  1. True! It also annoys me especially in games like Call of Duty or Battlefield. It some times destroyed the appeal of the game for me
  2. I can imagine that it is insanely funny and a chore to manage a team of mutants at the same time reducing the opponents on the field. It's going to be hilarious.
  3. I believe we will see more and more story elements as we have seen in the Last of Us TV series.
  4. Another example that comes to mind is Watch Dogs: Legion. The tutorial described the process as if it was one of the most complex things a person could ever attempt, but once you start, it’s actually quite easy.
  5. I completely agree with you. This is such a crucial issue to consider in game design mainly because games should be accessible as much as possible and the focus should be mainly on the player and their well-being.
  6. The soundtrack in The Last of Us is the most adaptive. It adapts to the game's emotional intensity
  7. I played Dishonored after watching the animated web series. The stealth gameplay and the storyline really intrigued me, and the adaptation actually did justice to the original game.
  8. I play GTA V entirely in first-person mode. The increased sense of presence and realism enhances the driving and shooting experiences.
  9. I play games in first-person, but after playing the Uncharted series, I started preferring third-person for action-adventure games.
  10. No, It is about depth, it is about immersion. Mobile games will never give the narrative and graphics experience like The Last of Us or God of War. Mobile games are kind of fun, but if one want to experience a better gaming then one should go for PC or console.
  11. Those games are useful because you can practice solving real-life problems using the knowledge of math. Of course, another one is Portal that one has to use spatial and geometrical understanding to solve a puzzle.
  12. True, but exceptions exist. Some of the titles justifying the price were Elden Ring or The Last of Us Part II. I believe that overpriced games are bad for the industry, putting people into Game Pass or pirating games instead.
  13. Joel from The Last of Us. In the first place, I was just thinking that he simply wanted to protect his daughter but, second time around, I was able to analyze why he was doing things: guilt, regret, and desire for redemption
  14. I didn’t feel that, Andromeda met the standards of the original trilogy, however, the game surprises me through combat, characters and exploration. The capability of the game was greater than its demerits.
  15. I have always wanted to go underwater and explore the mysteries of the sea by playing Subnautica which is a similar game to Outer Wilds . .
  16. This happened to me in The Long Dark. I was on day 50, and realized I had no medical supplies and had a severely injured character. but I was unable to scavenge or craft anything to help myself.
  17. Permadeath makes players more careful and think a lot about the actions they take in a game. I practice moderation, balance, and timing, take risks and accept consequences, perceive death as storytelling, and enjoy the process.
  18. I'm kind of excited to revisit Horizon Zero Dawn which is post-apocalyptic and sci-fi game. I like the Mass Effect series because of their engaging storyline and memorable characters.
  19. I've cosplayed as all characters from The Witcher. Geralt of Rivia is simply mesmerizing due to his ability to hunt monsters.
  20. I subscribe to services like Xbox Game Pass, swapping games with friends, avoiding microtransactions, playing free to play and Indie games. It allows me to have fun while playing games without necessarily having to spend quite a fortune.
  21. Same here, if you are the type that does not get to follow the detail of the story, then cutscenes are very important. I never miss them no matter how many times i replay the game. The Last of Us, BioShock and Mass Effect all have amazing narratives and cutscenes are a big part of that.
  22. I have come to realize that whenever you get to perform a specific task repeatedly, you end up losing the essence of the game. The passion for gaming activities can slow down. However, when I do play games outside of work, I enjoy gaming more.
  23. Resident Evil 7: Biohazard was terrifying. They made me feel like I’m the main character and it was running around. The pump up audio that scared the hell out of me.
  24. Absolutely! Video games can be described as therapeutic. The previous studies have it that gaming is healthy in as much as it reduces stress, anxiety and depression. It helped to avoids adverse thinking and helps to concentrate
  25. I share your frustration. In my opinion, AAA, instead of creating unique games, aims to earn money and, therefore, offers numerous bad games with a lot of problems. I can only think of two games, Elden Ring and The Last of Us Part II, which are exceptional
