Sony is worried about Microsoft Buying Activision
Empire replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Playstation
Microsoft only bought Activision because they wanted something that could turn Xbox division as a whole profitable on the quarterly financials. This is why there is no plan on making Call of Duty exclusive, even after any contract ends with Sony. It makes them far too much money, and would ruin the point of their acquisition. -
Not many, I brought CSGO then one day that became free 😛 that's the only game that I hve allot of hours into the game as a free game. I also played APB reloaded also and that's free.
-
I list my games that I'm looking forward too, however I still stick to my go to games 😛 son of the forest Skull and Bones Ark II
-
I lost the hype, that's not down to the game it's just that I lost interst, only time that I play ut if others play it you know. ALso it's walking simulator 😛 that's what you tend to do allot is walk and run 😛

Most of them are better than the originals imo, I haven’t run into any where I’ve had to grind. They’re harder but in many cases optimizing a moveset will be waaay more effective than level grinding (I remember I beat insurgence with a lovely kiss/calm mind/moonblast/dark pulse alt-type roserade ans didn’t have to grind at all).

The old 'The Dark Eye' video gamed are quite close to playing the tabletop version. They are called Blade of Destiny, Star Trail and Shadows over Riva.

Functionality in games it took you years to discover
Empire replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
GTA to a point, even going back to the old GTA games and you see something that you have not seen before 😛 I mean it's a open big map and you see new things over time that you ever seen there before or whatnot. -
Age of empires 3 has much more civilization diversity then Age of Emipires 2. Each civ is different then the others all play differently with strengths and weakness throughout the game.

Were you ever present for the end/shutdown of an online game?
Empire replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
Not really, If the game that I have played but it's not my cup of tea then I just not go back to the game again. PubG is something that I played three years ago then I want back and palyed it again for a day then stopped again. But most of the time I never palyed the games before the servers goes offline. -
What concepts do you want implemented in a future video game?
Empire replied to NightmareFarm's topic in Gaming Forum
My dream is for games in well-understood genres (i.e. FPS, 4X, RTS, etc.) to be easily produced by those games' fans, creating a glut of variety in common genres, ending reliance on games companies to produce those types of games, and forcing games companies with significant capital to become creative again, instead of shoveling the same shit out the door every year. -
As a business decision I can understand the price increase. They left billions of dollars on the table as scalpers bought up the stock and resold at 3 or 4 times MSRP. However, I think they've severely overcorrected on the price and are ignoring market factors (decreased demand due to lockdowns ending and Etherium crypto runs ending) that will hurt them in the long run. The question now is, is their product so much better than the competition's that the consumer will still buy the card? I'm still rocking a 1080 TI because I didn't want to pay scalper prices, now I'm questioning if I should even wait for the 4080 series or just buy a 3080.

Do you actively avoid walkthroughs some or all of the time?
Empire replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
walkthroughs are good, I mean why not do it 🙂 Spending that amount of money on a game to do not able to do walkthroughs.. I want my money worth. Without a walkthrough I would have never completed Dark Souls, or at least not fully enjoyed it. I may have been able to force myself through the content at a slow rate, but when I played without a walkthrough I just felt like I was missing so much, items, entire areas (Ash Lake, for instance), etc. -
What RPGs have the most varied ending branches?
Empire replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
Infamous for sure! It’s not as good looking as the other games and it’s pretty old, but I really enjoyed the entire series! Easy mode is getting that bad karma, too easy to be evil! The choices are more of your actions rather than speech options. Like if you choose to kill a civilian vs heal them. Or if you subdue a bad guy vs kill them. It’s really a question of do you want to kill a bunch of people or try really hard not to? Lol -
Same, I mean I thought that the 4000 series would use more power and yet they said only by 100watts - In fact I was pleaseed about that 🙂 however the cost of the new cards are just too much, the cost of them what shocked some people. I'm also after a new card and might stick with the 3000 series. Yet even so my max is £700
-
I say go and get it 🙂 I mean the base game is cheap nowdays on sale or from another store. I got it at day one for $50 and now can get it as low as $10 - they make there money on DLCs - Then again I was hypev about it when it got released now however I'm not. Untill you start playiing it you would not even know.

PlayStation is giving top Stars members ‘priority’ in customer support
Empire replied to Kane99's topic in Gaming News
This actually makes sense though because people who play more are more likely to encounter issues. I think this is an okay-ish change because the customer support queue will not be hogged up by TOP Stars members all the time -
I'm not surprised, but I am pissed. Stadia was SO EASY TO USE YOU GUYS. No waiting for updates to download and install. No waiting to just load the damn game, Its a click away from where I'm typing this, then another button press and I'm loading into Destiny right away. I use a Mac, so it was a fantastic way for me to play games on the machine that I'm on all the time anyway instead of loading up another machine to do so. I am so freaking upset that this option is now going away.

I really want to meet others from The Hope, meet new companions, maybe see another colony, or find out what happened to Earth. It seems exciting.

Such a cool concept I hope they realize what they have on their hands here. This can really be the kind of game that subverts the entire multiplayer genre into something we’ve never seen before, like what immersive sims did for single player games.

Would you say Best Buy has the best computer selection and deals?
Empire replied to melanie_marie27's topic in PC
I don't think soo, then again I never been to Best buy and also I never been to the USA state 😜 I live in the UK and we know our best deals that money can't buy. -
I was late to the game regards owning my own PC 😉 My grandfrather had WIndows 93 for all my first ten years before he gave me that and before he gave me that I had a very old system that run from floppy disks and had no OS 😜 I was around 10 or 11 years old at the time 😉

At one point I thought Dark Link from OOT was tough but beating him is easy for me, just don't lock onto him, I don't think any of the OOT bosses are tough to beat though I do find Barinade and Bongo Bongo a challenge sometimes. But I do agree with the Lorule counterpart of Kholdstare is a pain to fight

Remember when Phoebe's bank accidentally deposited $500 to her account, she called the bank to correct the error and the bank thought they owed her and just deposited another $500 along with a football phone? Call Microsoft and see what happens.

Cool, where did you end up buying it from then in your case?
