Well, I logged in one day to try to get my alias changed. It's rather pointless, as this obsessed nutball I know just lists them on another forum as I do so anyway. But I noticed some radge pot moderator on there "banned me from user name changes for 2 years" unsuccessfully, as I can still attempt it. They just kept declining the change.

I emailed them asking if they can just delete my account. The admin is a lazy sod who doesn't appreciate his members, and hardly any users post there, apart from bots. And like Shagger pointed out, the few human users on there like to post weird threads, with links to dodgy sites going ignored.

Honestly, I don’t know any forum owner or webmaster who would delete a user’s account or posts upon request. You can simply log out of that forum and never return. That’s the best thing to do.

That's really cool! Forums have always been a great way to bring like-minded people together. Did any of your forums grow into something bigger, or were they more for niche communities?

My forum is currently a niche community for pet games and sims. One day, it’ll probably morph into something bigger.

I know Jason runs a math and music forum.

In a statement, a Ubisoft spokesperson said the “difficult yet necessary decision was made to align these studios’ organizations with their future business and development objectives.” Affected employees will receive severance and career assistance.

The Cary office, called Red Storm Entertainment, canceled a game called Tom Clancy’s The Division Heartland earlier this year.

Designer anything. I neither need nor want Prada, Gucci, Hermes, or any of that shit. I'll get my clothes and bags at Walmart.

Honestly, I like buying shoes and clothes at Walmart. A lot of their shoes and clothes tend to last longer than a lot of other places. I still like buying Nikes and Addias shoes, but I'll still shop at Walmart if I had a million bucks.

I think the most active gaming community is Reddit's r/gaming. This gaming community always have new posts and members there share a lot of game tips.

Reddit dominates the search engines because of their partnership with Google, so they're able to drive in more traffic and activity than other gaming forums.

Agreed. The media is the biggest promoter of this degeneracy. Were are the decent songs about how to live your life in a more positive manner?

I don't like either to be honest. All they sing about is degeneracy and always talking about sex and drugs.

I only like certain songs by Cardi, but I honestly don’t like Ice Spice’s songs at all. I like Mariah Carey’s songs the best!

The preservation of mobile games is definitely a challenge. Unlike console or PC games, mobile games often disappear without a trace due to app store removals and device compatibility issues. It's a shame because some of these games hold some cultural value. Do you think there's a way for the mobile gaming community to better preserve these games, or is the fast-paced nature of mobile app development making it inevitable that many will be lost?

Unfortunately, I think they’ll be lost unless there’s some type of database created that’ll list of all the former mobile app games. Kinda like how you can find old websites on Alexa’s wayback machine.

  15. Sales of open-world survival-crafter Enshrouded have hit another big milestone, and to celebrate, developer Keen Games has shared some interesting stats about the game.

Keen Games has proudly announced that Enshrouded has achieved another significant milestone in sales since its Early Access debut in January, along with some fascinating statistics to mark the occasion.

According to a recent press release, Enshrouded has surpassed three million sales. To put this into perspective, the game reached one million players in just four days and hit two million sales within the first month of its release.

Although Enshrouded, may not be drawing the same crowd it did at its peak, it still maintains a solid player base, with around 10,000 daily active players according to SteamDB—impressive by any measure.

For those who have been following Enshrouded—whether as players or curious observers—there are some intriguing numbers to share. Keen Games reports that players have logged over 90 million hours in the game, during which time 150 million player deaths have been recorded. Ouch.

Nearly 700,000 players have reached the game's level cap of 25. Since the game's development began, Keen Games has doubled in team size, with the longest-serving employee marking 19 years with the company—a testament to their dedication!

Since launch, three major content updates have been rolled out: Hollow Halls, Melodies of the Mire, and Back to the Shroud. And there's plenty more on the horizon as part of the game's ongoing roadmap.
