  1. In Portal, I get stuck on the puzzle and i was overcomplicating it . what it really needed was different portal permutations. Finally, I realized the solution was simple. It was embarrassing but yes it was also a relief.
  2. We are all prepared by our upbringing, culture and experiences which is the code for each of us as humans. But it is our ability to think and ask, reason and decide that can rightfully be called intelligence.
  3. If I cheat, I get that feeling of guilt that I have denied myself the chance to work hard and be productive. However, if, for example, I’ve spent too much time on the puzzle and it seems to annoy me, I will think about the option to use search.
  4. I became invested in the story of Arcade Gannon in Fallout: New Vegas. I kept him safe during the game and even to save him I had to kill other companions who were with him.
  5. I have read some of the interviews in The Last of Us . I’ve also watched some of the making and analysis videos. I was interested in the idea of developing an emotional and thoughtful gameplay.
  6. Eternal Darkness: Sanity’s Requiem is an interesting example of a horror and plot that Is too intense to try again.
  7. Yes, in Factorio, I had to manage factory layouts, resources and production by using spread sheets. The nature of the game required detailed planning.
  8. I have a couple of favorites like the Scorpion and Sub-Zero . Their design and special moves make them part of the Mortal Kombat series all through.
  9. This is why I often don’t pay much attention to character’s health and sanity in games that have optional permadeath. In Skyrim I don’t rest or eat unless forced to do so. That is why, minor benefits cannot compensate for such an inconvenience.
  10. You are right! The 2011 trailer of Aliens: Colonial Marines was meant to introduce the fans to an intense cinematic action packed game. However, we got a game that was with bugs, was poorly optimized, had stupid AI and graphics that were outdated even at the time of release.
  11. I would love to see the watercolor illustrations. It would be amazing to play a game that has a design with cute hand painted watercolor graphics.
  12. I remembered it was Stardew Valley. I got it during a Steam sale and had no idea what it was when I purchased it. It was pixel art, but I immediately fell for it because of the simple gameplay. Now I’ve spent hours farming and fishing.
  13. Mine is Geralt of Rivia from The Witcher. His moral ambiguity and humor, and really resonated with me.
  14. I find that games with rich lore and detailed worlds make it a lot easier. The MUDs and text RPs encourage lots of imagination, whereas MMOs often rely on structured content.
  15. No save points and unfair difficulty. I can still remember that 20-30 minutes, it was hell.
  16. For me, freeing non-hostile NPCs feels very rewarding, but the hostile ones pose a big problem.
  17. I am fine with leaving and joining a better community. Trying to address those issues will only makes things worst, that is why they must be avoided. Gaming should be fun, not stressful.
  18. There’s even an option to save but basically I save without any changes just in case. That has been my tradition from year’s of intensive video gaming. Besides, one never knows when one has to shut down the computer or it could even crash on hand.

    Kvark

The Kvark's Steam reviews is so positive and its gameplay is promising too This makes it a must watch. I do hope it will expand its reach to console soon.
  20. I like the graphic design and the game’s general mechanics. It's absolutely awesome. Can't wait to dive back in.
  21. I think the features such as the multiple paths and obstacles guarantees an immersive experience. It's availability on console makes it open to more people.
  22. It's a game that I could say reminded me of how I stare at the screen in a game that's so immersive. I would like to hop on it.
  23. I like the icy sequel. Perhaps now, with Frostpunk 2, some of the pacing problems of the first game that could make it difficult will be solved.
  24. Exactly! The platform and combat seems to be an exciting one. The trailer will therefore help in providing us with a taste of what to expect.
  25. That's a Perfect combination! The gameplay should speaks more of strategy and technique rather than excessive use of force. This will make it appealing.
