With the exception of the Virtual Boy and the Wii U, I have all the Nintendo consoles. NES, SNES, N64, Game Cube, Wii, Gameboy, GB Pocket, GB Color, GBA, GBASP, DS, 3DS, Switch. I also have a couple extensions like the Super Game Boy as well. And that's just the Nintendo systems I own. It doesn't cover anything else. And I don't even play Wii or Game Cube anymore.

What is one item in your favorite game that you have never figured out how to get? Maybe it's a rare and obscure item, or maybe it's something that you couldn't get because you couldn't figure out the side quest to actually obtain it. For me it's the Mogs Amulet in FF8. I have gotten every other item in the game, but that Mogs Amulet still continues to elude me. Even in the remaster/rerelease I haven't managed to get it. It's easier to get certain items, like Ribbons, now that I don't have to waste my time with a Pocket Station. But that damn Mogs Amulet still hasn't come to me. Even if I leave the game running, so as to farm items for days on end, I still can't get it. And there are no cards that modify into it, nor are there any items that modify into it. It's not a drop or mug item. 23 years of playing FF8, and that one item has always eluded me. But at least this isn't nearly as bad as Legacy Of The Wizard, where the last 3 crown have been eluding me for 35 fucking years.

Agreed. But if we have to give specific titles, then I would say just about any Zelda game, FF8, or Castlevania. Something that I have played the hell out of, and know backwards and forwards, inside and out.

I always thought that if I was to become a mother (never wanted to) that my kids would be allowed to play video games, but there's a bit of a difference. They would begin by playing old systems like the Atari 2600 and NES. They wouldn't start out with the newest and boldest console of the day. They would have to earn newer systems over time. That way they would learn to appreciate what they had and it would help them become better people, instead of having a sense of entitlement that so many have given themselves today. If you earn everything you have, you appreciate it more. For example, my first car was a rusted out Oldsmobile, with a drivers side window that didn't roll down. Half the time I had to keep the hood tied down with a shoe lace. When I got rid of it, I got a Chevy S-10. I loved that truck. It was awesome as hell to me. I didn't start with the best, I had to earn it. Which made it mean all that much more to me.

The thing we don't know, however is how long they have been working on it already. The website says "...we are pleased to confirm that active development for the next entry in the Grand Theft Auto series is well underway." The term "well underway" is such a broad and vague term, that it could mean that they have spent the last 6 years working on it in secret. How they would prevent leaks is beyond me, but we'll ignore that for the moment. Or it could mean that the team is throwing ideas back and forth prior to actually designing and programming. Or they could be in the final stages of testing and bug hunting. We simply don't know what their definition of "well underway" is.

How is it inferior? If you're talking about the technical side of things, I wouldn't go so far as to call it inferior. Maybe a little slower, but it's still lightning fast. It can hold its own against anything Sony or Microsoft put out to challenge Nintendo. If we're using terms like "superior" and "inferior" then going by my own unbiased experience, the Switch is superior to the Xbox Series S. We have both, and the Switch outperforms the Xbox every time we play them.

SNES is a Nintendo. It's actually their second major console to have hit the western market on August 23, 1991.

Often, I don't think it's the movie in and of itself, but maybe a certain part instead. Like say someone has a fear of clowns. In the movie IT, when Pennywise pops his head up in the sewer, it made a lot of people almost shit their pants. Also when The Exorcist came out, a lot of people fled the theatre in terror. Even the girl who played Reagan wasn't allowed to see the movie until she was 17. For me the movie was Dead Silence, but only one part. It was in the motel when Mary Shaw suddenly appeared in the chair. It hit me hard and sent me into a panic attack. The rest of the movie was nothing big, but that one part hit me.

There's another ending where you wake up with Lenny in jail if you decide not to jump the fence behind the bar.

You can talk to @Rain Dew about the RE series. She absolutely loves it, including the older titles. I think the only one she hasn't played is RE2 on N64.

A couple hundred for me. I play a wide array of games.

What kind of accent do you have? I know each country has an accent that's all its own. But that doesn't necessarily mean that everyone speaks with that particular one. For example, the states have a lot of different accents. In my case I grew up on a small farm, so to hear me speak you would hear a female southern redneck. So what's yours? How do you speak?

I have a minions blanket and pillowcase. I have the minions fart blaster. I have talking minions. I have walking minions. I have dozens of other minions stuff. Have I mentioned that I LOVE the minions?

This game reminds me of three games that I have on my Switch.

The only ones that use the computers here are me and @Rain Dew. Besides, I keep all my passwords on a thumb drive, so It's not like they're readily available to anyone.

While the vast majority of (his? her?) posts are in this particular thread, that doesn't give us the right to lock it simply because it irks you. If we start doing that, we would have to start locking every thread as soon as someone got annoyed which would pretty much stop conversation, and defeat the purpose of the forum. @Heatman made a very good point as well. If you feel the topic has run its course, you can always stop following it. Just mark it read and move on.
