Microsoft flight simulator or in any cases any flight sim with realife weather engines, do not have to use realife but can make your own weather up using the built-in weather system. Fly in any weather from the good and the bad π Can't get any better then that, it's the best weather system in a simulator that you only can get π

What game would be the worst to live in if you're not a main character?
Empire replied to DC's topic in Gaming Forum
Rage one and two, I have brought both and only played the frist game, but I must say if you aren't a main character then it's hell if you are in that world of that game XD. Loved the style and the game feel, it's like borderland's and fallout child all in id-style. It seemed to be low budget at the time but new one could be a big game, I've only heard from a few close friends that they weren't impressed. But that tells me, it makes sense for BethSoft to promote the hell out of a reboot/sequel. The original Rage is not going to sell itself. They'll have to overhaul all marketing to really show off whatever they've done to make the game look great. -
What's a game you should like but just find too mundane/bad
Empire replied to DC's topic in Gaming Forum
Gears of War 3. I was playing couch coop with my brother and during one of the missions I realized I was pulling a lot of the weight in the fights. My brother had fallen asleep. I was so bored anyway we never finished. Haven't touched the series since and it looks like that was a good call. Also Horizon. I talked about this earlier but that game is incredibly boring to me. The only thing that isn't is the view. -
Silly completionist things you did as a gaming newbie

Played the game is a weired way π I play as they are, the only time when I got crazy that with Halo the first game. I have done this so many times that one day I used a cheat software that allows you to skip and pause and use god mod, anyway I always keep killing myself and others around me as there is a 30secs death roll, and it's funny to see that and different ways of seeing your death. -
I do not have a favourite, in fect that I brought all DLCs for the Hunter Call of the Wild and same for ETS/ATS in regards to that π I gotta say I love the new map they they realse for COTW it's epic π since I do flight sims, I spent good amount of it regards DLCs that aren't really DLCs XD more like addons and whatnot.

I didn't like old pewds that much. At least until like 2016 I really couldn't get used to his videos because he was just being kinda obnoxious. But at a certain point in 2016 his content started getting better. In 2021 though those tiktok videos kinda set the bar low so I feel like thats why his viewership dropped as well recently. Otherwise before that he'd be racking nearing 10 million views regularly

Do you try to avoid a high civilian death toll?
Empire replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
Depends on the game and what the missions is about, If you playing as a cop and killing people for the sake of it then you end up pooping yourself in the game. GTA in my case you can do whatever you want and just have fun. Games like police simulator and flashing lights, can't just shoot and kill and drive them over like you can do in GTA π Other then Roleplaying in GTA -
Probably Super Metroid. The controls are a little funky by modern standards, but it's amazing how fresh most of the game feels even now. Obviously a massively influential game on the incredibly popular metroidvania genre. Chrono Trigger is a close second. I firmly believe that CT is timeless (ironically?) and if it were released today it would still be hailed as a masterpiece.

Games you found more fun after you knew you could beat them?
Empire replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
Whats the point in playing a game to then not complete it? That doesn't seem to make sense to me because it means you don't finish the story of the game. I complete every game I play because I like seeing how it ends. I also go on to play through it a further 1, 2 or 3 times on different difficulties. GTA for one and also red dead... -
Nope, some great mad onlone ,ate gifted thuis as a joke and we all end up gifting this game to eath other π none of us ended up not playing i at all. I never even installed it.

Well, all I can say whout telling my age that on that day there had been an two-day Battle of Mogadishu began during the Somali Civil War, killing 19 Americans and between 200 and 300 Somalis. Known as the Battle of Mogadishu

It's fairly extraordinary, but not exactly unprecedented. The odd thing here is how long he has hung in for in spite of the writing being on the wall for him for at least the last year. British Prime Ministers are frequently forced from office before the end of their term. Thatcher, Cameron and May all left under similar circumstances. Blair essentially retired part way through his last term. And that's just in the last 30 years or so. In fact, leaving office in a general election is the exception rather than the norm.

Hopping on the Bethesda train. The only thing I don't like about their games is that you out-level the game too quickly. They make these fantastic, gigantic, detailed, free-roam worlds that can be played for hundreds of hours but you have the best gear and can one shot 90% of enemies when you're just a couple of dozen hours into the game. Aside from that I absolutely adore the worlds they create.

Walking the dead series games, I end up not even getting the first game complated XD And there are so many of them. Another is Battlefields, end up not buying every single game that is out there.

What games are the hardest to learn/get into as a newbie?
Empire replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
FPS games are fast learning games to get into. I would ahve to say flying related content in flight sims. I been into flying for six long years now for none stop, and learning to fly any type of aircraft that is high level systems -
How long till they really ban them again... Really.. Look at this

I prefer manually fine tuning outstanding game audio (increasing dialogue gain and reducing sudden sounds). It gives me greater control and pinpoint accuracy. Of course, it requires more effort and time. After i make cuts, i use a crossfade over the audio cuts to make the volume rise and fall smoother. I own a GoXLR soooooo

In my time back in the 90s till now with his new show on Netflix is Rowan Atkinson π I did like his standup shows

Step back and stop having a god damn say, It's just fine to be wrong about things. And in that case you don't "win"βbut that's okay, because nobody wins or loses anyway. Just have a discussion with someone, and get ready to say, "hmm, that's a good point" or "yeah, I guess I hadn't thought about it that way."

Can be anything, even from those days of 9/11 π really thinking about exactly how itfelt the moment first saw the 2nd airplane hit the world trade center, it makes me feel the same way. Like that welling of emotion, almost really teary eyed feeling..but later when the buildings fell just pure madness and by the afternoon just watching the smoke rise was brutal.

Hmmm. I love so many of them a lot but right now imma say Robin. She is really smart and witty and I just loved her personality. I also live what she contributes to the plot and how she pretty much single handedly cracked the Russian code. Sheβs also a part of my favorite season 3 team the Scoops team. Sheβs really pretty too and overall a baddie.

I just made that up, but I have had or said that before π Or try saying that to a person that you just meet π
