Many of the VR games and experiences are actually designed for stationary play and this eliminate the need for a large play area. And For those that needs movement, it's very essential to dedicate a safe space for yourself.

I was even thinking that one day we'll even see VR contact lenses. But for now, I think we'll see a lot of reductions in size and weight, which will make it more comfortable and portable.

The IPD settings can make a big difference. You should make sure to take breaks and try to maintain a comfortable viewing distance as well. And also try to focus on objects in the virtual environment.

I don't have a headset too but I use VR for an average around 2-3 hours per week in a friend's house and it's mostly on weekends. -
VR can be used to teach relaxation techniques, like deep breathing, progressive muscle relaxation, or even meditation.

That's a great point! I see metaverse as more of an evolution than a revolution. It's just that now, the advancements in tech as made the idea become more mainstream.

VR is known to adds a whole new level of immersion and social interaction to the game. I've also played Among Us in VR with friends and it's absolutely hilarious.

Exactly, cost and accessibility are major barriers I have seen. I'm waiting for prices to drop and more AAA titles to be released as well.

I've had a similar experience where I got so caught up in a VR game that I tried to walk through a virtual door and ended up bumping into the real wall instead. -
I'm skeptical about it and even for meetings. I think VR headsets would be a barrier. It would be difficult to read non verbal cues or have side conversations.

Your suggestion is great. I'd also love to see games like Assassin's Creed or Red Dead Redemption in VR. I love the ability to fully immerse myelf in those vast worlds . It would be so incredible. -
The future of VR holds a lot of potentials. We should really expect more sophisticated sensors and some kind of advanced gesture recognition too.

Yes, motion sickness is a potential issue for some VR users. I've actually experienced it myself, but I've found that taking breaks and adjusting the headset will definitely help. -

I can usually go for about 2 hours before I need a break. What I found out is that it's very essential to adjust the headset properly and also ensuring good ventilation will help a lot. -
