Nintendo also has to improve their pro controller. A headphonejack and microphone for audio would be awesome similar to the dualsense. Also better audio through Bluetooth. And especially the wifi chip needs a big upgrade. For the storage it would be better for Nintendo to use ssd storage. Devs would heavily benefit from the speeds to make the games look and run better. Also the expandable storage should be ssd and micro sd. All of this tech is pretty affordable and very doable especially if nintendo plans on releasing it after 2023

I remember the days before saving, hours of playing sonic getting to the last boss battle and losing every time, it was frustrating, same as revenge of the shinobi. And believe me even with all thr years of gaming since then, them games would still break me, I know I tried revenge of the shinobi a couple of years back and couldn't get passed the first level saving was such a dream

Glad to see this. I imagine this is going to be built similarly to the way the homebrew community rebuilt the WiiConnect24 and online multiplayer functionality for Wii games. It's basically just the right combination of firmware tweaks and DNS address changes.

Probably Control, Skyrim, and Mass Effect 2 (it would be 2 & 3 because 1 is already on there, but the post specified three games and while I think ME3 is a better game, having ME1 and ME3 on the service with no ME2 would make zero sense).

I really enjoyed Forza Horizon 4 although it had some issues that in Horizon 5 got addressed. My biggest grip with Horizon 5 is how empty and soulless the world feels and I guess it big issues when trying to create such a massive world. I just pray that they either improve or ditch the story aspect of game as Horizon 5 story is beyond tolerable, and shift focus on world design.

For the most part, other software companies will pay better for the same job. The fact that you make games is a perk that means they can pay you less. Co-worker of mine doing government web dev said he'd never go back to game dev. Hours are awful.

It's interesting to think about for sure, but I'm not sure if things would be much different had the Dreamcast sold its fair share. SEGA might not have gone under, but I doubt they would've made another console afterwards. A lot of people believe the Dreamcast is why SEGA basically dissolved... it's not. They made a lot of bad decisions and very poor marketing for many years before the Dreamcast.

I wonder how you could make it special these days, isn't there a phone game that was similar that was very popular? These days I would find it hard to believe people wouldn't optimize the hell out of cheating too. Something like a 1v100 but Family Feud could be interesting because its all random surveys.

PS1 started with long jewel cases. Those didn't work well, the tabs broke so easily. I remember you could call SCEA and they'd ship you a replacement. When my case for Battle Arena broke they not only sent me a replacement they also sent me a photocopied list of some codes. (I didn't tell my friends how to play Sho.) Then they started using long plastic and/or cardboard ones. Those weren't very attractive, so they switched to standard CD-sized jewel cases. To my knowledge there's not a single game which shipped for the Playstation which started in a standard jewel case and then moved to a long box of any type. That's not to say none exist, just I've never heard of such a thing.

I could be wrong here, but it seems to me that it's just not profitable to go up against Nintendo in the handheld arena. None have been as successful in that market. ANd they just end up lossing not earning, they going to stick what they have going

I’m gonna go with Ape Escape. I played the first one for the first time not long ago and it’s a vibe. That draw distance tho. I’m all about the fifth gen aesthetic but it could use a remaster.

I would buy a remake in a heartbeat, but I don’t mind if they let the franchise die. The saga is completed and it has some of the best games ever made and I am more than happy with that. Not to mention those games have a lot of replay ability.

If you can't afford one, wait for the inevitable Slim or PRO model of PS5. Yes the PS5 is a great console but there haven't really been any must have exclisive games on it. It's an attractive technological boost, which isn't a bad thing but for many struggling consumers it doesn't translate into a must buy.

Also the ketchup on the arms thing is kinda sus because it shows that he wanted to trick people into thinking that he was hurting himself and chara went up the mountain to commit suicide so i think the self abusive personality indicates he might be like chara but i think he has some frisk in him to because of thinks like holding on to the garbage items because he was attached to their adventures
