Politics or trying to score points from certain people doesn’t belong in gaming, ghost of Tsushima and FF7R were done perfectly without it, they only did their jobs when creating those games as in creating a game that players can play and enjoy. Sadly it’s not just on the devs or publishers I mostly blame the player base in most cases, since they don’t want gaming to be fun for everyone anymore only a certain few with a specific mindset.

Keeping track of minor character/quest information in RPGs
Empire replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
Depends on the RPG. If it's Bethesda, I don't. I just log back in and do whatever I feel like doing. Talk to some people, kill some stuff, get some loot, do some quests. Remember what I was doing? Who gives a shit? I wanna do what I feel like doing now. Most of the time I just write it down on a notepad or something so I remember, but that's a habit I have regardless of which game type it is since I tend to be playing through lots of games at once. When it's a focused narrative, I usually start over from the beginning. -
What game broke you of completing all side quests?
Empire replied to harleyqbx's topic in Gaming Forum
I loved the side quests in Final Fantasy IX. The Chocobo Treasure Hunting was extremely fun and finding the best weapons for all charaters was very engaging as well. They delivered something very different from the main story without overshadowing it. In Oblivion, the side-quests were actually much better than the main story. The Dark Brotherhood and the Thieves' Guild were much more fun than closing Oblivion gates. -
Did you ever tally your win-loss record against people?
Empire replied to Kane99's topic in Esports & Competitive Gaming
I like to win and also love to see teams winning that I like, however I do not care if I loose, end of the day it's just a game too me and winning and losing is fine 🙂 And with that I do not tally up. Not like I would get payments or whatnot from those winnings, if so that would be a full time job hahaha -
Tons of games means more people would join the network as you have a collection of all games that you can play uner the one price. I mean most people can not afford to spend $50 on a single game and if you times it by five more games that leads up to allot of cash. Even that you own them for life 😜
-
End of the day what do you benifit from it? Nothing really right. Uless you get money or another gamer for doing it 😛 that's epic heheheheh Anyway people love doing it and others not

Red Dead Redemption 2 bug means even NPCs are leaving Red Dead Online
Empire replied to Kane99's topic in Gaming News
It's not as famous as to GTA Online, seems that far less people and the numbers are gong down and I see them not going to keep it online as they as just not making money 😛 I mean I rather just get FIveRed going, it's a mod that allows you to be a cop 😛 on a private server based. -
Unsurprisingly, despite being released so long ago, the 1060 still holds the top spot at 7.8% percent, with the most popular recently released 3000 series coming in at a pitiful 1.8 percent. The number is almost the same as it was a year ago, which is telling given that the majority of gamers haven't had access to the newest 3000 series for (more than) a year now. Therefore, one can only assume that everything went to cryptocurrency or rotted in the market for scalpers, which appears to be Nvidia's replacement for gamers.

It's always going to keep on changing and at times you can not keep up with the latest goods. Most of the time your new hardware will last you for five to ten years anyway and be able to run games on high, I mean what do you really need and not need? As long as you are happy of what you got and save up for the next upgrade LOL Get the i9 then 😛 pay more, yet even WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY BETTER 😛 but then it's cost isn't it.
-
Wounder what will give up first, the people or the system 😛 I was curious what the price would be, yet might depend on country too. However, $25 a month sounds like a reasonable assumption. Right now ultimate in UK is about $13.30 a month based on a euro 12.99 costs I found googling . So based on that, might be less or more. I can see it going up to $29 per month in US. I hope it's on. $19 a month but we will see.

What did you learn about yourself playing MMOs?
Empire replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
One thing the most recent MMORPGs taught me is that the person with the most money wins. Just like in RL. -
You don't build MMORPGs to please a community. You build an MMORPG to create a world and people will hopefully come to enjoy it with you. Outside of that the other important point is to have a relatively smooth launch. There isn't anything faster that will doom a game, than having a month of instability after release.

