Why the Last of Us Nick Offerman Will Never Play Video Games Again
Empire replied to Kane99's topic in Gaming News
I wish I could say I was pumped for the Last of Us tv show at all. What could it do or say (let alone better) that the game didn't already? On top of that, there was just a remake for ps5, if I wanted to experience the story again, I'd just play that. -
What do you think is the worst pay to win video game?
Empire replied to Shortie's topic in Video Games
Pretty much any game that sells anything besides skins. But for most recent disgust for me is netmarble marvel future revolution they don't even try and hide the whale pandering . -
That's why I hate the Steam Deck and their shills I'd much rather support those other brands, like Aya Neo, GPD, OneNetbook, etc. They're the ones that Kickstarted this new generation handheld revolution, and a big company just decided to cannibalize the industry with their overhyped, overrated product. But since it's steam and it's cheap, people are buying it like hot cakes. I'm glad the other players in this industry survived, and I hope there's longevity in their success.

Will be like payday 2, game crash, no support, but tons of paid DLC - Yet still no idea if it's going to be true or not as the point of time
-
Yes and no, depanding what you are doing or wanted to do. OC allows me to get to 5.1ghz that being said some of the games do not like it. Another is stable to be able to run the system as stable as you can.

Having the time to do it now, then again I use MSFS2020 every day of my life hahahahaha

I think it depends on how much of the goodwill they can get back with updates and some quality DLC expansions. Now that the original uproar has died down, some positive feedback is starting to filter through.

Microsoft to raise prices of Xbox Series X|S in Japan
Empire replied to Kane99's topic in Gaming News
UK price increase highly likely incoming, Sony did so last year after raising prices in Japan. I understand why they are doing it but its always interesting seeing a trillion dollar company raise prices but of course you dont become one by being cheap. -
Sellers on eBay are now making NSFW custom game covers 👀
Empire replied to Kane99's topic in Gaming News
Man they’ve sold a lot too. “Listing more and more each day”. Totally not cool to steal someone’s work and turn a profit. I’ve been wanting to get a case for Pokémon Blue off Etsy but now I’m worried that it could be stolen artwork. -
Spider-Man 2 Coming spring 2023 according to ad on ESPN
Empire replied to Kane99's topic in Gaming News
Insomniac seem to be breaking every rule of current game development. You always hear about AAA games taking 5+ years to create and needs hundreds of people each game and all that. Here they are making 2 brand new AAA games in the first few years of a new console, while developing a third that is a brand new IP while also remastering their older stuff and recently released Miles Morales as well. It's bonkers the production they are able to put out and keep the quality so high -
Why doesn't Nintendo not make more Wario and Waluigi games?
Empire replied to Kane99's topic in Gaming Forum
Yeah, they lack ideas for him, but also he just isn't a household name like Mario, so any game will sell worse simply for starring and being named after him. Occasionally something does alright without Mario’s name, like Luigi's Mansion, but often it goes the way of Super Princess Peach. They should incorporate him into a new Wario Land style game. -
What video game mascot is the best out of them all?
Empire replied to Kane99's topic in Gaming Forum
I'm convince that Sonis is the greatest mascot of anything ever, since afaict he's the only mascot that sustain a franchise via his image alone. Most franchises probably can't weather a Sonic 06. Hell, Mario probably couldn't survive a Sonic 06. Everyone else just vanishes off when their franchise got less and less popular. Sonic survived like 5 Sonic 06, and kept the franchise alive by himself. -
Have you ever attempted to give your console a paintjob?
Empire replied to Kane99's topic in Gaming Forum
I have not even thought about given anything tech wize any paint job 😜 I mean you can get a PC case and paint it yourself to whatever you wanted it to be, as long as it does not affect the cooling and whatnot. But I have not really did anything like that. -
Really hyped for this one. I've been wanting to play PD2 since I was a kid, and I just got the game a few days ago. I just hope they don't riddle this next one with too many DLCs.

Would drive me crazy after awhile hahahahahahha Yet fun for everyone
-
Still people playing it but the game is old, I mean it's not been edited or updated for awhile and whatnot. Does not need it needs a new game, but add more content

I think it's really interesting that Blizzard made the decision to let players store their data locally, by the sound of it. If thats the case, they've opened themselves up to players modifying the data to give themselves an advantage when WoW comes back. I imagine Blizz encoded and/or encrypted the data, but even still, someone dedicated enough can figure it out. Not to mention hasty measures such as these are notoriously insecure and relatively easy to crack.

Fox News is ANGRY at Gamers for the DUMBEST Reason
Empire replied to The Blackangel's topic in Gaming News
This will literally save you money on your bills! It's literally an improvement for all consumers of the product, right-wingers are delusional. -
I have not, in fact I was not even aware it's was on ;P It's been over 2 years since the current gen launched and Xbox just isn't delivering many interesting games. I can think of only a handful of major releases. I haven't been excited about many projects either. Pentiment and Grounded was about it for me. Hi-Fi Rush seems fresh. Redfall might be cool, but could just be a flop. Idk you'd think their output would be marginally better considering they gobbled up so many studios in the past couple years.

When do you think we'll see the very first game made via AI?
Empire replied to Kane99's topic in Video Games
I think designing a game, same as creating art, requires a certain idea and creativity that AI isn't really capable of doing. What we have now is AI collecting and detecting prompts to create images, I'd be more interested in a similar experience with game development, not design. Think of how much coding and programming is needed to create a game, those parts, since they logic based, could probably be created by AI. -
i kinda just want watch dogs legion but set in a more accurate sf lmao...but mostly just cuz i enjoyed playing as a clan kelley member and i live in sf (they deadass erased my neighborhood/only kept in the commercial stuff), so i'd wanna be able to play as an auntie shu boy fighting against...umeni zulu i guess lol but more importantly i do wonder where ubisoft will take its franchise next

MAybe as it's a BAD game. The only thing I would say is "bad" is the gunplay (using a controller). The lock on is really spotty and can be very frustrating. Also, in spite of regenerating health, it only takes a few shots short range to kill you, which can also be very annoying and lead to a lot of repetition in certain areas. That said, the melee combat is fun and the humor is good, if you enjoy the character that much you'll definitely enjoy the game.

For what it's worth, PDTH still has active players. Most times I get on it, I can find a lobby. PDTH is quite a different experience from PD2, so perhaps that explains it. Maybe if PD3 in turn offered a different experience from PD2, it too will continue to have a fairly active community.
