  1. My PS4, I have two. The original controller I kind of broke it on accident. I played Hogwarts Legacy so much that some of the buttons don't really work too good anymore. So I ended up buying a second controller to replace the original controller that came with the console. My Switch has the original Joy-Con controller that came with it but I also have a separate wireless controller that I bought for it when I got Hogwart Legacy for the Switch.
  2. There are several games that I looked forward to but I don't think I have ever been disappointed by a game. Not that I remember anyway. I was scared that I was going to be disappointed with Hogwarts Legacy when it came out last year but I'm glad it wasn't a disappointment.
  3. Normally I don't. I didn't buy the DLC for Hogwarts Legacy and it's a good thing I didn't because they ended up releasing the DLC for free recently.
  4. Well, I normally play Mario games and Harry Potter games.......games that have a storyline to them. So probably RPG games, I guess? The only difference is when I play things like Mario Kart or something like that.
  5. When it comes to multiplayer games, I enjoyed playing Mario Kart with my brothers growing up. We've had a lot of run playing that game when we were kids.
  6. I don't normally play online games. Well, if the game has an online version or not, I don't normally play online. If I was playing online, I probably would. I agree that cheating takes all the fun out of it.
  7. I don't normally play scary games (mostly play Mario and Harry Potter games). There was a game that came out a couple of years ago that I was interested in getting but somehow it was forgotten until now. I just found it and it's "Layers of Fear: Legacy". I remember seeing the trailer for it and thought it was interesting. Now that I've rediscovered it......I might get the game.
  8. Yes. There have been times my hubby has bought me a video game as a gift for either my birthday or for Christmas. It depends on what game it is and when it comes out.
  9. I play video games because they have some form of entertainment value, not because I intent to make money off them. I don't know if I could still play video games for money. I don't wonder if they'd still be fun at that point.
  10. Probably any first person shooting game. I don't even know what popular games are from that particular genre of video games. I don't normally play first person shooter games. I normally play games that have a story line like the Harry Potter games or Mario games.
  11. When I was playing Hogwarts Legacy, or rather when I first started playing it, I would make sure to only play it on my days off. I was afraid that once I got started playing it that I wouldn't be able to stop. I've lost track of time when playing it on my days off so for the longest time, I only played it on my days off when I knew I didn't have to be anywhere.
  12. I started with the NES, the Nintendo Entertainment System. My parents got one when I was about 5 years old. They purchased it for the whole family to share.
  13. If it's the first time around, then yes. If I'm playing the game again, then I'll start skipping scenes unless it's a favorite part of mine.
  14. In my case the answer is no. I do play video games but I'm not so addicted to gaming that it controls my life. When I was a kid, my parents would also make me go outside to play or do other things. So I wasn't allowed to just play video games all the time. That may be why.....my parents never did let my life revolve around video games so my life doesn't revolve around it now.
  15. If a game is either too hard or too easy to beat. If it's too hard to beat then I'll get frustrated and won't pick it up again (and wind up not finishing it). If it's too easy to beat then I get mad that I beat it so easily and I'm a little mad that I paid that much money for a game that didn't last that long.
  16. I've never cosplayed as anyone......video game or not. If I did, I'd probably go as Peach or Daisy.
  17. My hubby has watched some of the games that I've played before in the past but he doesn't play a lot of video games. Unless it's Street Fighter or Mortal Kombat, he normally doesn't play video games.
  18. Do you think video games are expensive compared to how much they use to cost? Why or why not?
  19. I've always avoided spoilers. I want to enjoy the game on my own when I first play it. It is hard to avoid spoilers....especially when you know someone like I do that purposely looks up spoilers and he tells everyone within ear shot about it for some reason I don't understand.
  20. With Paper Mario The Thousand Year Door that just came out and Quidditch Champions going to come out in September, they've already completed my list for games that I wish they'd re-make or release again.
  21. I would be happier than a pig in slop if I could save my games manually. I hate having to wait for the game to save on it's own.
  22. I'm not normally doing other things besides gaming. I may or may not be listening to music in the background while I'm playing. Other than that, I'm not doing anything but concentrating on playing.
  23. I started around 5 years old. That was when my parents bought a NES with the first Mario Bros. game. I'm still into gaming now and I prefer Nintendo.
  24. A couple at the moment. I would like to get "Paper Mario The Thousand Year Door" which is already out. But I would like to get "Quidditch Champions" when it comes out on September 3rd.
  25. The last game I played was Hogwarts Legacy. I started out playing it on PS4 and then I played it on the Nintendo Switch.
