Every major release will now have a fake initial release date followed by a more plausible second release date further out. Initial release dates are all bogus now.

That's great news, even though UE5 isn't officially marketed as "stable" right now it's getting more and more adopted by devs (me inclusive!). It's just a shame the tech demo won't release for PC, I wonder if they're prioritizing the consoles to tune UE5 since they already know high-end PCs will definitely run a demo like this without issues. Would make the most sense to me at least (unless it's because of a deal with the console people or so...).

Maybe if I was a famous twitch streamer I be in a Murseum 😛

Post Trauma - A game that looks to be inspired by Silent Hill
Empire replied to Kane99's topic in Video Games
Out of all the "Silent Hill inspired" games, This one actually looks the most promising. Not a fan of the two vertical lines on the screen though, it's very distracting. The filter as a whole, however, looks great when an enemy is around. Some improvements to their animations, especially the main character, would be amazing as well. -
Great im hanging the gloves up from my mowing business and gunna live the life virtually now ...thanks Microsoft your the best for knowing what us gamers need

Honestly when the game first came out. I thought that mechanic was gonna turn everybody off, I did not realize how out touch i am now since every kid loves minecraft and that translated wonderfully for them. Not intersted anyway, It's dying

All my games aren't many on hard disc copy and on that note it's all on steam or epic 😛

Personally I wouldn't say that's all that true, although it definitely can be. In a case where the fans want a remaster, it's an easy way to please the fans and make a little money, and everyone's happy. For example, anyone who plays destiny 2 will say they want a pc port remastered or not, edition of destiny 1. But due to the fact that it would basically destroy destiny 2's fanbase is what's stopping it from happening.

So cooled christmas gift from them right, Definitely give Stardew Valley a shot if you haven't played it yet. It's fantastic.

I got a gamepass trial and honestly, it's pretty great. Lots of actually good and current games. I can go play Forza 5 right now and it literally just came out. If you're a PC gamer who has an Xbox, it's a no brainer.

I think it’s not needed, I had my Redmi for almost a year now and it never gets dropped. It has a good case though. The phone is kept in a pocket without keys, a habit I made, so I never worry about scratches.

It can be surprising how much difference I/O for the VM can make. I had a job where it was to port a big build system to Windows. So lots of I/O. Before sticking the VM on USB3 drive, the host Debian system was brought to its knees by lack of I/O when Windows was building.

Most do not anymore, as long as the game is out and they getting the money

Ea wants profit. They think if they just smash all the latest trends together into 1 game the players will love it. They dont care about bf veterans anymore since a new player base accustomed to other battle royals will buy more skins and other useless cosmetics from the shop. Every design and balance decision was done to monetize it later to its fullest. Great gaming franchices go to shit every time the decisions are made by rich shareholders that never touched a game instead of invested developers.

Wished they made a switch lite with removable joycons that retains its size and even if it has no tv mode. There is still a lot of us who just want to play it portable mode without fearing of joy con drift and can simply buy a new joycon without taking it apart or find technicians of it

All we need now to have fun with this 😛

It may be against the law for scalpers to use bots soon
Empire replied to Kane99's topic in Gaming News
There's an ancillary benefit to this law. Preventing scalpers from buying up all the stock disincentivizes businesses from requiring paid memberships just to have a chance at buying a product. Paying for the right to have a chance to buy a product at regular price is VERY anti-consumer. -
Are there any games you don't download patches/updates for?
Empire replied to Kane99's topic in Gaming Forum
Most games on steam with updates patches are like that, You do not need to install a full game anymore. MSFS2020 have updates each month. -
Do you process games in your subconscious before executing your strategy?
Empire replied to Heatman's topic in Gaming Forum
Back when I used to play I used to go over consciously, then at some point it became subconsciously, the list from Andrew Soltis's "The Inner Game of Chess", which recommended what to calculate on your move and on your opponent's. Then, I added one thing to the list I picked up from some other book. -
How long should PS4 controller expected to last before it dies off?
Empire replied to Heatman's topic in Gaming Forum
I get about 3-4 hours from a full charge. It's pretty bad, and worse yet is the short little USB cable they give you to charge it. I had to buy a 15 foot cable just to play while it charges. Would love to get a third party alternative that uses AA. -
Developers or publishers with which you have a love-hate relationship?
Empire replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
Ea gets a lot of shit but battlefield 1 is amazing and plants vs zombies garden warfare has been the biggest surprise this gen for me. Battlefield 2049 however is just another story. Then there is Bethesda. Sure they make skyrim on every platform but so what? I want skyrim vr, I wanted a portable skyrim. Who cares how many platforms it’s for, the more the better? It’s some porting studio that does it anyway. -
Indeed, I have over 50 hours in the game that I played with my own people or just talk in game with your squad. Once you find your perfect server that you like and start meeting people it's all good. I'm always playing on the same server and always see the same group of players and we always say Ohh You Again, what's up. One time we did not kill each other as we are talking about things as we are onthe opposite side. End of the day it comes at the best and the worse.

ALready are if you think about it from normal people that made mods for it 😛 But it's still very unstable game even when at release.
