Since the start, I always prefer new parts that are from the manufacturer, well buy new parts from the retail store that gets it from the manufacturer. I just rather want new that's fresh and you know that you get a warranty and able to keep it and make it last. WIth used PC parts you have no idea what's been though, I mean GPUs can be gone into mining or maybe it's just had a bad life. Even if you looking into used parts, GPU, CPU and also Motherboards are what you look into, other gear you must get them new, even the AIO. With AIO they last five to 10 years max if they handle well.

The most system will read old to new format anyway. I mean if you have photoshop it will read just about any format and then save it as PNG or whatever. Just insert your floppy disc into your drive that's plugged into the USB socket and then remove the data onto your PC or USB drive. Then use Photoshop to open if it needs editing or converting. In your case what's the format of the images and data on the floppy discs?

Oh man this game looks stunningly beautiful! I already fell in love just by looking at it. π but seems you like playing this game then? Seens So much good wallpapers of sceneries, really adore this kind of game that has simplistic concept with beautiful soundtrack and minimalistic graphics.

Heard of the site but never became active and part of what they got to offer. I'm those people that rather get games and have them installed onto the PC from Epic or other library accounts like steam. Does it even offer so much Indian devs and or Indian people added games?

that's on paper 3.8ghz to 5.3ghz. And I know many people able to overcloack even harder then that to 5.5ghz. But 10th is missing what 11th will be having that tends to not really fuss me. Then again we have no idea what the end resuilts for the 11th gen.

The want for coffee and the need for a toilet, other then that there is nothing for getting up other then going on my PC and get up far to late on most monrings. No work or jobs to get up for.

The only issues you will face when using your modern PC is with software compatibility, You don't really need to build an old school pc to run old games in fact that you can play 90-00' games on emulators and you need to fiddle with settings. There's no guarantee all games will work and its more likely than not that there's no workaround for certain games. This said, based on what's your PC system is, You can either browse ebay for parts or straight up buy older systems and tweak them. A rig that runs 90-00 games probably will be less than hundred bucks. A rig that runs 00-10 games will at most be 200 for max settings for its time.

RAM usage shouldn't be a concern either way if you're using a modern standard amount such as 8GB or more. FreeSync isn't supported on Linux yet unfortunately, but will be eventually apparently in some undefined amount of time. Fortunately modern AMD cards like the RX 580 are among the best supported on Linux currently. Performance should be about the same on any modern distro, though expect it to be less than running games on Windows in a lot of cases. As for games that are best, it's highly subjective, but in terms of performance, Dota 2 runs quite well in my experience. To my knowledge, DX12 isn't the best yet. You can probably get it running in DX11. Will it stutter? Maybe? In general I'd advise against having too higher expectations for Wine performance. Things can also be a bit of a headache to get running in Wine too sometimes. Better to think of it as a bonus to tinker with rather than relying on it as a core part of using Linux.

Since Intel revamped there staffing they are now acting the right way of dealing with this. AMD seems that they will always going to be ahead regards core counts π and glad that they are able to keep that π but intel will always be single core performance, even the last two gens they able to hold the single core performance challenge. That's why they are still ahwad in regards gaming π Hell, I only have 8 cores but I can get 5.3ghz π even gaming I get to 4.8ghz on my 10-700K Also, might be getting 11th gen myself if the cost is right π Give it time and Itel will be back as a leader π

Already got 300 hours into this simulator, then again over 2000 hours in FSX and another 1000 hours in P3D and so that tells you all that I'm into this kind of things. MSFS2020 is still has a long road ahead, I mean perfect for GA flying but for another realism factor, I use P3D. Raod map has is never going to end. Before you buy the game here, I'd recommend that you try it through the Xbox Game Pass where you can get it for $1 a month on your first month, otherwise $6 a month. If you download it through Xbox Game Pass, you can also use the downloaded files through the launcher on the Steam version if that is how you want to go about it later on. The sim itself is fantastic and I feel that it was well worth the wait in a way!

