Here is a very scary story that I read on reddit xD I've been lying down for hours now. It's 5:35AM and there's not much I can do. You know what the worst part about my situation is? I’m in the same room with my parents. They keep looking at me, and I can’t help but look back and try not to cry or scream. Their eyes are focused on me and their mouths are wide open. There’s the strong scent of blood and I'm paralyzed with fear. Here’s the thing. The second that I make any hint that I’m not asleep anymore, I’m completely fucked. I will die and there’s nobody around to save me. I've been trying to think of a way out but the only idea I have is to rush for my bedroom door, run outside the front door, and scream for help, hoping any neighbors hear me. It's risky, but if I stay here, I'll surely die. He's waiting for me to wake up and see his masterpiece. You're probably wondering what's going on. I do get ahead of myself sometimes. About three hours ago, I heard screaming from the other side of the house. I got up and went to check on the noise and I realized that I had to use the restroom. Instead of doing the smart thing and investigating, I used the bathroom first. I could've gotten myself killed right then for my stupid actions. But I actually did my business and took a peek outside the bathroom. There was blood on the carpet. I got very worried and ran back to my room and hid under my sheets like the pussy I was. I tried to convince myself to go back to sleep, that it was just some really vivid dream or something. I heard my bedroom door open. Like the terrified child I was, I peeked from under my blankets to see what was going on, I could see something dragging my dead parents into the room. Whatever it was, it wasn't human, I can tell you that. It was hairless, with no eyes, and no clothing. It walked like a caveman, with its back slouched as it dragged my parents. But this thing was much smarter than any caveman. It was aware of what it was doing. It propped my dad up on the edge of my bed, and made him face me. Then, it sat my mother down in the chair and positioned her towards me as well. After that it started rubbing its hands on the walls, staining them with blood, and then drew a circle with a pentagram in it. To finish it off, it scribbled a message on the wall that I couldn't read in the darkness. It then positioned itself under my bed, waiting to strike. The scariest thing is now, my eyes have adjusted to the darkness since then and I can read the message on the wall. I don't want to look at it, because it's terrifying to think about. But I feel the need to see, before I'm killed. I peek at the creature's masterpiece. "I know you're awake."

Kingdom Hearts 4 has been officially announced , I dig the new cinematics, it finally looks more like the modern Final Fantasy games. I was never really a fan but I did owned KH2 on the ps2 as kid and beat it a couple of times. although I never understood the story, even today I dont even know what the game is about 😆

Officially 100% Mario Kart 7, all items, characters and 3 start ratings. And I started playing Metroid fusion, funny enough despite playing a lot of Metroid games I have never actually finished one

I probably missunderstood your comment. But as to the way you presented your question it seemed like if you were asking were he was going to purchase the game if he was not able to get it on steam. Therefore to me were to buy the game didnt had anything to do with the topic. But again I didnt make the comment with any intend of malice.

My favorite for new releases is Gameranx I love the before you buy section For Nintendo games I usually go with RGT85 but lately the quality of his videos has dropped. And my favorite for old school games is of course The Angry Videogame nerd

Yep great movie, really funny. A good example as to why killing npcs in GTA doesnt fit into this category. Speaking of and going back to topic as well, near the end of the game in GTA V you are force to make a decision about killing one of the main characters, but you can also choose to save them all so its all optional. A nice addition to the story but I feel that by doing so it takes away value of the story.

Ah I loved that movie as well, its one of those movies that its so bad its good xD, Dont bother with the new MK movie, well in my opinion it was just bad, but it does have good special effects.

@Empire I always though Professor Layton games were just like simple puzzles for kids so I never actually payed any attention to them, but I will dowload the rom and try it out later this week @Yaramaki Alot of my friends have recommended me to play Fantasy Life but Im afraid to do so for the same reason you described, it will probably take a lot of my time xD Maybe I will try Im not sure. I did played the first Phoenix Wright game back in the DS era but Im not exactly a huge fan but its a good game, I will maybe try it as well since Im dowloading Professor Layton along with it.

True there arent too many of them (that I know of) , the only other I can think of is probably the Oldman Sniper boss fight in MGS3 but even that I dont know if it can be consider a puzzle. And I can understand that even term is kinda loose.

No my friend, I think the confusion here is the translation. The topic says "boss fights that are more like puzzles than fights", as in boss fights that are not actually fights but more like a puzzle that has to be solved, so basically fighting games are not part of this category.

But what does GTA online has to do with Remedy ? People are buying GTA even after more than 10 years and people are still spending money on GTA online even till this day,Same goes for Skyrim, Rockstar will do what any logical people will do , milk it until is dry giggity😆 Anyway also the GTA trilogy was remastered by Grove Street Games or previusly known as War Drum Studios, a developer that had only made mobile games up until this point, sure it was Rockstart's descision to appoint the remaster of the game to them but at again that has nothing to do with Remedy. All Game publishers are greedy, EA, Rockstart, Activision etc and that will never stop, but we cant blame that on the developers, good games can come out of greedy publishers. I think the remake of Max Payne will be just fine, maybe not groundbreaking but good quality at least

I have never played Dragon Dogma so I wasnt even aware that was not made in Japan. Well thats true you are right for a game to be consider in that JRPG style it doesnt has to be neccearly made in japan. Hell I think nowadays even the RPG term is very loose, so I stand corrected.

