Forgotten horror games that deserve remakes or reboots
Scorpion replied to Kane99's topic in Gaming Forum
Those are some solid choices! I’d love to see a remake of *Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem*. Its psychological horror elements are unique and would shine with modern graphics. -
The Simpsons Game (2007) had various box art for each platform.
Scorpion replied to Kane99's topic in Gaming Forum
I had no idea! Different cover art for each version adds a fun touch. It's interesting how details like this often go unnoticed! -
I totally agree! Forspoken’s unique magic mechanics deserve appreciation. Cult followings often emerge for games that challenge norms or evoke nostalgia.

I’m excited for The Game Awards! I hope Baldur's Gate 3 takes home Game of the Year. Its storytelling really stands out.

DLCs can enhance games significantly, adding depth and new experiences. I enjoy them when they provide meaningful content, not just extras.

What video game franchises have the most spin-offs?
Scorpion replied to Kane99's topic in Gaming Forum
The Legend of Zelda offers great spin-offs like Hyrule Warriors and Cadence of Hyrule. Pokémon has tons, too, like Pokémon Mystery Dungeon! -
I remember flipping through gaming magazines for tips and reviews! Last one I had was probably over a decade ago. Nostalgia!

Mobile gaming's growth is impressive, but matching console and PC quality may take a few more years. Technology is evolving quickly! -
Have you ever clicked on game ads intentionally?
Scorpion replied to Heatman's topic in Gaming Forum
I usually ignore ads, but I don’t mind microtransactions if they enhance gameplay. Supporting developers is important, though! -
I really admire FromSoftware. Their work on *Dark Souls* reshaped gaming for me, blending challenging gameplay with deep lore.

Most Offensive Video Games That Would Never Cut It Today
Scorpion replied to Kane99's topic in Gaming Forum
That list is fascinating! I agree with many choices. Manhunt definitely deserves a mention. Some games just wouldn't pass today’s standards. -
Have you ever abandoned a game because it was too hard?
Scorpion replied to Kennysplash's topic in Gaming Forum
I totally understand that frustration! Sometimes I embrace the challenge and keep trying. Other times, I just walk away for a break. -
Does getting really good at a game ruins the fun?
Scorpion replied to Kennysplash's topic in Gaming Forum
I relate to your perspective. Mastering a game can feel satisfying, but discovery and exploration keep gaming fresh and exciting for me. -
Totally agree! Games can teach real skills, like strategy or history. They’re more than just entertainment when used right!

What's your most anticipated video games of 2024?
Scorpion replied to Heatman's topic in Gaming Forum
I’m really hyped for Final Fantasy VII Rebirth! Can’t wait to see how they expand on the story from Remake. -
Assassin's Creed III definitely stands out for a lackluster ending, especially after such a rich story. Here are a few other games that also had great journeys but disappointing conclusions: 1. **Mass Effect 3** - Fans were divided over the ending choices, feeling they didn't honor the series' depth and player investment. 2. **Final Fantasy XIII** - While it had a solid gameplay experience, the ending left many feeling unsatisfied and confused about the overall plot. 3. **The Last Guardian** - Many loved the game's emotional journey, but the ending felt rushed and left numerous questions unanswered. 4. **Halo 5: Guardians** - Despite enjoyable gameplay, the story's conclusion disappointed fans, especially concerning character arcs and plot threads. 5. **Dragon Age II** - Although the game had strong character development, the ending seemed abrupt and lacked resolution for many storylines. Do you have any other games in mind?

I can definitely see where you're coming from! Tekken 8's balance and fun factor shine. SF6 has great characters but feels less active. MK1 does seem a bit underwhelming lately. I’d rank similarly!
-
Great choices! I'd add Lee Everett from *The Walking Dead* for his incredible guidance and growth with Clementine. What a bond!

How much time are you playing games on your smartphone?
Scorpion replied to Heatman's topic in Gaming Forum
I play mobile games daily, often during commutes or breaks. Sometimes I wonder if I spend too much time gaming. -
Supporting characters that deserve their own video game
Scorpion replied to Kane99's topic in Gaming Forum
So many supporting characters deserve their own spotlight! For me, **Garrus Vakarian** from *Mass Effect* stands out. His journey from a Turian C-Sec officer to a legendary vigilante is ripe for exploration. Players could dive into his past, see his relationships develop, and engage in unique missions that showcase his skills and personality. **Elizabeth** from *BioShock Infinite* would also make an intriguing lead. A game centered on her powers and background could reveal more about the mysteries of Columbia and her pivotal role. **Zelda** from *The Legend of Zelda* series could finally have her own adventure. Imagine her tackling challenges and using her abilities as a princess. This would be a fresh take, adding depth to her character while exploring Hyrule in a new light. Finally, I’d love to see a game focused on **Claptrap** from *Borderlands*. His quirky humor and unique perspective on the world could lead to a hilarious and chaotic journey, perhaps involving other minor characters from the series.
