  1. If I'm sick, I'm not sure if I'm playing a video game.....especially if I'm really, really sick. I'm normally staying in bed if I'm too sick and I'm trying to sleep it off.
  2. Layers of Fear: Legacy I figured that would have made a good movie or tv show. It wouldn't have surprised me if that was based off of a movie or tv show.
  3. Once I've finished the main storyline, I'll go back and finish any side quests that I haven't completed already.
  4. I wouldn't have mind seeing a midnight release party for Hogwarts Legacy. But then again, I probably would have taken vacation time if I had attended one for this game.
  5. Hogwarts Legacy This game lets you explore Hogwarts a lot more in depth. We get to see bits and pieces of Hogwarts during the movies but this game lets you see a lot more of the school and grounds, even if it's not necessarily during the time of Harry and his friends.
  6. Well, I figure that if you play a longer game then you get more of your money's worth. With games costing at least $50 or $60 these days, who wants to play a game that's not going to last that long.
  7. Have you ever thought of playing video games professionally? Why or why not?
  8. I don't know if you've heard of the Twisted Metal series. I remember playing the first game on the PS1. It's the only one in the series that I like is the first one.
  9. Been playing Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door today on my Switch (have the day off from work today). I've just finished Chapter 3 in Glitzville today. My Switch is currently charging though so I thought I'd give it a rest for a minute.
  10. I'm looking forward to the Switch 2 or whatever the next gen console will be from Nintendo. I'm not sure how they will be able to build on the current Switch or what they can do better. Better graphics maybe but other than that, I'm not sure how you could improve upon that specific console. It is both a home console and a handheld at the same time.
  11. In an open world RPG like Hogwarts Legacy, you have the ability to make your own choices in certain situations. I like having the ability to do that when playing a game like that. It makes for a better experience, in my opinion, you can make at least some choices in what your character does.
  12. I don't know that I found any unsolved mysteries when I was playing Hogwarts Legacy last year (or none that I could think of anyway).
  13. When it came to me playing Hogwarts Legacy last year when that game came out, I would say yes. Because you can create your own avatar/character and make it look like yourself. Because mine would always look like me (I might have changed up the hair styles from time to time), it would be easier for me to empathize with my character more.
  14. This game looks interesting. I can't say that it reminds me of any other game, that I can think of. I'm not sure if I would play this game.....I'm kind of on the fence about it.
  15. Same here for me. I generally will play on my days off (provided I don't have to be anywhere or I don't have to run any errands). When I get home from work, I generally have to make dinner and wash the dishes after dinner is over. Then I have to make sure I've showered and dried my hair afterwards. Once that's done, then I can play some games but I have to watch the time if I have to go to work the next day.
  16. Has gaming had any affect on your life, whether negative or positive? If show, how has it affected you life?
  17. What is your drink/snack of choice when playing a video game? I'm a big fan of Baja Blast Mountain Dew. However, I try not to drink too much soda so I'll alternate some water and/or gatorade in there as well. As far as snacks go, I don't usually eat a lot of stuff while I'm gaming because I don't want to get a lot of gunk on the controller.
  18. Currently, yes. I just got Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door on the Switch (my husband got it for me as an early birthday present). It showed up right before I was going to have my days off for this week so I've been getting in some decent playing time. I am enjoying that game, don't get me wrong. But I don't know if I'm as hooked to this game as I was Hogwarts Legacy last year.
  19. The Sims I remember playing that as a kid when we still had the Super NES. Actually we still have that Super NES. I did have it for a while but it is currently with my younger brother. His son wanted to play it so I sent it off to his house.
  20. What's the most amount of time you've spent playing a video game at one go before you've stopped? For example...... When Hogwarts Legacy came out last year, I remember spending my entire days off playing that game. I would eat breakfast and take my morning medicine as soon as I got up. Once I did that, I immediately began playing and I would play for hours until my husband arrived home from work without realizing how much time I'd spent playing. It was then I would realize that I had to go to the restroom. I could play that game all day and not realize how much time had gone by.
  21. I'm kind of similar. If my husband and I aren't going on a trip somewhere, then usually I'll have a stay-cation where I stay home and just rest. I have to give myself a rest mentally and physically speaking.
  22. In addition to what I mentioned before, I would also like to have a more comfortable gaming chair to sit in while I'm sitting in front of the tv.
  23. WWE Crush Hour for the Nintendo GameCube. I don't know anyone else that played that game but me.
  24. I hope to buy Quidditch Champions as soon as it comes out (I believe release date is September 3rd of this year).
  25. Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door on the Nintendo Switch