Then why do you even play GTA then ? Thats the whole point of the game, thats what the npcs are for!! The game is about crime, even the title of the game is about a crime

I have looked in to it, a hacked Wii U will cost me around 150 US dollars, but I dont know If I want to spend that kind of money just for a game that I already played, and also in someway or another I have already played or owned most of the games on the Wii U. Also...(I might get burn at the stake for saying this) but I dont like xenoblade chronicles😆 I played the first game on the Wii, spent over 30 hours into it and I didnt like it at all, I havent played the X version or the sequel though

@Shagger I apologize if my comment came out in a wrong way, but you have to acknowledge my concern, as soon as you mentioned the possibility of post being deleted as a punishment to those who make spam posts or "low quality" post it made me worry, like you said we are human sometimes we will agree or disagree with our actions or comments, like for example what If I made a simple post and you or anothe mod deemed it as a low quality post ? This is all gray area so thats what I wanted reassurance that if a rule like that was implemented there was at least some type of process behind it. I still think that deleting posts might not be the solution, or any other type of punishment for that matter. But again dont get me wrong I dont want to defend these people, in fact I usually spend most of my days here arguing in some way on another with them and I know they dont like me. But at the same time I want the forum to grow and if possible retain those members, and I support you we need to do something about this asap, Im just concern about the approach. I already said it but Im afraid that if we start threatening members with deleting post it might turn them away. We should also focus on retaining members, the forum is already small as it is, If we dont learn how shift the direction of their spamming behavior this is just going to keep happening again with new members. I was thinking about this a lot during the weekend and I just realized that the first page that we see when we enter the forum is the Latest replies, I dont know a lot about web programming so I dont know how much of a hassle this will be but what if instead the first page becomes the latest topics that are posted not the ones that are replied to. I know this can be currently done on the settings but not a lot of people bother with that so that might be the problem, if by default we see on the page the latest topics posted and hide the replies maybe we can work around this issue, I dont know Im just thinking out loud. @Crazycrab Sorry man I have to disagree on this one as well, I dont like the idea of a limit or a timer on the amount of posts. Im also tired of scrolling through hundreds of replies (something that Im doing right now actually) but I dont think thats a good a idea. @Shagger @The Blackangel Thank you both for you reassurance

And what is the process or how do you determine what post needs to be deleted ? thats my concern, how can I as member be assured that my comment wont be deleted just because the modders didnt like it ? Im not trying to defend the posting habits of other members, Im also fed up with all those "spam" replies that dont add anything to the conversation. But I dont like the idea that my post might get deleted without a due process or warning before hand. What if for me its common sense to continue an old thread rather than creating another one ? I always do a search on the forum to make sure the thread Im creating hasnt already been made. Making a duplicate thread just sounds like spam, I dont see a problem with threads being merge, but I much rather continue an old thread than unnecessarily creating a new one, for me thats just spam posting. I know who the usual suspects are, I agree we need to push them to change their posting habits, this cannot continue , it is very frustrating, some times I just avoid making a comment on a thread just so the "spam reply chain" can stop, we do need to do something about this and Im sure if we all pitch in this can be resolved but I dont think deleting comments is to way to go, or to be more specific threat of a comment being deleted without a proper procedure.

Guys I do have to disagree with one of your proposals here, you shouldnt be deleting other people's comments even if the comment itself is consider spam or "low quality" , I strongly agree that the quality of the comments needs to be improved but if you start to arbitrary delete comments just because the mods dont consider a comment of being "quality" its going to make most people here not wanting to post anything for being afraid that their comment might get deleted. I know that for most people here english is not their first language (myself included) and sometimes it can be difficult to translate an idea, but that is not going to change overnight and surely being told that your comment is going to be deleted if its not up to a standard is going to make us think twice before making any comment at all or just to continue visiting the forum. Also there shouldnt be a problem with visiting or reviving old threads, as far as I know that is not against the forum policies. I do agree some threads are getting out of control and I do agree that sometimes the thread needs to be locked all toguether, or some comments do need to be deleted depending on the situation. But if a comment or reply or thread or whatever is going to be deleted there should be a more detailed process, like a report, a review talk between the mod and the offender, a chance to edit the comment if necessary or if possible or just simply a warning. I dont want to find out that my comment was deleted without me knowing about it before first (if that ever happens) and I think everybody else here thinks the same. I do encourage some members to try to put a little more effort into your comments , since honestly the quality of the replies is very dissapointing, But we should try and change the habits on the forum.

Anyway thats pretty creppy but I had heard stuff like before specially the one where they attack you in your sleep. My sister had something similar, for a time she was waking up with scratches and some nights she claimed that somebody pulled her hair but when she woke up there was nobody in the room, also in most of the incidents she had sleep paralysis. In Mexico there is a legend about Sleep paralysis that basically when it happens it means that there is a ghost or demon or whatever on top of you. A few years after that my sister told us that she was getting sleep paralysis almost everyday, most of them annoying rather scary she claims, but the ones that freak her out were the ones where she had a very specific nightmare that was always almost the same, the first time it happened she claims that in her dream she also had sleep paralysis but somehow she could move in the dream, she claims she was in our house living room and she was able to walk towards her bedroom and in the bedroom there was my mom and my niece but she claims my mom was scared of my sister as if she was another person, she claims my mom started crying and screaming and so as her daughter telling her to go away, my sister says that she tried to tell them that it was her but she couldnt talk and couldnt approach them. Then it started to happen almost every day but with slight differences, in some cases there where more people in room all scared and angry, in others she claims a monster faced person screaming at her, in others the room was just pitch black dark but there were several people screaming for help. She states it didnt stop until her dog started sleeping in the room, somehow that made it stop.
