alignment seems to serve no purpose aside from limiting roleplay, And the big problem here is that a lot of "Lawful" choices don't work, RP-wise, for Paladins, because Paladins follow a specific code for their god, which doesn't match just following "the law of the land" and may conflict with it. For a lot of PCs this doesn't matter because their alignment doesn't matter, but for classes where it does, like Paladin, this is a big problem.

How do you remind yourself to charge your controllers?
Empire replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum

10 Cruel Tricks Video Games Played On Open World Players
Empire replied to The Blackangel's topic in Gaming Forum
Death Stranding is actually kindest version of the "Short cuts make for long delays" trope in games, because 9/10 times, you have a decent or better shot of finding a way around your current obstacle if you stay calm, patient and calculating. Even if you run out of gear, you can get more built if you trek back to base and eventually forge a path to where you need to go. -
Dead Island 2 Delayed yet again, releases April 28th 2023
Empire replied to Kane99's topic in Gaming News
I’m so glad about this. Was really looking forward to this but the Dead Space remake comes out a week before and Like a Dragon Ishin 2 weeks after so I didn’t know if I’d have enough time for all of them. This makes it easier. -
Sonic co-creator Yuji Naka arrested for possible Insider Trading
Empire replied to Kane99's topic in Gaming News
Considering a lot of the unsavory information I found about Yugi Naka in the past few years, I'm kind of not surprised that he'd do something like this. I guess Balan Wonderworld truly was the final nail in the coffin for him. -
I do believe there are more cases of that. Not just from Turkey. What's baffling is the fact that the footage is clearly from a video game. Like the graphics weren't turned up, there were no visual effects mods to make the explosions more realistic or stylized camera work like OP posted. It just shows low res gameplay. Have they never seen a video game?

Unless they get it used or able to get it on sale, just that end of the day it's not just about the VR but seeing what you need to get to able to run and suppor it. ends up costly to get started 😛 I have someones that spent 800 all up with list of games

First gameplay I would not do that, but if you played the game more then once then I would skip it. Playing to get the story and achievements done as I would now what the story is about

starting one can be just hard work at times, I mean I have started or try and get one going but then it was not fun for me. I used to run or at least help with a clan but ended up working on things for the clan then playing 😛

Portal is not only about solving 19 easy puzzles and boss fight. Portal was so good because it was something other, something special. It was the best 3D logic game with it's story behind the scenes. Playing 2nd Portal game (which is so much longer, has multiple puzzle themes, puzzles themselves are harder

Patent reveals that Sony is working on NFT and Blockchain Tech
Empire replied to Kane99's topic in Gaming News
People need to calm down on the NFT thing, this could also be a new way for them to verify ownership of things like digital game, dlc and such, having an external way to work with its own internal database, it could also be to hold the patent so they could make money off others wanting to use it... or it could be NFT trash lol -
Soctland always wanted to be an own country for things 😛 The game is tremendously complex, tracking a lot of variables all at once, with real time ballistics calculations, physical forces, inertia, velocity, and on top of it hit point based tracking with all sorts of other stuff on top of it, all on a context visible to a human. It's awesome to win this one. Good job on them

So long as it's just animated and not full anime all that crap. looks the same I'd like it done like Street Fighter 2 animated movie style take me back to being 14. So yeah, I'm completely in favor of it being animated. I doubt a live action crew, save for maybe the guy behind Kingsman, would do anything but screw up a reshoot of that clip that plays every time we open the game.

Up to 4.78M accounts suspended by Xbox in just six months
Empire replied to Kane99's topic in Gaming News
I’m not sure what to make of this information. Cool I guess. Glad they’re taking action against the spam messages that most people are getting. Crazy that they are doing it now and not then, what was the long hughe delay -
Games that won't require 100% of my attention
Empire replied to TonyAvatarGaming's topic in Video Games
Miitopia is a basically a skilless RPG, but I found the easy grind addictive and the odd idea of creating the villagers faces makes the quests to save their faces personal. Building the relationships between your teammates is satisfying to. You can even put it on auto for the grind, making it even easier to not need to pay attention. -
I think if I am skipping cutscenes in a single player on the first playthrough I am probably already at a point where I would be better off just quitting the game.
-
practice on it - I like that idea indeed so if it goes to poop you are not going to loose out as it's not your main gaming platform 😉

It's like anything else, Yet people can always chnage how they play you know 🙂

Everything you said is so true in the video. All the hype on the new gen consoles has been so misleading, many players think they need to upgrade their TV/monitor with HDMI 2.1. It’s definitely not needed. 30fps to a fixed 60fps is all the upgrade that was needed in console gaming. Even 4K is over hyped. 1080p or 1440p at 60fps is still impressive for console gaming. As far as ray tracing goes, again another selling feature that’s not needed. I have a PS4 pro & an Xbox one X both have a good selection of games that play phenomenally well at 1080p or 4k at 60fps.

Does PlayStation have a design your own controller option?
Empire replied to Kane99's topic in Playstation
I'm just a person that as long as it feels comfortable and fits in my hands while gaming then I'm happy, doesn't or not fussed about the looks of it since you not going to see it as you be holding it hard while playing -
Ive read places saying some systems are busted but that these were more pre-release consoles than consoles in the wild. Im sure its just a bug that will be ironed out with patches/firmware updates. Hopefully anyway! Doesn't seem to be game related since everyone is having issues across multiple titles, Here's hoping there's a hotfix from Sony soon. Reading about these sweet machines turning to bricks always makes me paranoid.

I just ended up playing on another Xboc that I did not own. It's not for that amount of time but it was fun at the time. I do have an xbox account for linking up games to play on my PC 😉

It means death right..? Not sure if anyone here has seen Microsoft's documentary series on the History of Xbox, but they've finally fessed up as to what the cause was. Turns out that the solder connecting components inside the chips themselves were not very tolerant of rapid changes in temperature (IE, running your console until it got hot, then turning it off for a while to cool down, rinse repea

Portal is the best puzzle game. The test chambers are disguised tutorials, which teach you how to beat the game. A good puzzle game doesn't force feed you how to play, you learn to play as you do the puzzles. Talos Principle also gets this part right.

Honestly I stick with PC platform 😉 Doesn't really bother me that much unless it's somthing that really open my eyes and if I have the money to able to afford it.
