  1. Just a couple weeks ago I bought a PS3 off Craigslist for $150, but it also had 18 games with it. Out of them all I kept 2 and put he rest back up on CL for $35 as a bundle. So older systems are tricky. Sometimes you can find someone willing to pay the money for it, sometimes not. It's a total crapshoot. You might try CL. It will probably sell quicker on there than FB.

  2. I hated Wind Waker. It was just way too cartooney for me. I wasn't a big fan of Twilight Princess, and never even counted Skyward Sword as an actual Zelda game. I haven't played BOTW yet either so I can't consider it on this list. Majoras Mask was good. A pain in the ass, but still good. Ocarina was a really well designed game, and loads of fun. Link To The Past is high on my list as one of the best. Zelda 2 is probably the most difficult in the entire series, and doesn't really keep to the story. But my all time favorite is the one that got the series started. The original Legend Of Zelda on the NES. It was the best they have made. There are other titles in the series that are great, but they just can't match the original. In my opinion no Zelda title ever has or will match or even rival the original.

  3. I've pre-ordered a few. I pre-ordered The new God Of War that came out on PS4, and I pre-ordered For Honor (gold edition). Elder Scrolls: Elsweyr is coming out on June 4th. When I first saw the trailer for the game on YouTube, I initially thought it was a movie trailer. I'm going to order it when I get a few bucks in my pocket. The pre-order has a lot of extra features, that the regular pick up order won't have. I pre-order series that I'm a big fan of, like God Of War. Other series that I like or games that just look really awesome to me I'll pre-order. But I don't do it often.

  4. Two classics I recommend everyone should read are Pride & Prejudice and War And Peace. I haven't been able to find an unabridged copy in any of the book stores around here, and so far the ones I've found online have been a bit out of my price range. It's been so long since I've read either one, that I honestly don't remember much of either story. One writer I do recommend Ayn Rand. Her writings may controversial to some, but a lot of it is intellectually thought provoking.

  5. I can't say I'm familiar with Vonnegut. Actually I've never heard the name. Steinbeck on the other hand wrote some beautiful stories. I think Of Mice And Men was probably his best. The Grapes Of Wrath was also an excellent story. He's up towards the top of the list or writers I would recommend. He's there alongside Hemingway, King, and Faulkner.

  6. In my personal opinion, Poe is the greatest writer in American history, and also one of the best in the world. His insight into the human mind was something that hasn't been equaled before or since. Especially insanity and misery. He wrote from the darkest depths of his own soul, and created some of the greatest works ever. One of my most prized possessions is a book with all of his works. I have the same with all of Shakespeare's works. If you like sonnets, check out Shakespeare's sonnet 141. It's a great one.

  7. Prejudice is never going to go away. It's a human trait, unfortunately. I grew up in a white bred heavily Christian area. And growing up there, the word black didn't exist. Everyone here knows what words did exist. They were used as casually as you use hello. I was taught for 19 years to be a racist. And I won't lie, those words come out of my mouth easily and casually. Not because I believe them, but because of how I was raised. When you're taught something from birth for decades, it's hard to unlearn it. I'm 37 now, and I'm doing better, but I still use them all the time.

But I have to say, that there is one time that prejudice can be understood, even valid. When you're treated like dirt and scum by every person of a certain group that you have ever encountered, then you grow to hate that group. I'm in that boat. I personally hate Christians. All my life they have gone out of their way to shove the bible down my throat. And when I refuse it the condemnations come out and the names start getting thrown out. I've been called everything but a human being because I wouldn't accept their religion. And this is by thousands of Christians including my own family. So as it is now, I absolutely hate every aspect of Christianity. The people, the objects, the locations, all of it.

I like something Samuel Butler said:
"An apology to the Devil- it must be remembered that we have only heard one side of the case. God has written all the books."

Emile Zola said something good too:
"Civilization will not attain to its perfection until the last stone from the last church falls on the last priest."

  8. Am I the only hockey nut here? Hockey is my game. I'm a long time hardcore Detroit Red Wings nut. Win or lose I stand by them. I was bummed as hell when we lost Datsyuk and Lidstrom, but they both felt it was time to retire. And then when they traded Mrazek and we lost Zetterburg due to injury, I was heartbroken. Mrazek was my absolute favorite goalie, and Zetterburg was an amazing captain. I'm interested to see who they're gonna make captain next year. Currently the only A's we have are Kronwall and Abdelkader, so It's gonna be one of them. I can't decide who I would want, as bothe of them would do an amazing job.

But anyway, who else worships hockey?

  9. Right now I'm reading Othello. It's a great story. The last one of Shakespeare's plays I read was MacBeth. I loved it. I'm also reading a lot of Poe. The Raven aside, The Bells is one of his best poems. And The Cask Of Amontillado is his absolute best story. The Fall Of The House Of Usher is another great.

I also read The Illiad recently. It was a great read too.

  10. Yet republicans fight immigration, ban transgenders from serving, make tax cuts for the rich, support Nazis ("Very fine people"), deny health care to the poor, steal money from the government for foolhardy useless reasons (the wall), alienate allies, play the "mine is bigger than yours" game (US v NK), and try to make Christianity the only legal religion (Pence).

I fail to see how republicans are "guardians of equality". More like fascists.

Maybe it should be spelled republiKlans.

  11. Tetris and Solar Jetman for me. With tetris I just don't get the appeal of dropping blocks on each other. It's so annoying that I absolutely can't stand it. With Solar Jetman, it's impossible to control the damn ship. One slight touch of the D pad and the thing is spinning uncontrollably. I'm not joking on that one. You can't control the thing. With both of them I'd like to smack the team that created them.

  12. So many to choose from. I'll try to list 10 from NES, SNES, and N64. I'll try to avoid big franchises like Zelda and Mario if possible. They're in no particular order.

  13. The cops pick and choose what is and isn't a crime. For example here where I live robbery, assault, and vandalism are legal. The US is a completely worthless country. Nothing works as it should here. If I had the money I would have left the country a long time ago, but I flat out can't afford it. So I'm stuck in a shithole country, that is now the joke of the world thanks to the current sitting president.

  14. Chump should be executed for his crimes. He is the worst dictator this country has ever seen. A retarded monkey would be a major improvement. After Chump maybe we could elect Satan. That is if we want an improvement.

  15. Am I the only girl that games? I'm starting to feel a bit outnumbered here. I know there are other girls here, but not many. Are we a minority in the gaming world, or am I just missing something?
