A good online gamers’ community is the foundation for the great gaming process. There will be good energy, collaboration and respect among one another. We see this in online gaming platforms like the discord servers, they help to improve gameplay, friendship and it's all fun for gamers.

Creating a gaming PC depends on your choice and on certain components. Superb graphics card, extremely fast memory, and an awesome processor are just the bare essentials.

While microtransactions are very much common in current generation gaming, are they really fair to the gamers ? When microtransactions are being discussed, many take into account video games such as loot boxes and pay-to-win models. It is one of the things for which some people have said it is a necessity while others have said it is a way of making quick money. What's your take on this?

To be fair, it is never easy to rank the greatest gaming consoles of all time. Gaming consoles right from the PlayStation 2 through to the Nintendo switch and the Xbox series X all form the basis of what today’s gaming market looks like and they are all pretty good.

They indeed have the technology and means on how to produce powerful consoles. If they use their existing platforms such as PlayStation 5 and Game Pass, they will have something new that will capture the players. -
What Game Do You Think Has the Best NPC Interactions?
GameOn replied to killamch89's topic in Gaming Forum
I believe that NPC interactions have been done the best in The Witcher 3. The main characters omare quite interesting and all have their background. They respond to your decisions and thus make the game realistic. -
If You Could Add One Feature to Every Game, What Would It Be?
GameOn replied to killamch89's topic in Gaming Forum
If I were to add one feature to every game, I’d probably include the ‘save anywhere’ feature. Sometimes you are in the middle of a challenging level or mission and without knowing it you quit and then you are forced to start all over again. If only being able to save could be done anywhere, gaming will not be as stressful anymore. -
Ever wanted to live in a world or map in a video game?
GameOn replied to Bizdustry's topic in Gaming Forum
Still, I’d prefer to live in the world of The Legend of Zelda. It is full of magic and adventurous stuff. I’d like to become Link, the hero, so that I can run around, defeat evil creatures and save the princess. It would be an amazing life.🤣 -
I am a gamer, my big brother got me into it. He owned a console and nice games. I watched him play and then he allowed me to have a turn. I was hooked from that very moments. Now I play games as often as I can, gaming is the best.

Inappropriate video games such as violent ones can change the young people’s minds. Restricting them only to adults is preferable. But parents should also pay attention to what their children play and keep explaining to them that it is only a game.

I want to see it being revealed from major studios, like a new Zelda game or a surprise sequel. Also, I want to always see the indie devs shine at all times.

Is shipping unfinished games the future of gaming? 😥
GameOn replied to Kane99's topic in Gaming Forum
It's so disheartening to see games in broken states. As gamers, we need to wait for reviews before buying any game. Also, it's crucial for gamers to also support studios that prioritize quality. -
Bioware does friendships so well! I'd add Commander Shepard's bond with Liara in Mass Effect to the list. Another one that stands out to me is the friendship between Joel and Ellie in The Last of Us . Their bond is so emotional.

That's a great mention! Another game that comes to mind is Animal Crossing, where you can't die or fail. You can also add Minecraft's to this list. In Minecraft, you have unlimited resources and can't damage.

I'm with you on the 16-bit era. The SNES and Genesis paved the way and it brought to us iconic games like Super Mario World, Sonic the Hedgehog, and Streets of Rage. These game are truly epic.

I still believe that it's No Man's Sky's GOTY nomination. The hype for this game was massive, but the game's launch was a disaster. Not to talk of the gameplay and poor optimization. It was a disappointing experience for many, including myself.

How much are you willing to pay for remasters and remakes?
GameOn replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
For me, it's more about the value the video game added. I'd pay up to $40 for a remaster with significant performance upgrades, but only if it's a game that I love to play and only if the changes enhance the overall experience . -
Of course, the first game which I played was Super Mario on NES. I remember it was that game which opened my eyes to the concept of video games. I just can’t forget how I rescued Princess Peach from Bowser The music alone is nolgastic. More interesting is the jump and power-up of Mario. They were so cool. I played that game for many hours back in the day.

I have never cried to a video game but I do get emotional when the story of the game is very touching. In Last of Us, I was emotionally touched by Joel and Ellie’s character. It looks so real but I didn't cry. At least I know two people who shed tears on this game, but it hasn't happened to me, and I don't think it would. What about you?

Video games can be super addictive. I often find myself asking the question, what exactly makes it so difficult to put down? In my opinion, it is the immersive experience and the narratives of the video games. Personally, I’m addicted to games such as Fortnite and Minecraft. The challenges in these games are enough to keep you coming back. What about you?
-
In my own opinion, video games shouldn’t only be enjoyed, but also should serve some useful purpose of instilling some simple lessons in one lives. I remember noticing that in games like The Last of Us. I learned a lot of things, which are patience, hard work and sacrifice. Not only that, Portal also taught me how to reason and be innovative..

Are esports going to take over actual sports one day?
GameOn replied to Kane99's topic in Esports & Competitive Gaming
Esports growth is very undeniable, but it doesn't surpass traditional sports. . Both have their own unique experiences. Esports may attract new audiences, but traditional sports have history. -
Yes, female-only leagues exist, such as the Women's League in Overwatch and the Female Legends Series in Apex Legends. I also know some notable female pro gamers like Kim Geguri and Sasha Hostyn.
