I don't currently own game pass. I have had it in the past and it's a fantastic value! I'm hoping to get a good deal on it in the new year as I enjoyed playing a lot of games on it and I would love to use some of those games to stream them on Mixer. It helps save money than buying all these games individually. It's fantastic and a great way to try new games you might not have tried otherwise. 🙂

That looks so bad but I'd imagine it was way ahead of it's time back in the day! I remember using those calculators when I was in school. 🙂 They were stupid expensive!

That's very true! I forgot you could play the campign co-op. I might have to get my boyfriend to sit down with me when we both have time and play through the campaign together. 🙂 There are so many games I'd like to complete but not enough time to do so! There just aren't enough hours in a day to complete all the games I wanna complete! 😄

I would love to see this. 🙂 I think the list of games posted previously is a solid choice. 🙂 It would certainly be interesting to see Nintendo put this out to compete with the Playstation Classic. Which I hear isn't doing too well right now. I think an N64 classic/mini would sell like hotcakes much like the NES and SNES mini before it. 🙂

If you could become the owner of one gaming company?
Shortie861 replied to Cabrelle's topic in Gaming Forum
I'm not sure if I'd ever be able to own a game company. 😛 I guess for me, if I had to own a game studio......It would be either Microsoft Studios or perhaps Treyarch Studios as I love most of Treyarch's call of duty titles. 🙂 -
I don't plan on upgrading my console unless I can get a really really good deal on an Xbox One X. I own an Xbox One S and it suits me just fine for right now. So unless a really amazing deal comes around for a One X and I can afford to upgrade, I don't see any point right now. Especially since it seems that there might be a new Xbox console coming in 2020. 🙂

I don't really play my PS4 all that often, but my boyfriend was talking about a pro-like controller for the PS4 the other day. I'm not sure if it was this one, but I think it was the one by Razer? I know he has an Elite controller for his Xbox One and he loves it, I don't see the point in spending that much money on a controller myself. The standard controller with some kontrol freaks on the thumbsticks is enough for me. I suppose if a more affordable "Pro" controller came out for Xbox One I might consider it. 🙂

This seems like a really good deal. Thanks for the heads up. I might jump on this offer. 🙂

I try not to spend too much on phones because they don't tend to last too long. I had a few android phones over the course of the past 3 years, and they both got really sluggish on me. I'm currently using my daughter's old iPhone 5C and it's still pretty snappy after doing a factory reset on it as she's upgraded to a newer iPhone model with her birthday money. I don't really like spending too much on phones though because they don't really last too long and I just don't see the point. 🙂

What snacks to you grab for a gaming night?
Shortie861 replied to Katri Marcell's topic in Gaming Forum
I don't tend to snack too often when I game, but when I do, it's usually on crisps or party/finger foods if I've had them earlier in the day and have leftover. 🙂 I try not to eat too much when I'm gaming though. 🙂 -
I never really got into the Doom series. It's pretty amazing that it's turned 25 years old though. Not too many franchises ever get to see that age before they die off into obscurity. 🙂 I might have to try the original Doom games sometime. 🙂 I do enjoy FPS games so I might have to try Doom sometime. I know you can get it on pretty much any device nowadays. I heard you could even get it on a calculator back in the day! Now that is amazing. 🙂

When it comes to vehicles in a game I believe it depends on the game. For example Fortnite released all kinds of vehicles from quads to even planes now and I really don't feel like it works in a Battle Royale game such as Fortnite. With Call of Duty or even Battlefield though, vehicles do work and they work well and when you think about it, Call of Duty and Battlefield are war games and you get vehicles in war so it's realistic as well.

Most of the time when I take a journey somewhere I don't always have the time to play games as my journeys are so short, however, whenever I go on a long journey I always find that my Nintendo Switch comes in very handy! With the games I have I never get bored on a long journey and that is always a plus side. There is nothing worse than being on a long journey and being very bored.

