  1. I'm kind of excited to revisit Horizon Zero Dawn which is post-apocalyptic and sci-fi game. I like the Mass Effect series because of their engaging storyline and memorable characters.
  2. I've cosplayed as all characters from The Witcher. Geralt of Rivia is simply mesmerizing due to his ability to hunt monsters.
  3. I subscribe to services like Xbox Game Pass, swapping games with friends, avoiding microtransactions, playing free to play and Indie games. It allows me to have fun while playing games without necessarily having to spend quite a fortune.
  4. Same here, if you are the type that does not get to follow the detail of the story, then cutscenes are very important. I never miss them no matter how many times i replay the game. The Last of Us, BioShock and Mass Effect all have amazing narratives and cutscenes are a big part of that.
  5. I have come to realize that whenever you get to perform a specific task repeatedly, you end up losing the essence of the game. The passion for gaming activities can slow down. However, when I do play games outside of work, I enjoy gaming more.
  6. Resident Evil 7: Biohazard was terrifying. They made me feel like I’m the main character and it was running around. The pump up audio that scared the hell out of me.
  7. Absolutely! Video games can be described as therapeutic. The previous studies have it that gaming is healthy in as much as it reduces stress, anxiety and depression. It helped to avoids adverse thinking and helps to concentrate
  8. I share your frustration. In my opinion, AAA, instead of creating unique games, aims to earn money and, therefore, offers numerous bad games with a lot of problems. I can only think of two games, Elden Ring and The Last of Us Part II, which are exceptional
  9. In Portal, I get stuck on the puzzle and i was overcomplicating it . what it really needed was different portal permutations. Finally, I realized the solution was simple. It was embarrassing but yes it was also a relief.
  10. We are all prepared by our upbringing, culture and experiences which is the code for each of us as humans. But it is our ability to think and ask, reason and decide that can rightfully be called intelligence.
  11. If I cheat, I get that feeling of guilt that I have denied myself the chance to work hard and be productive. However, if, for example, I’ve spent too much time on the puzzle and it seems to annoy me, I will think about the option to use search.
  12. I became invested in the story of Arcade Gannon in Fallout: New Vegas. I kept him safe during the game and even to save him I had to kill other companions who were with him.
  13. I have read some of the interviews in The Last of Us . I’ve also watched some of the making and analysis videos. I was interested in the idea of developing an emotional and thoughtful gameplay.
  14. Eternal Darkness: Sanity’s Requiem is an interesting example of a horror and plot that Is too intense to try again.
  15. Yes, in Factorio, I had to manage factory layouts, resources and production by using spread sheets. The nature of the game required detailed planning.
  16. I have a couple of favorites like the Scorpion and Sub-Zero . Their design and special moves make them part of the Mortal Kombat series all through.
  17. This is why I often don’t pay much attention to character’s health and sanity in games that have optional permadeath. In Skyrim I don’t rest or eat unless forced to do so. That is why, minor benefits cannot compensate for such an inconvenience.
  18. You are right! The 2011 trailer of Aliens: Colonial Marines was meant to introduce the fans to an intense cinematic action packed game. However, we got a game that was with bugs, was poorly optimized, had stupid AI and graphics that were outdated even at the time of release.
  19. I would love to see the watercolor illustrations. It would be amazing to play a game that has a design with cute hand painted watercolor graphics.
  20. I remembered it was Stardew Valley. I got it during a Steam sale and had no idea what it was when I purchased it. It was pixel art, but I immediately fell for it because of the simple gameplay. Now I’ve spent hours farming and fishing.
  21. Mine is Geralt of Rivia from The Witcher. His moral ambiguity and humor, and really resonated with me.
  22. I find that games with rich lore and detailed worlds make it a lot easier. The MUDs and text RPs encourage lots of imagination, whereas MMOs often rely on structured content.
  23. No save points and unfair difficulty. I can still remember that 20-30 minutes, it was hell.
  24. For me, freeing non-hostile NPCs feels very rewarding, but the hostile ones pose a big problem.
  25. I am fine with leaving and joining a better community. Trying to address those issues will only makes things worst, that is why they must be avoided. Gaming should be fun, not stressful.
