What difficulty level do you try first with a new game?
Empire replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
I always select the hardest level after playing the game, because I want to feel like I've gotten the most out of any particular game I've bought. If it's too easy (especially for FPS games) I feel like I'm playing a point-and-click adventure game with no challenge. I'm not trying to pretend that I'm all elite and shit, I get my ass handed to me a ton of the time, but I still only feel like I've really earned the win when it's as hard as possible. Probably masochistic, but whatever. -
I just go all out crazy and fire even more bullets at them π Just thing it's a sponage bob and it goes right ibnto him and out again and he still dance.

What games have the most confusing tutorials/non-tutorials?
Empire replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
I like when games use their narrative to give me a tutorial. Like my character is going through the basics with a new guy or vice-versa. But at the same time, it's nice when a character asks "Do you have time to practice?" And I can answer "Sure, I have some time to kill [Begin Tutorial]" or "Can't. I'm busy [Skip Tutorial]". It always benefits replayability by making the thing that teaches you the basics skipable. -

I say most companies like Asus, MSI and Acer are just as shocked and news to them when microsoft announced regards to windows 111. Most low end budget cost Laptops won't able to run it π THEN AGAIN - On my 4 year old Laptop, Just only one yellow mark π That's since the CPU is not even listed or tested yet LOL

Honestly I dont mind that they bought in new hardware for the switch but I wish they didn't do it right now, I feel like after this release there might be new update more catered around the new model which is nice but it will end up neglecting the original switch we know and love, I personally hoped they brought in new software updates with thing people have wanted for a while would have been a better idea, especially to fix some problems with Bluetooth connectivity or just some change in aesthetics or customisation options or just more support for Nintendo switch online(as in save data for games like splatoon) or etc. Plz nintendo if u do read this (which I doubt) can u also think about software as well as hardware. If u guys did have to update the hardware I wish u guys had put out a way to minimise joy con drift.

Do you even have an option to able to chnage name? I mean most of the time system remembers your emails and the details that you used based from that email. With Xbox you have to wait to able to chnage your name, once you did it for the first time, the next time you have to pay for name chnage or wait years π

Fixes that make no sense, but still fixed your game
Empire replied to Patrik's topic in Gaming Forum
Can be the same for GTA4 - We tend to break it more with mods and then people came out with mods to fix the game to run it far better so that mods can run better π GTA was released unstable game in the first place. It run fine just that it was always not stable and made modding the game worse in that matter. Never did played Mad Max π Just gave up trying to spoke it out of the window after 5mins of not running the damn game. -
I never played the original Dr. Mario games so I have no idea how true the gameplay is to it's roots but I think they work for what they are. They throw plenty of new mechanics in there the farther you get so it doesn't get stale. It's cute to have a puzzle game that is filled with iconic Nintendo characters but that's all there really is to it.

Agree, It's like more older and maybe that age group of people that are into puzzle games more then before. Why is that?

Hmmm, A former Xbox exclusive that is no longer exclusive. It will now be released on PS4/PS5 and Switch.

Is this is a mobile game coming to all platforms now. played this game when it first released for a while back some to ago. with that being said its a chill fun skate game with good vibes. not a bad game to play on the side.

Just baffles me that a company can make so much money, yet have such poor security measures. Maybe all that money could improve policies and systems, as well as support the ground floor employees who need it. But nah, let's instead have it go to some shady off-shore accounts owned by the executives.

What stats do you wish were tracked in various games you have played?
Empire replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum

Whatβs your favorite piece of furniture youβve ever owned?

What skill or talent would you most like to learn?
Empire replied to killamch89's topic in General Chat
Being able to think, learn, process, memorize (in both my short term and long term memory), retain, and recall massive amounts of knowledge and information be it mathematical, scientific, engineering, technological, historical, political, strategy, planning, tactics, tracking, behavior/psychology etc. instantaneously. -
You are starting whit a wrong premise. You are not seeking an absolute answer, you are trying to absorb and understand more than your point of view, changing your own idea (maybe) in the process. I like to think philosophy it's like evolution, always changing with time and it's the process of studying it that enlight you, not read an answer from other people.

Well, like all of us we never get tired being on our PC and watching the TV π it's all true that is.

What quests do you do every time you play Skyrim?
Empire replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Video Games
For early quests, I'd say go to Markath and do the House of Horrors quest and get Molag Bal's mace. I used that thing up until I could make Dragonbone swords. Also, do the Greybeard's mission early on. I played till level 20 without getting the Fus Ro Dah shout. -
Disneyland Adventure is a good one, but what age group we are talking about here? Minecraft and the Lego Star Wars games are another cool games for them to get into, Disney Rush, Best part of this game is that you have a computer character that walks\runs\jumps\accompanies your child's player in game speaking hints and giving them someone to follow when they need a hand.

Giant Bomb, I always recommend these guys. In terms of written content they aren't amazing for sure, they all mostly tend to contribute in this realm though not too often, they really only have a hand full of primary writer at this point at least. For news I'd say they are decent, you'll get good news pieces from Austin Walker, the main written content producer at the moment. In terms of just articles like opinion pieces or even reviews they are a little less frequent. THen you can do on reddit selection of reviews of games on what people say π