After much thought I would have to say loading times. If a game takes a while to load I can get a little bit annoyed and maybe also lose interest whilst waiting. Another pet peeve of mine when it comes to games is probably also waiting times in between games online. Most game I feel now have a long wait time in queues for getting into a multiplayer game, that can be overly annoying.

I would have to say that Black Ops 3 was probably one of my favourites in terms of a Call of Duty, this was the first game I was able to gain prestige master on and actually enjoyed working my way towards that rank. I still even now go back to it quite often and have fun with it and I feel like I will be going back to it more often. Black Ops 4 is good but it definitely doesn't beat Black Ops 3.

If I could only have one video game to play for the rest of my life I would have to say Destiny 2 on the Xbox One! If they continued to pull in updates for it and it continued to be as popular as it is now it would definitely be a game I could play for as long as I lived without worry. I can spend hours up on hours on this game and not get bored so it would be super easy for me!

I can't say that I am someone who rages on a game if I am honest, I may get a little annoyed and it can be heard in my reaction but in terms of raging I never saw the point of it. My way of thinking is, I am playing a game to chill, relax and feel better, raging really doesn't help you feel like you are relaxed and it will only cause you more stress. I have seen so many streamers, youtubers and such rage so bad it's a wonder they are even able to keep going. I never really understood it.

I have never worked on a video game but I would absolutely love to! I have a younger brother who went to college and university and through those years he worked on a video game that him and his friends came up with which was a pretty cool concept and I loved it. It never went any further though after they left University which was a shame. Being able to work on my own game would be a blast though, so many ideas just a case of making them work!

At the moment I have an Xbox One S and as much as I would love to upgrade to an Xbox One X I don't justify the price at the moment and for what I use my Xbox One S for I am quite happy with it. Many people I know jumped on an upgrade to the Xbox One X as soon as they could and they are happy with their consoles but to be honest, aside from faster loading times and also the ability to have it in actual 4K there really is no other reason. One day I will upgrade but it will not be until I see a price drop I am happy with.

Definitely has to be Cyberpunk 2077. Ever since this games was announced I have been hyped about it and can not wait to get my hands on it and jump on it. Another game that I am super excited for as well is Crackdown 3. I am loving the look of the multiplayer on Crackdown 3 and have a funny feeling it's going to be a lot of fun with friends. All I can say is roll on 2019 as gaming is looking so hype!

I am very much hyped for Cyberpunk. So many people I know keep going on about it and the more I see of it, the more I want to jump in and play it. I definitely see it being the game of the year this year unless all the hype ends up being a huge flop or at least unless another game comes out that can have anymore hype than this one. I always find games that have a lot of hype usually end up a bit of a flop. Really hoping Cyberpunk is not one of those games.

I don't know about past as I can't say I have ever really been overly addicted to video games in the past, however, at the moment I am addicted to Destiny 2! I get on that game and I can be on it for hours before I have to pull myself away. There is so much to do on Destiny 2 that you can never get bored on it! I am absolutely loving playing through the updates and the addons for it and don't feel I will tire of it for a long time.

So today I picked Just Dance 2019 up for the Nintendo Switch. Every year I always buy my children Just Dance and all them to have it on New Years Eve for some fun and to help pass the time. This time I decided to purchase it on the Nintendo Switch as I own one now and for a different experience, we always get it on the Xbox One so having it on a different console will be different for everyone this year. What are your thoughts on this years Just Dance 2019 and what console have you purchased it on?

What are your thoughts on The Pogues - Fairytale of New York being cut down to remove certain words even after say the water shed on radio stations? I remember for years the words that were said in that song were never an issue, people saw it as a classic, it was not aimed at anyone and everyone enjoyed the song but now radio stations either refuse to play it or they will and they will cut out those areas to save problems. Would you say playing the full version is an issue?

When it comes to Christmas Music I find that I myself prefer the old classics over the newer Christmas tracks that are released by the newer up and coming artists. Right now I am listening to Bing Crosby and I don't know, something about listening to the old classics really gives me a Christmas feeling. What do you prefer? The old classics or the newer songs?
