I'm still here trying to process this news. I know that Annapurna was actually responsible for some incredible titles like What Remains of Edith Finch, Sayonara Wild Hearts, and Outer Wilds. Their absence will surely be felt.

I agree with you on that. It's very eessential to address the existing storylines and characters. Capcom has been known with the habit of introducing characters, only to abandon them later.

Managing expectations is very crucial especially when dealing with rumors. If a remaster or remake happens, I think we should be expecting to see a mix of both graphical improvements and gameplay tweaks as well.

I love this and some of the pros of an open-world Resident Evil game include, a completely new experience, longer gameplay and it also has more player freedom features.

That's a very fantastic choice. 1998 was indeed an incredible year for gaming. Other ones are Metal Gear Solid, Resident Evil 2, Banjo-Kazooie and Spyro the Dragon.
