  1. I don't have a room dedicated to just my video games. I have my PS4 and Switch located in the spare bedroom where I keep my library. I have my Wii U and my husbands X-box 360 hooked up to the tv in the living room. I have my Wii and GameCube hooked up to the tv in the master bedroom. So my consoles are kind of spread out all over the house.
  2. I might if I have several days off in a row or if I'm on vacation. It all depends on my days off from work and if I have to do stuff on my days off.
  3. I think selling video games digitally is becoming more and more prominent now than they use to. I think that's because we have the ability to buy games digitally now where we didn't use to have that ability when I was a kid. It's possible but I don't know if it would go completely digital or not.
  4. As long as someone isn't doing anything illegal or doing anything to hurt your or your family, then who cares what a person is doing in their spare time? What business is it of yours in the first place? If they don't have a negative outcome on your life or the lives of your family, then why does it matter what they're doing in their spare time?
  5. I normally create myself or I do my best to replicate myself into my character.
  6. I think my all time favorite changed when Hogwarts Legacy came out last year. I think Hogwarts Legacy has become my all time favorite video game. Before that, I think my all time favorite game was Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door for the GameCube.
  7. Graphics are okay but I'm more interested in whether there will be enough games for me to play on that console. If there aren't enough games for me to play, then I won't bother buying that console to begin with. And at that point, it won't matter what the graphics are like because I'm not looking at them in the first place.
  8. My responsibilities......that is what keeps me from staying home all day. I could stay home all day and read or play video games. But I don't because I know I have to pay bills and it isn't fair to dump all that responsibility on my spouse.
  9. I don't get a console when it first comes out. I usually wait long enough for them to work any kinks out, if there are any, before I get a console.
  10. It probably took me longer than average to beat Hogwarts Legacy. But I don't mind on that one. I was playing that one because I enjoyed the world in general, not because I wanted to beat everyone else's time.
  11. I have 2 copies of Hogwarts Legacy. I first bought it for my PS4 and then I bought it again for my Nintendo Switch.
  12. I would say Super Mario Bros. 3 for the NES. I enjoyed the Mario games but that's the first one that I actually fell in love with.
  13. When I played Hogwarts Legacy, I've always kind of did the nice things or chose the nice way during the story line.
  14. Gaming hasn't taken center stage in my life either. There are some video games that I've enjoyed greatly but they've never taken over my life. It's just something that provides entertainment when I'm home.
  15. I understand that things are going to be more expensive these days compared to when I was a kid. When I was a kid, one parent could work while the other parent could stay at home. These days I don't think it's possible. Both parents have to go outside the home and work, and sometimes they have to more more than one job.
  16. Do you think there is a chance that video games will go away? Why or why not?
  17. How important is gaming in your life? Does gaming take center stage in your life? Why or why not?
  18. When Hogwarts Legacy came out last year, the only think that I found disappointing was the fact that we didn't get to play quidditch during the game and that part was left out.
  19. I agree with you. I especially look forward to it since we didn't get any actual quidditch in the Hogwarts Legacy game. I mean, you could still fly around on a broom during the game but there was no playing any quidditch at any point during the story.
  20. Hogwarts Legacy In this game, you can make choices that affect your in-game character. Those choices, I think, can tell me a lot about you as a person.
  21. I'm not sure I've had a certain game that has impacted my life. I know when Hogwarts Legacy came out last year, I had to make sure that I didn't spend so much of my time playing the game that I missed work. I figured the game would probably get taken away from me at some point if I skipped out on work to play it (especially if I did it again and again). So I made sure to keep going to work so that I didn't loose the ability to play the game. I figured playing the game some was better than not getting to play it at all.
  22. I remember when games use to cost around $25 to $30 when I was a kid. So paying $50 and higher for a video game now seems really expensive......or at least, it does to me.
  23. I have learned my initial typing skills in school as well. However I don't think I've learned to type fast through gaming. The games that I normally play don't normally require typing. I've kept up with my typing skills because I'm on the computer just enough to keep that going and not loose it. You know the old saying, "If you don't use it, you lose it."
  24. Hogwarts Legacy I can get on a broom and fly around. I can also interact with some of the beasts/animals that they have. There's a few things I can do that are kind of outside the usual storyline.....
  25. I can't say that it's affected my social life in any way. I enjoy video games but not to that degree. I can't really say I have much of social life to begin with. Normally I'll go to work and then I come home. I'm forced to socialize enough as it is at my job (forced to socialize with the general public anyway) so I'm usually done socializing by the time I get off work and I'm ready to go to my humble home by that point.
