerate somehow. But in competitive gaming you need the game to feed you information as fast as possible.

Depends on the console. Personally I prefer buying consoles second hand near the end of their lifespan, so often I end up getting them pretty cheap.

You do realize there are more games than the SNES game?

That is so weird to me... pretty much all Nintendo players I know of have played at least one of the games. Especially among my friends. So I was always under the impression they were really popular.

You should check out the GRID games.

Only the first one. It's a fairly decent open world game.

Really? Star Fox 64 is held in fairly high regard from what I'm aware of and the original is known as one of the most impressive games on the SNES. I was always under the impression it was a pretty popular franchise.

Star Fox Adventures I consider pretty underrated although it's less of a sequel and more of a spinoff game imo.

The Borderlands series are high up for me. Also a huge fan of TMNT IV on SNES.
