Dataminers allege that Escape Factory, the new game from the developer behind The Day Before, Fntastic, is making some of the same mistakes as its predecessor, including asset flipping. This follows Fntastic's attempt to convince gamers that it and Escape Factory deserve a second chance after the disastrous launch and subsequent removal of The Day Before. The Day Before launched less than a year ago, but its age is practically irrelevant, as the game was pulled from sale within four days and its servers shut down within a month. Initially, it was believed that Fntastic was completely shut down following the disastrous launch, but it seems that the studio has been working on a new title in Escape Factory. However, the developer's hope for winning back gamers may not be going as planned. Escape Factory was revealed on September 27 with a brief trailer, demo, and a crowdfunding campaign. Data miners have since dug into the demo, and aren't happy with what they've found. Twitter user bsimser shared a lengthy thread on the official Steam forums revealing their findings of asset flipping and free code being implemented in the demo. According to bsimser, the code used for the game's networking, lobby, and matchmaking is taken from a free Unity demo code that can be downloaded from Github and is intended to be used for learning to create multiplayer games, not actual launch products.

I actually think this is one of the more interesting applications of AI to video games! It doesn't affect the main storyline, but it can bring a richer experience as you go on side quests or build relationships with NPC's A Starview Valley modder who goes by DualityOfSoul created a mod that uses OpenAI's ChatGPT API to expand many of the game's NPC conversational trees. Usually, players can only speak to NPCs a few times per day, but Duality's "AI Valley" on Nexus Mods gives computer-controlled characters enough voice to carry on long free-form conversations. Another modder, Tylermaister, developed a Skyrim mod using the same API to create a follower that can coherently converse on just about any game-related content. The follower, Herika, has at least a rudimentary understanding of the map. So, if the player asks her where Riften is, she can describe the hold's location.

If the information is leaked out for a game that I love, I wouldn't mind at least reading about it - because I know when I join a lobby, there might be others who are using the exploit.

Ha, this just reminded me of the streamer xQC who streamed himself rage quitting from Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero xQc isn’t exactly known for playing fighting games, but Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero has been part of his rotation as of late ever since it released. One of his clips made it to the Sparking! Zero subreddit where other players watched him go off on people who were using “cheese” to win fights.

If your personal value system is to prioritize your faith, then it would make sense this would be one of your biggest deciding factors. There are so many complicated things that go into a marriage, and if you can find someone special who shares the same values - whether that's money, family, faith - you're blessed.

I've been watching this game for awhile, and it looks to be an amazing refresh of classic RTS elements such as base building, resource management, tactical combat, and multiple eras of human civilization. It looks to be a nice throwback to classic RTS!

I loved the lazy afternoons in college when I was doing co-op raids with my college friends; it was just the sheer joy of doing something stupid and everybody laughing. I definitely think games that were close were so much more fun; when it was a stomp, it wasn't as fun.

A lot of it depends on the emotional maturity of the person. I kno wwhen I was 18, I was still a hot mess and NOT ready to move out on my own in any way, and even though I knew the basics of living independently such as cooking, cleaning, washing, I just wasn't ready for it. So I don't think it's an age as much as a mindset.

It would depend on the skills of those online jobs / freelancer jobs. Are they relevant, high-skilled jobs?

One of my biggest turn-offs is when a friend totally ghosts you. This just happened to me over the weekend where I was planning a girl's outing with a few friends, and even though I'm close with a cousin, she has a habit of going totally hot / cold. When she goes cold, she totally ghosts you, never returns calls or messages, and she didn't show up to a fancy dinner out where I had to make reservations

I know this news is a couple of years ago, but it's a good reminder to always be vigiliant when walking around. We're all trespassers on Mother Nature, and all of her creatures can be anywhere

I absolutely adored the latest Lego Batman movie, it was so cute and fun! One thing that I liked about it is that it didn't try to be the moody and dark version of past Batman movies, they had inside jokes and made fun of themselves - it was very cute! It's on Netflix right now
