One game I sorely wished to have a sequel is Portal. The whole idea was pure genius and the ending made me crave for more. I needed more of GlaDOS. What’s the game you wish had a sequel?

I did buy a game via crypto the other day. And it was very smooth! I have used Bitcoin to buy a game on Steam, and it seemed just as fast and easy. It was an indie game, so that felt really good to be able to help directly fund the developers. Have you bought any games using cryptocurrency?

I have played very many hilarious games, but one that I still find funny is Goat Simulator. The whole thing of just controlling a goat doing havoc is a real comedy. The ridiculous glitches should only add to it. 🤣 What about you?

One game that didn't live up to my expectation was No Man's Sky. All the excitement in me all vanished since gameplay ended up feeling really shallow and actually repetitive. Also, it was totally disappointing that there was no multiplayer and the base-building was pretty limited. What about you?

I love playing games with my kids. For the younger ones, they love Minecraft which I do too. I also play Overcooked with my kids sometimes. We create so many unforgettable memories whenever we play games together.

GameOn replied to Scorpion's topic in Gaming Forum
Duck Hunt was the very first game I ever played, and there was nothing like putting a gun into the controller and shooting the screen. It wasn't Super Mario as many claimed. -
The Warthog from the Halo series is a fun ride. It's the best vehicle I have seen in games. Running down enemies, crushing them like they're not even real. I like to race around in it as it looks so powerful and loaded with some great weapons.

Do you still buy games despite having a backlog? Why?
GameOn replied to Scorpion's topic in Gaming Forum
Sure, I do buy games from time to time even though my backlog never gets shorter. 🤣 How dumb would it be to miss a new game. 🤣 So, I do this often, even if such game will be waiting in line forever to be played. -
What game do you think best exemplifies the art of subtle storytelling?
GameOn replied to killamch89's topic in Gaming Forum
Among all the games Dark Souls stands out as the ideal example of minimalist storytelling techniques. The narrative of this game blends perfectly into environmental elements. The game's plot needs players to observe and interpret every element as they discover the story which results in an immersive encounter. -
Video game content regulation on an international level will protect people who are susceptible to harm. While designing such standards they need to accommodate diverse cultural perspectives. Some regulatory guidelines maintain healthy content development yet protect players from harm particularly among children.

With each year, it is easier to realize that many of the games we knew and loved in childhood are becoming unavailable simply because of technology. How can an effort be made in order to preserve these games? Are re-releases the answer, or are there perhaps better options ? What’s your opinion on how to prevent those games from being lost?
