Have You Ever Had To Stop Playing A Game Because It's Too Scary
Empire replied to killamch89's topic in Gaming Forum
Not really, but then again time gets away and ahve to end ๐ Halo 3, the mission when you board High Charity to find Cortana. I was about 8 at the time, and playing alone late at night so it was pitch black, the jump scares proved too much for me about halfway through. -
I do, it a lot.I read only paperbacks, and i read mostly Fantasy so it often helps with selecting a book. For example i found out about Brandon Sanderson because cover art of "Way if the kings" looked so freaking cool. But it also led to less fortunate purchases, when cover looked awesome, but the book itself was bland.

Intel should just stick what they are good at, I mean stock and how things are still be just not being stocked. Unless they offering greater performance.

is this pretty much the case with the b460 boards? i had to jump at some parts as i really needed to upgrade, got a 10400f and the gigabyte ultra durable b460. i just game, no heavy work load stuff, but i'm curious if there would be a large enough benefit to lift the power restriction. i'm not too familiar with my new rigs options, but i would be able to figure it out if it ended up being worth doing so.

Android 12 Beta Is Here And It Looks Like It's Packing Some Heat
Empire replied to killamch89's topic in Mobile
I really like the new design, one thing I feel like I wont like is that we then have less quick settings visible when swiping down once. I feel like every update, they change many good things but also remove one very neat feature, so that you get bugged out by it not existing anymore. Examples being the battery percentage not visible anymore when swiping down the quick settings, or the gesture control that they had after the three button layout that didnt support precisely switching between multiple apps after they've released the new gesture control. -
Nope, never had a phone that was able to do gaming ๐ apart from Angry birds. My Redmi note 10 pro does great gaming however I never do gaming but watch and record 4K films ๐

Games from the "worst" companies that you enjoy
Empire replied to The Blackangel's topic in Gaming Forum
The problem is EA has their nose in just about everything. As another redditor listed they've got Battlefield, Dead Space, Sims, etc. I for one enjoy playing Battlfield and Dead Space but no I don't agree with a lot of stuff EA does or how they treat their over all customer base. That being said I have not been personally wronged by them. Point is people like the games EA has managed to slap their logo on, and people will continue to buy them. -
I do not want to be a scalper or in fact buy from an scalper, that's me even the price is right. nope. Even so how much did he or she pay then to resell at a same price point or what?

Most unlucky times youโve experienced while gaming?
Empire replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
Bad luck happens in real life too. Ran over a nail on the highway? Fuck my life. Just gotta move on and accept there wasnโt anything you could do about it. If you let it get to your head then you should probably take a break but if youโre anything like me, played this game for 5 years. Then you just say โunlucky, better luck next timeโ and pretend it never happened -
The misaligned camera is a great design. especially for people that like and what that, who tends to cover the lens with my index finger. great idea! also if you drop it to the right corner, it won't shock your lens. I love the fact that he starts the video immediately with the topic and not some dumb intro or sponsorship and puts them at the end of the video. Anyway Im literally blown away by the specs of this phone.

Outriders loses 93% Of Steam Players Due To Bugs And Stingy Awards
Empire replied to killamch89's topic in Gaming News
At this point I think the question is not "when will companies learn?" but rather "when we as consumers learn?" I find it fascinating that everytime a looter shooter/life service mmo or whatever the hell is that they try and do everyone instantly jumps into it and buy it day one despite the fact that the track record for all those kind of games is pretty poor. It's our fault as consumers that these games still exist, we deserve the industry we have just because we don't change our consuming practices, Crazy how a game with so much hype and excitement around it turned out to be a mess *looks at CP2077*. -
Cool, hopefully you will enjoy and have fun with your new toys ๐ I just buy the game and not worry about anything else as a bundle unless it came for free. Why spend extra money on that, end of the day it's the game that most people want ๐ that's me though.

Getting angry at anything that doesn't actually have an impact on one's life is childish. come on, Anyone that truly loves a game would find enjoyment in analyzing their mistakes and figuring out how they need to improve. As you stated, professional players are good at keeping calm and this only helps them get better. It's a big reason why they've made it as far as they have. Often enought we always see it in big title games, even GTA online where kids just rage over there mic when they get killed over and over again and hear so many bad words from there end. The games that I do, it's relaxed and never have this. apart from yourself ๐

What are the best games to play when you are feeling sick/unwell?
Empire replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
Have you tried Spintires: Mudrunner? I personally like to play that game to kill time and such. Maybe it's something for you if you're into those types of games. However when I'm feeling sick and inwell, I have my PC off and try and rest as playing and looking at screens can make it worse. -
Wasn't always the case when they first started but they bing in sports betting into a game that's already had sports. I never bet in reallife and so I never bet into Esports. I do not even follow any sports.

Depends on the game whether a walkthrough is necessary. For Call of Duty? No one should need one (except maybe for multiplayer). For Dark Souls/Minecraft/many older games? Well I for one wouldn't have got past the Capra Demon without a walkthrough in Dark Souls. Walkthroughs certainly have their place, and I respect the gamers who write these things up. So much detail. In fact, sometimes I will read a walkthrough of a game I know very well just to see how the author got through certain parts, or what he thinks of certain systems and such.

๐ I mean I'm always up to something but do not know about getting in trouble ๐

Fox. I'm not 100% sure, but I think I'm a bit more perceptive, cunning and trickster-ish than most people.

We need more of this. Its a step in the right direction. Completely opening up and owning up to the mistakes is much better than the usual "We heard your feedback" and "we are listening" type "apologies" where the company uses fancy PR words to avoid ever admitting they did anything wrong. They obviously still need to follow up with actions that reflect their intentions, but an open admission of guilt is a breath of fresh air from a usual deceptive industry.

Ohh, well, that's not that bad if you think about it ๐

Does The Forest count? I mean its more about survival game then anything else that you play with people and you build and eat and cook and hunt to walking around. MAny times that I have been BANG up in my chair ๐ even Stanley Parable. Something about how the game plays out, with the emptiness, I constantly felt like something was going to jump out at me. Even though the narrator was funny, it gave me the creepy kind of funny. Similar to Glad0s, but more sinister
