I'll stick to competition snowboarding. It's what I love, and would kill to have one more chance to hit the slopes.

I love mini golf. I was actually pretty good at it before the chair.

They're all quite different. NES, SNES, N64, Sega Genesis, PlayStation, Atari 2600, etc. None of those are even remotely similar. And those are the majority of the systems I play. I do also have an Xbox One, every PS console minus the Vita, and odds and ends of some other random systems. The only confusion I can see of anyone having would be the PS5 and Xbox controllers. I still say the PS5 controller looks like a PlayStation fucked an Xbox.

I'm just like that myself. I have 125 DDL's on my Switch, and can probably count on one hand how many of them I have actually played. And most of those I have barely played. The only 4 I can think of that I have put any real time into are FutureGrind, Goblin Sword, Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice, and Layers Of Fear: Legacy. There are several others that I have played, but that was either because I decided while playing them that I wanted to play something else, or it was just too damn hard at that moment. For example I have Cuphead, and still haven't beaten the first stage. That game is a bitch, but I love it for a multitude of reasons. While the challenge is something I'm grateful for, the main thing I love is the artwork and animation. It looks exactly like the vast majority of cartoons I watched as a kid. It may be a game that wasn't even in existence until last gen, but it still gives me feelings of nostalgia. I'm going to have to get a DVD of those old cartoons.

That's actually really cheap here. The only place I can think of that goes that low is Subway. Everything else around here is at least $6+ for a 6". It's why I often just buy the ingredients and make my own at home.

Roger Clark (aka Arthur Morgan) has a new game coming out this coming summer, and it looks pretty badass. It will especially appeal to sci-fi buffs. I'm not the biggest fan of sci-fi, but that's what I said about westerns prior to playing RDR2. I am however, a huge fan of Roger Clark. So @Rain Dew and I are planning on picking it up when it drops.

You Could Brick The Nintendo Wii U Just For Not Using It
The Blackangel replied to Kane99's topic in Gaming News
There's almost always a place that repairs consoles somewhere that isn't too terribly far away. We have several around here, but I personally tend to do my own work, unless it's something that is beyond my means. I repair a lot more controllers than consoles. But I have done both in the past. GameStop can usually point you in the right direction towards a place that repairs consoles. -
The Switch being small and portable, what is a game you would never want on it? My choice should be pretty obvious. I would never want to see RDR2. The game would lose so much being on the Switch. Just look at Skyrim and Witcher 3. Both games are so much better on bigger systems (including PC). The Switch may be an amazing system, but it doesn’t have near the capabilities of a PS5 or Series X/S. The Switch is so small physically that it couldn’t hold the same components as the other options. So what’s your choice?

@Rain Dew has a couple videos up live, but I'm a bit too much of a perfectionist, so none of mine are uploaded yet. Here's a direct link to our channel.

On the chance that I can’t figure it out, we’ll credit you in the video description. Then again, I have no clue how to animate things like an intro for videos, so I may be a lost cause. And to think, I used to be pretty good at animation. But that was 20 years ago.

I'm one. @Rain Dew and I run a YouTube channel.

What are your thoughts on the DKOldies drama?
The Blackangel replied to Kane99's topic in Gaming News
OMG, you have got to be kidding me. I don’t even care if he was being sarcastic or serious. Making that kind of claim is not going to do him any favors. It’s going to kill any kind of credibility he ever may have had. What an idiot. -
I'm not talking about justifiable homicide like a cop or bounty hunter would face. This is amongst civilians. What I'm referring to is killing someone when you're not in personal danger for something they have done. The movie A Time To Kill is a great example of this. If someone was to rape a female family member (especially your daughter) do you think killing them is the right thing to do? If someone breaks into your house, do you have the right to kill them? In my opinion the answer to all these questions is a firm YES. I have actually gone on the record with the cops that if someone breaks into my house I will intentionally kill them. I will open fire and keep shooting until I know for a fact that they are dead. I will probably fire an extra round or two just to make sure they are dead. I don't have kids, but if someone was to attack my daughter I would torture them to death. Slowly and as painful as I could make it. People like that deserve to die. They have no business being alive. What about you? Do you think it's ever justified to commit a murder as a civilian?

What are your thoughts on the DKOldies drama?
The Blackangel replied to Kane99's topic in Gaming News
You're definitely right there. Everything is scripted and preplanned, but the injuries they suffer and the grueling schedule is 100% real. There's not a wrestler alive who hasn't suffered a serious injury. There have also been wrestlers who died as a result of the business. The most well known being Owen Hart. What I mean by fake, is a lot of the physical violence. They don't punch each other with their full strength, or some of the moves. For example, with the pile driver, their head isn't slammed into the mat. It's actually held high up enough so that it doesn't hit the mat like that. If they did drive their opponents head into the mat, it would almost definitely cause either paralysis or even death from a broken neck. And if you watch someone punch, they stomp the mat as they swing. But most don't even notice that as they're not looking at the wrestlers feet. -
Metroid Prime Remastered Digital Coming Out Today?!
The Blackangel replied to killamch89's topic in Nintendo
The original Metroid (NES) was a lot of fun. I also have Metroid II on Game Boy. They're great games. The original was so wildly different from other games, that it was initially thought it would be a "one and done" kind of game. A lot of the games that came out back then were like that. But the sales of Metroid were significant enough that Nintendo took notice. There was a new Metroid for every Nintendo system with the exception of the Virtual Boy and the Game Boy until the GBA came out. The franchise has been wildly successful. Not as successful as their more recognizable franchises (Mario & Zelda) but still a big time seller. -
Yeah it was an offensive price. We actually went out to eat afterwards. We had planned on eating there at the event, but with those prices, we decided to get an actual meal somewhere in town. As for Barney, it would have been interesting to see some asshole in the costume standing next to a life size T-Rex that actually moved a little bit.

How entertainment affects your pets
The Blackangel replied to Reality vs Adventure's topic in Technology & Gadgets
Her birthday is August 13th 2017. So she'll be 6 this year. I've had her since she was a baby and had grown all her feathers. So she was a few months old. She gets into bitey moods a lot, and makes sure to shit on me every time I have her out. Maybe it's her misguided way of showing affection. -

The Blackangel replied to Kane99's topic in Gaming News
"It looks like it's not a Phillips, and it's also not like the cross hair one..." A Phillips screwdriver IS the "cross hair" one. I've seen come complete fake videos in my time, but this one takes that cake. The only thing I can think of that's fake, but portrays itself as real is pro wrestling. But in this case, I would give more credit to wrestling. -
I'm pretty sure I already know the answer to this, but to me it looks like some kind of fighting game in the same vein of Mortal Kombat and Street Fighter. Is that right? With you mentioning JRPG's @Shagger I'm now officially confused. I've never particularly been into anime, so I really don't know what to look for in these kind of games. The only anime I even really know of is Dragon Ball Z. Unless that one no longer counts. If Pokemon is anime, then I know of two.

Gamer has largest collection of games worth up to $2.1 million
The Blackangel replied to Kane99's topic in Gaming News
I'm somewhat like that with Zelda games. I have virtually all of them, including 3 ROM-hacks, but I'm not really trying to collect them all intentionally. I just love the franchise so damn much, that I tend to buy every game as soon as it released. Off the top of my head, there's a couple that I have zero interest in. Cadence Of Hyrule and Hyule Warriors being two of them. There's probably others (very few) that I won't be picking up. The abominations on the CD-i are definitely out. Hell, I even have the cartoon series on DVD.
