Favourite and least favourite game released in the 20s?
Empire replied to NightmareFarm's topic in Gaming Forum
might be in 2003 the simsons game LOL -
LittleBigPlanet 2 I think. Before I was 12 I didn't know what games were coming out until I saw the toy shops christmas catalogues. Then I discovered the IGN upcoming game lists and found sequel to one of my favourite games and all the new features it showed. It blew me away. I think it was my first ever pre order as well. Now I'm 17 and using LBP 3 as an excuse to try get my girlfriend into games.

Alien Isolation. The excellent use of lighting and music, along with the retro sci-fi art style taken straight from the first Alien film, creates a truly unnerving atmosphere that has sent chills up my spine on many occasions.

The Last Of Us has great dialogue even though i find the story to be incredibly boring. Also, for a JRPG Persona 5 was really well done.

Question about hunting games and wheter are not to play them?
Empire replied to Yaramaki's topic in Gaming Forum
Well, @Heatman The game is far from done. 1: No female characters. 2: No bows in the game. 3: The scopes suck every time you shoot the scope blacks out far from realism, Plus they should of made it with Unreal Engine 5. The graphics aren't really that good. COTW is has way better graphics except the animals they all seem to have broken necks and always looking to the right. -
GTA creator reports Rockstar places copyright strikes on his prototype videos
Empire replied to DC's topic in Gaming News
Was Rockstar always like this or did I just not notice? I always thought they were a decent company, made high quality games (especially RDR2 which, few flaws aside, was one of the best games of the decade), but I only really noticed this bad side to them with their crap remakes of 3, Vice City and San Andreas and their response to it. -
What an amazing gesture. I hope that his loved ones can take solace in the joy that his work will continue to bring.

I don’t understand how they claim this is ripping off consumers. Wouldn’t that mean that games would be more expensive digitally than they would be physically? If anything the 30% take would be a rip off to publishers. Also they claim Sony has a monopoly on digital PlayStation games because the PlayStation store is the only place to buy them. That’s like saying the Pokemon company has a monopoly on Pikachu.

The animation on Sonic is showing some improvement! I just wish they pushed it a bit further in some bits, tap into that design more. But other than that, this looks amazing. Don't have a ps4 or 5 nor am I getting one anytime soon sadly, so I'm probably not going to be able to get it on release, but this looks really fun.

Black Myth: Wukong, a new Chinese Action Adventure RPG
Empire replied to Shagger's topic in Gaming News
It having a bestiary for the monsters you fight is nice. I wish that was standard in RPG’s so you can understand the background at leisure(instead of forced or partial exposition why it’s there). Favorite two parts here are using the extending staff to avoid the root blast(nice way to make fights have a puzzle element) and the weird creature form at 6:22 which with the more comical music shift helped break up the string of battles. -
Saber Interactive now making a Star Wars KOTOR Remake
Empire replied to Kane99's topic in Gaming News
Eh, KOTOR really isn't that massive or complex. The story and the amount of dialogue were big for the time, but they aren't that big now. The maps aren't that big, the combat system isn't that complex, the number of unique enemies, items, and weapons is pretty small compared to most modern RPGs. I hope they add and modernize a lot of things, but on its face a remake of KOTOR isn't really that daunting of a task. -
PGA Tour 2K23 Launches This October, Tiger Woods Cover Athlete
Empire replied to DC's topic in Gaming News
Me and my buddies picked up PGA Tour 2k21 after getting hooked on GTA's golfing and it was great. Don't think I feel the need for this though, especially with all the golfing drama irl -
Ubisoft is definitely up there for the least, Remove microtransactions and season passes and get back to making a solid game that works day 1. BUt that's how UBI soft is like

Game plots with bad stories but great climaxes?
Empire replied to NightmareFarm's topic in Gaming Forum
Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic is a far better written Star Wars story than any of the movies except possibly Empire Strikes Back. -
It depends on the game. In a game that's more gameplay than story and where there isn't too much focus on dialogues I don't mind it at all. Skyrim's approach is - altough it takes getting used to - still bearable for a game with lots of story because your character still 'talks', it's just not voiced. Other times it's just hilariously bad like in the newer FarCry's where you have constant dialogue with lots of story but your character is completely silent. Everyone talks in a way that doesn't require a reply from you which is just off and not how conversations work. It's like every npc in the game knows that guy who never talks a word but does everything you ask him to do without questions.

This has always been true, it's just super hard to remove the idea from esports because grinding is what got every player to where they are now. Asking them to change what worked forever, especially since the initial change will likely result in a drop in perceived skill, is super tough. It probably won't change until we have more robust youth esports programs that teach kids how to properly practice at a young age

I like you to try and do that then 😛 Drag that sexy looking tounge over hahaha I do things realism and programs like https://navigraph.com/ I do need, the downside with xbox users is that all mods and addons are not there for them 😞

There used to be one company called Reflexive Arcade. They made awesome little games, especially one called Tree of Life. They made games similar to Zuma too. Unfortunately the company went bankrupt when online gam

How do you feel about the concept of AI gaming
Empire replied to NightmareFarm's topic in Gaming Forum
One big thing is that better AI is not always more fun. For the game I'm working on, we did a huge AI overhaul. As part of that we tested 3-4 flavors of new AI code. One of them was this super advanced almost human like AI. It was amazingly hard, enemies would flank you efficiently, they'd hide from you and sneak attack, they'd pick up weapons off the ground, they'd communicate with each other, at one point I thought they were just fucking with me and we were secretly playing multiplayer. -
Are esports players underpaid?
Empire replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Esports & Competitive Gaming
They’re definitely overpaid for how much viewership CoD gets. I mean for Christ’s sake look how dead Cod is on twitch when there isn’t an event. The huge salaries in eSports are all subsidized by the venture capitalist money that is blindly dumped into orgs and the large prize pools are all subsidized by Activision -
Does anyone know a successful esports player well?
Empire replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Esports & Competitive Gaming
I have not meet or been near a players in my time but I can say I have seen them walking down the street once near a event. They are wearing there team colours and whatnot. I can't tell who they are or playing at the time. But they are seems to be walking for there break at the time with people and there cameras behind them -
Not all are machines, only the so called big dinosaurs machines, that's what they look like then again I might be wrong as they are just there one time or not.
-
Well seems that you are not hehehe, I stop doing the first long time ago anyway
-
Yes, they are server based, FIveM servers to your own servers with FivePD on them. They are not linked in anyway regards GTA online servers. With those servers you can add mods or make your own to be added or whatnot.