Epic could easily bring Fortnite to mobile because Unreal already supported mobile devices. Respawn needs to do a ton of work to get Source engine to work on mobile or even completely remake the game in a different engine. I mean all I hear is soft release and not even stable or out? Well seen that has been removed from the stores already. I mean not out for real. https://in.ign.com/apex-legends/154723/news/apex-legends-mobile-release-date-planned-for-2021-report 2021 it says

Amazon's new CEO says they're not done with video games
Empire replied to Kane99's topic in Gaming News
Gaming is a huge part of people and they know that they will make so mucj money from gaming. But then comes down to what games they do, crap will be a down as RIP. Andy Jassy won't let this stop, I mean he wants to impress Jeff Bezos π -
This is a great 2d platformer, Reminds me a bit of rayman. The controls are good what I heard and that the graphics can be good, gameplayis another story since I do not know what the story is about. This is a solid game that's reat addition to the switch..

Even so, end of the day PC has come a very long way and most PC can handle it even if it's too much on the system. If you where to game heavy on a 20 year old PC then you are crazy. They have safety corridors built-in π If the CPU overheats too much your CPU fun will spine faster and soon enough your PC willfully go off. Won't get fired bang or catch on fire, just goes off and your screen goes black. Just turn it on again and loads up. Did that once, installed my CPU and then turn it on without the cooler, lasted 30secs before it went off again. Same with the CPU cooler powered up connected but CPU heated up so fast it shuts off.

I thought that it gets harder as you level up more, I mean easy from level 5 to level 14. Well seems that I have no idea about this game at all.

It's lovely to see some of the Pokemon absent from previous Switch titles (Starly, Swanna, Beautifly, Toucannon, Pikipek, Deerling, Sawsbuck, Bidoof and Meganium) making their glorious HD debuts on the console, even it's only a spin-off. I never played the original Pokemon Snap, but I might get this one.

Do you listen to game soundtracks when you arenβt gaming?
Empire replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
Don't really, then again Spotify has an "Epic Gaming" playlist that is amazing! and also I listen to free copyright music that's called beats when streaming but mostly it's a nope from me -
And most of them are good also, I remeber using them back when there are around. Google+ I used then BANG no longer. From the list there are so much that they ended, then again some of them on the list where pretty bad and should be killed off.

I do like the disturbed version but don't think I'll ever be able to hear it again without hearing this, it's wonderful and certainly pissed myself laughing at this. Have made it better in away that it makes me and others smile. We weren't made for social distance. but it what we have to do now. But by him to be making this song it's wonderful.

Anyone else feel like they are living in cuckoo land?
Empire replied to clonefox's topic in General Chat
Well, with bidon in place and he's now th new boss I should say π I hear that things have changed and more rules are in place and so my point said that you guys should be in locked down by now? or it's not going to happen. Over in the UK, we have been in lockdown since the last week of December and it's going to be another good month away till we are lifted. Plus wearing masks in stores and out on the streets. At least I'm exempted, and people tend to stay away from me. -
I never played Placer Racer π Shocking right, well it's true I never had a copy or played the game. Getting to level 41 is a achievement π @Family sedan in fact what's the highest level that people can get? over 100 or more, I do not know!

My favorite mount is the bronto. I named her Thunder Thighs. I get a huge kick plowing through the forest knocking over trees. It's pretty rare to misplace my mount when it's that big, most of the predators don't mess with me, and I crush whatever gets in my way. I've turned the platform saddle into a mobile manufacturing facility. Sparkpowder, narcotics, gunpowder, etc.

It's not cheap, in fact, I say it's overpriced for a game like that, I mean it's not even that big and any PC that is the low end can run this with no problems. If you do try the demo let me know what the demo has to offer and if it's a good enough game to be worth of getting it But it's way to high for my cup of tea. π

Nice to see it's been confirmed and with the price. However I won't be getting it myself, no job means no income and also means no gaming with this game. But like anything else I never go right into the game at day one π I always wait till some weeks or so after.

I like to replay games as soon as I finish them and not get bored. With discovery comes frustration then the feeling of accomplishment. With knowledge of the game comes proficiency. For example, when I first beat Batman Arkham Asylum, I was happy about it. I wasn't the badest Dark Knight I could be though. No problem, I jumped right back in and dominated from the start, picking up trophies that I easily missed the first time as I focused on learning other mechanics. But now? I know the hiding places, the tricks, the combo moves, the timing and all the things that make the Batman the Batman in game. As a result, my game experience is improved.
