What do you find most relaxing, Fallout or Elder Scrolls?
Empire replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
Oblivion was my first real experience of these kinds of games, and I love the world of Tamriel. So it has to be TES for me. Fallout is fantastic, of course. I love that world, too, and always look forward to new games in the series. I suspect most of us here will feel like this. We might have our favorite but we love both. -
I like Varric because he only ever really has one "crisis" and it's understandable given the circumstances. Other than that, I never need to babysit him, and he doesn't start bitching at me every time I side with the mages or templars, etc.

Red Dead Redemption fans - What do you want next?
Empire replied to The Blackangel's topic in Video Games
Haven't even played first or second - cost is still high as we speak. Next - Bundle them and cheap cost 😛 -
Forza has a really deep vinyl editor, and it can be argued that it is better than NFS (coming for a life long NFS fan). The downside to Forza's editor, though, is that if you use ANY DECAL that is not provided to you by default then you cannot share you design. It honestly takes away a bit of the joy for me in designing a livery since I know no one else will see it.

What deals are you hoping for this Black Friday/Cyber Monday?
Empire replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
Deals are crap anyway, I say this eacry year that before the long weekend sales they put all the prices up then they drop them down real good. What are you really saving though? Need to save up for my February spending, have to renew things. If I see a game that I want that's VERY VERY low good deal them maybe. -
Do hints break your immersion or fun in any way?
Empire replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
I always turn off opportunities when I FIRST play a mission. After that? I turn them on in order to complete achievements / trophies. Story first then rest later I see 🙂 -
All time favorite open world game followers (from any game)?
Empire replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
Open surviving and thriving world adventure games is my cup of tea, even with MP point of view. Seen New world being like that, never played the game or own it but has that so called companions. Outer worlds has a very rich companion system and they all have very deep backstories it’s really good if you are in it for the companions. If you haven't played FO4 or DA:I yet, go for their better versions first. FO:NV and Dragon Age Origins. They may have older graphics but are higher tier in game quality. -
What is the most important factor that determines game quality to you?
Empire replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
Depends of the game. In a FPS, constant 60fps is extremely important. CSGO, you want to get it High and best FPSas much as you can in that based game. MSFS2020 FPS is not importnant and so as long as you are locked and stable at 35 FPS. In first-person games, I want at least 100 FPS (have 144HZ monitor), but possibly 144fps, then graphics. In TP and any other type of games I'm okay with 60FPS and then the best graphics I can get. Also in multiplayer games FPS more important than Graphics, and in single games, I'm less strict on fps numbers in favour of graphs. -
Do you play video games together with your children/relatives?
Empire replied to Justin11's topic in Gaming Forum
Most games that I tend to get into are PC/digital based games and people/family around me are not into or do they do how to work on PCs. It's always been myself. Then again it's a good thing as you can do what you want and whenever 🙂 -
Any Portal games for sure 🙂

Games that incorporate creating art as the player
Empire replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
Video games are the single most difficult media to create. A frame of a game could be as amazing as any painting, the story as amazing as any book, and a cut scene as amazing as any film. Video game's are art because we find beauty in their existence. -
I actually love puzzles if they are well designed, it's just that usually they are not. 'Find the stupidly small switch hidden in some obscure corner of the level to open a hidden door in some other obscure corner". Or your brain is simply too small to solve them and you just want to mindlessly walk around the game while nothing poses a challenge like you're playing some stupid mobile game.

I myself have free account and once in the blue moon I do use it if I have low data and to use it up on my phone. But never been doing that for months now.

Cast your vote on your favourite video game company (s)
Empire replied to Justin11's topic in Gaming Forum
Depends what games you like I guess. 🤣 But, Blizzard north, not to be confused with activision tainted blizzard, You know the guys behind starcraft/broodwar, warcraft1/2/3, and diablo1/2/lod. You know the people that made games because they loved gaming not the new corporate shills trying to microtransaction you to death. -
Being able to examine items in your inventory
Empire replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
One thing that all have in common in any game, aren't being organised or at least easy more organised 🙂 rather then not drag and place anywhere. I like organised. DayZ is bad for that -
Which of the console/device are you playing games currently on?
Empire replied to Justin11's topic in Gaming Forum
Also been a PC gamer, since the very start. PCs gives you more power and options over anything. Able to max out your graphics far more then any other console. streaming is easy and can do task while gaming 😛 -
Out of all the series, I would say GTAIV 🙂 even gta 4 episodes from liberty city. Spent far more in the story and completing it and getting all achievements. Yes also complated GTAV story from start to finnsh.

What games would you give a perfect score as a reviewer?
Empire replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
Difference with FSX or even P3D as it's same code and same engine that I spent well over $1500 on paid scenery to make it far good, chnage the sim around, spent well good. Even with other addons. -
Well, I have the game (Got it for free) however never did played it 😞 ANd so I can't really say about that. List are what I played and are crap 😛 BF1 is my go to game as that's the best - Then again 2042 is another story that we will see later

If an intruder came into your home how would you react?
Empire replied to Katt's topic in General Chat
Well, have not had that in my life before and so I would or have no idea how I would able to do it for the first time experiences. I would just get down to wear he or she is and deal with them with some item in my hand 😜 MAybe take them hostage 😛 If they ahve a gun, it's a differnt matter then. If it was a Female, then maybe ask her out for a date -
All of Outer Wilds. Beautifully designed game, makes you pay attention, take note of your surroundings, remember key pieces, and think critically on how these things all fit together. Or if you’re a dummy like me, spend 25 (still enjoyable) hours being completely lost, only to look up a guide, only to realize you weren’t anywhere close to the solution lmao

I nominate EA for the disappointment lifetime achievement award. Sim City ME: Andromeda Battlefront II Anthem Crysis 2 Just that they are right, in the passed. Anyone agree?

What could be done to improve open world gaming?
Empire replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
Developers need to stop viewing side quests as additional task lists or things to do. They need to bake these activities into the exploration and discovery of the world. It’s already started to happen a bit and you can see the trend is there, it’s just hard to do while also having variety. The thing is the word itself “side quest” has come to imply it’s of lesser or secondary quality than the main stuff which means it’s always going to feel like filler if that’s the way it’s approached. -
I'm pretty into technology but the prices has been jacking up over the years, don't want to let some phone or computer eat a big chunk of my bills, and so I went with the Redmi Note 10 pro - What you get for the money is GOOD 🙂 I'm those people that does not spend $800 ot $1500 for a phone, crazy when you can get one for under £300