Yes and no. It depends on the game, really. In general, they can and do, but in specific, different people will respond differently to different stimuli. For instance, in World of Warcraft, it will actually induce stress with its skinnerian design principles focused on repetitive, time-consuming grinds. I've damn-near had a panic attack running raids in that game, that's how stress inducing it is (needless to say, I don't play that game much once I hit max level on any character) MSFS is very relaxing but at times that can do both, stress and not stressing out. Yet Twitch streaming also can stress anyone out with chat talking.

Is it easier for you to be responsible in games than IRL?
Empire replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
There are many more productive things that I could/should be doing rather than gaming. I should also be writing the next great american novel, climbing mount everest, volunteering at a soup kitchen, and the list goes on, Yet I do not think that being responsible in games. You end up dead and spawning again. That can not happen in realife. -
Achievements don't fuss me one bit, it feels great to received them however end of the day it's just a image 😛I can spend hours and months working my numbnuts off to earn that achievement and for what, wasted my life. I rather earn achievements that I know that I'm going to benefit from it you know. For GTAIV, I have all of the achievements for it 😛 YEAH BABY.

John Cena looking for more ways to be involved in Fortnite
Empire replied to DC's topic in Gaming News
There be reddit threads or maybe a blog about that, regards how much he gets paid to show his face on the game and not do nothing 😛 Expecting allot if you rhink about it. -
Not all, I say those that want power over everything and on there people. By doing what hey are doing they are always pooping their own country as to regards to companies not going to do business and profit also means no VAT/TAx income for that

How much training do esports players do?
Empire replied to Kane99's topic in Esports & Competitive Gaming
Well, I say anywhere from 3-6 hours. Longer on weekends. Treat it like a job and have set hours. I'd also recommend having a "fun, non-competitive" game outside of the game(s) you're preparing for to wind down. When I was competitive in CS & SC in the 2000s, Diablo was my come down game. Remember, Football players don't go home and relax by playing more football lol. I say the best tend to be hand picked 🙂 -
Have you ever played against a famous esports player?
Empire replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Esports & Competitive Gaming
I do not think so, then again we play so many differnt games at times I Have no idea if I have or not 😛 Just think playing CSGO and you are playing with one of the team members and you have not got a clue 😛 But as of right now for me, I think it's a big no -
How many players can be on an esports team?
Empire replied to Kane99's topic in Esports & Competitive Gaming
Teams still come together, it just happens slower over multiple seasons in the new model. Even with the 2/3 rules, a huge number of roster changes happen, and in a season or two we will have teams that are technically still the same team as a group that was in RLCS before, but has only 1 or none of the same players. For example, Rogue started as Atelier, who consisted of Sizz, Matt and Turtle, and they competed under the name Rogue at S3 lan. Rogue is still in RLCS now, but Sizz is the only remaining player from that team. -
Red Dead Redemption 2 bug means even NPCs are leaving Red Dead Online
Empire replied to Kane99's topic in Gaming News
I was going to get RDR2 and yet been delaying it as I'm waiting the the price to be right, with all this online crap going and how it's turning into, I do not think that I will get it now 😛 unless you are only into the story plot as in Single-Player or do FiveRed. -
I could see them adding the GTA V version of San Andreas to the west and a remastered GTA IV Liberty City to the north, since they are already made it would be fairly easy to add them. Maybe eventually even add modern versions of San Fierro and Las Venturas as full expansions. Who knows. then again Given their strong history of DLC with RDR2 and GTAV, I have all the optimism in the world that these locations will add to the campaign and SP play and not be evidence of the transition to a live service game.

It's a control issue. They want to maintain control in an infantile effort to protect their youth. US went through something similar in the 80s, but culturally we overcame the hysteria. It's the social community and commentary that they want to block. In China and Steam works fine, even without a VPN it seems. However, the workshop is not available unless they use VPN to access Steam.

John Cena looking for more ways to be involved in Fortnite
Empire replied to DC's topic in Gaming News
Crazy how fortnite became this worldwide phenomenon that collabs with everything under the sun and is still absolutely kicking in playerbase numbers. End of the day does he get payed to do nothing as he's there in the game 😛 -
It seems like people are simply arguing about semantics. I personally wouldnt call Nade a pro athlete. I'd call him a pro gamer but again, semantics. If they need to be classified as athletes for some reason that benefits them, I have zero problem with it.
