  1. The Conjuring 2
    9/10

I was having myself an Annabelle marathon a few nights ago. It was fun to see the movies in one run. I did try watching The Nun but all that one did was put me to sleep. So I didn't finish the marathon. I may sometime today. All I have left is the first Annabelle and The Conjuring 3.

Hopefully my information wasn't too personal (it looks like other people have revealed similar stuff so I figured it was fine).

Your introduction was fine. Nothing to worry about.🙂

For some reason NES and SNES games are usually really fun. Even with newer games, I think a simple concept that's fun on a basic level is a lot more fun than a tediously complicated game.

Games were unique and original on those systems, whereas today games are all sequels and carbon copies of each other. There's no real originality. Game devs weren't afraid to take risks back then. Thanks to that, we got some really great, amazing gems. I remember when NES hit the market, everyone was blown away by how lifelike Mario was, and how complex the games were. Now looking back the games were beyond simple, and the graphics were blocky pixels. But that's part of what makes those games so great. It was a simpler time, with just better games if you ask me.

I’m a classic gamer myself. Despite playing several PS4/PS5 games, I play from the N64 back. I love my Atari2600, and the NES is simply the greatest console ever made. SNES has a lot of great games, but the NES is still far superior.

Whatever game you fancy, there is someone else here who plays it.

Just familiarize yourself with the rules and you’ll be just fine.

    Welcome to the forum.

  4. I have no clue what that stones shit is. It says absolutely nothing to me. Sand is a stone and so is Bear Tower. So to reiterate, that doesn't say a goddamn thing to me.

For my collections, I have 80 something Zippos, and closer to 100 skulls. If you're interested, I can post my gaming library. But it's a long ass list.

On the cot thing, here's a pic for you.

    also get a mini fridge

Too late. I have a minifridge and a microwave in here. I also have a couple cots as well. I have my skull collection as well as my Zippo collection. But like you said, I only have to leave to use the bathroom. If I can figure out a way to turn the closet into a bathroom, then 'll pretty much have a whole apartment in here.

The only thing anyone can do to get me out is to lure me with food. If you can feed me a meal that I like, we're going to be great friends.
I'm a sucker for food. I bet you never met a girl like that before!

what you on with at the min

As far as gaming it's a bit of a back and forth between RDR2 and Zelda OoT. I love my N64, but RDR2 calls me quite a bit. But with my setup here I can watch TV and play my classic systems as I have 2 TV's set up. I could hook my PS5 for RDR2 to the small TV, but that just wouldn't do the game justice. We also have a 75" TV in the living room, but I spend my time in my home office.

  7. I was going to go to Pridefest in St Louis, but the Proud Boys are planning to crash it, and with those psychopaths there, it's likely to become a bloodbath. Not so much for my safety, but instead to keep @Rain Dew out of potential harms way (if she wanted to go), we're skipping it this year.

    FFX/X2

You are not permitted to read on until you've bought this game.

    Heavenly Sword

Have you bought FFX/X2 yet? You better have...

Every one of these games are from my current gaming library. I own them all. I was looking for opinions because I'm trying to find something different to play. You forget that I have an enormous game library (just ask @Rain Dew) with well over 2000 games. Many of which I either haven't played in years, of have just never gotten around to playing. I can post my library of the systems I play again if you want me to. I keep a file saved and print it out every so often so that when I'm at GameStop or some other place that sells games, I know what I have so I don't pull another Reckoning and end up with 5 copies of the same game because I kept forgetting that I already owned it.

One game I was really hoping to hear about from you is Dante's Inferno. I've loved that game since I first played it. It's somewhat in the same vein as God Of War, but still unique in its own right.

  9. The rare rolling block rifle isn't the only item at Braitiwaite Manor that you will lose forever if you don't grab it right then, right there. When raiding the Braithwaite homestead looking for Jack, there's a gold shield on the mantle over the fireplace on the first floor. It's small, so you may walk right by it and miss it. But once the gang leaves Braithwaite Manor after not finding Jack, you've lost your one and only chance to get it. If you give me a bit, I'm pretty sure I can find at least one thing from every chapter that's a one shot item.

Legendary's don't count on this, so I'm not going to go with the legendary bull gator in chapter 4.

  10. I know these are a lot of games, but if anyone would be willing to give a review and opinion of the games they have played, I would really love to hear it.

  11. Despite not being a player of the game, I would say that Skyrim has been the biggest hit of the generation. True, it came out during the PS3 era, but it has been going like an ox ever since. People who know how to do it are modding the game. The game is (from what I see) one of, if not the, biggest open world games in existence. There really is no challenger for first place. Skyrim has it.

Second place, I would say, is a tie between RDR2, GTA5, and Witcher 3. They're all massive hits in their own right, and have a fan base that is just as big as the success of the games themselves. It's no secret that I absolutely LOVE RDR2. I have given the others multiple chances, but just can't get into them. GTA is way out of my "comfort zone" if you will. It is just nothing that entertains me in any way. If I want to experience that kind of thing, I'll just go hang out in my old neighborhood. Witcher 3, despite being the kind of game I'm typically into, just couldn't reel me in or get it's hooks into me. The same goes for Skyrim.

So from what I see, those are the four biggest hits that are currently going. If I missed something let me know, because I really want to know what everyone thinks.

  12. Was wondering what happened to you for a while. I'm sorry to hear about your split. Relationship endings always hurt, but after 20+ years would be absolutely devastating. I hope you're doing ok.

You know us freaks of nature, oops I mean gamers, will be here for a long time. I'm interested to hear what games you're playing.

I think this game was really the first game I played that used graphic words like bastard and Hell. It really surprised me they were able to say that in a video game.

The first for me, as you know, was Final Fantasy 8. Zell had a bit of a mouth on him, but that was something that just seemed to fit his personality. Since then, having been playing RDR2 like a fiend, Zell was a perfect little boy who would never even DREAM of using any kind of profanity.

It seems characters in RDR2 lack the ability to speak a sentence without a swear in it somewhere.

  14. The worst thing about Guinea Pigs is that they're cowards. They will run like hell when you try to handle them. It takes a hell of a lot of work to get them to trust you. Once they do, they will want to be around you constantly. They will love you like crazy, but can get annoying with it. So be ready to have an obsessed lover. I know rats are like that, as are hedgehogs. Once they warm up to you, they love you like crazy.
