Even a year after launch, Baldur's Gate 3 is still pulling in over 100,000 daily players on Steam. Baldur's Gate 3 has been consistently hitting over 100,000 players on Steam each week, only dipping slightly a few times, while its peak player count each month has never dipped below 103,767. For added context, that's a better player retention rate than the likes of Cyberpunk 2077, Elden Ring, and Hogwarts Legacy, all games that had bigger launches. Baldur's Gate 3 is a pretty special game, there can be no doubt about that. Even if you're not a fan of Larian's RPG masterpiece, you have to admit that the numbers Baldur's Gate 3 was seeing close to launch and the amount of cultural impact it's had in such a short amount of time is pretty impressive. In fact, Baldur's Gate 3 is still seeing incredibly impressive numbers almost a year after launch, pulling numbers that most publishers can only dream of. If you head to SteamDB and check out Baldur's Gate 3, you should be able to get a pretty good idea of how popular the game still is. While the game is nowhere near its peak player count of 875,343 that it set at launch, Baldur's Gate 3 is still managing to pull in over 100,000 daily players every single week, only dipping below that number a few times over the past six months. Socks with Sandals: Fashion Crime or Personal Choice?
Cpvr replied to killamch89's topic in General Chat
Wait what? I don’t know how anyone who could eat peanut butter with mayonnaise. That's disgusting. -
I agree. The price of snacks and drinks at the movie theater is also overpriced. I’d rather buy my own snacks and drinks & stay at home. However, there are some movies where I’d rather watch a big screen though.

My favorite Dwayne Johnson movie is 'Snitch,' where he plays a protective father who goes undercover to save his son. 'Black Adam' is my second favorite.

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Hollywood’s video game performers announced they would go on strike Thursday, throwing part of the entertainment industry into another work stoppage after talks for a new contract with major game studios broke down over artificial intelligence protections. The strike — the second for video game voice actors and motion capture performers under the Screen Actors Guild-American Federation of Television and Radio Artists — will begin at 12:01 a.m. Friday. The move comes after nearly two years of negotiationswith gaming giants, including divisions of Activision, Warner Bros. and Walt Disney Co., over a new interactive media agreement. SAG-AFTRA negotiators say gains have been made over wages and job safety in the video game contract, but that the two sides remained split over the regulation of generative AI. A spokesperson for the video game producers, Audrey Cooling, said the studios offered AI protections, but SAG-AFTRA’s negotiating committee said that the studios’ definition of who constitutes a “performer” is key to understanding the issue of who would be protected. SAG-AFTRA is going on strike against the video game industry. “We’re not going to consent to a contract that allows companies to abuse A.I. to the detriment of our members” Companies facing the strike include Activision, Disney, Insomniac, EA, Take-Two, Epic Games and WB Games. Would you eat fast food every day if it was good for you?
Cpvr replied to melanie_marie27's topic in Forum Games & Fun
I do too. Mcdonald’s bacon mccdouble’s are my favorite. Jack in the box’s breakfast jack’s are also good. I also enjoy eating Taco bell and popeyes. I used to eat fast food all the time, but now I usually only eat it once a month. -

Someone made a fan game for Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us”
Cpvr replied to Kane99's topic in Gaming News
This is what it's all about. Kendrick’s song 'Not Like Us' definitely brought out the creativity in others. This is a fun game too! -
Honestly, I haven’t played Monopoly go. I should give it a go soon though. The concept sounds like something I’d really enjoy.

Socks with Sandals: Fashion Crime or Personal Choice?
Cpvr replied to killamch89's topic in General Chat
I don’t see a point of wearing socks with sandals. They’re designed to not be worn with socks. -
Vividlope is coming to Nintendo switch on August 8th. Game description: VIVIDLOPE, the manic 3D arcade game with a puzzle spin, is coming to Nintendo Switch™! Join Cerise on her journey through the strange realm of VIVIDSCAPE. Here, the gravity is totally off the wall. Turn the world upside down as you run on ceilings, collect powerful items, fend off waves of enemies, and paint tiles. Plan ahead, but stay alert and react, as the foes keep coming from all directions - north, south, east, west, even top and bottom - watching your back might not be enough!

I’m the same way. I’m more into underground artists than mainstream except for certain artists. I don’t like what they play on the radio all the time.

Which Artist/s Would You Splurge on for a Concert Ticket?
Cpvr replied to killamch89's topic in Music
I’ve seen Lil wayne perform twice, so I would pay to see him perform again. I also saw Suicideboys perform before, so I’d splurge to see them before again as well. -
Eminem recently dropped his new album and I was looking forward to it. I’ve been listening to it ever since it dropped.

These are my favorite smoking songs.

I think it’s more of her record label making her do that, so she can get more views on her videos, but I’m not too sure.

Why does it cost money to game online on consoles?
Cpvr replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Platforms
Exactly. If they didn’t supply their own servers, then it would probably be free. The infrastructure is why it costs to game online. -

I don’t have a fear of flying, but I don’t like when my ears pop. I always have to chew gum when the plane takes off from the runeway.
