  1. Honestly, it feels like Nintendo has moved on from Star Fox for now. With the way they’ve been focusing on new ideas and other franchises, I wouldn’t be surprised if they’ve just let it sit on the shelf. It’s a shame, because the potential for Star Fox is still there, but I don’t think it’s a priority anymore.
  2. I think Warlocked was a hidden gem. It wasn’t perfect, but it was one of the few RTS games on the Game Boy Color, and it did a lot right considering the hardware. I always wondered what a more modern take on the franchise would’ve looked like. I would’ve loved to see it get more attention back in the day.
  3. Honestly, I think even if they stick to the formula, that’s not a bad thing. Kirby games are all about that charming, fun experience, and I think as long as they keep that magic, fans will love it. The formula might change, but I expect the spirit of the games to remain the same.
  4. I think it could take a while. Nintendo often lets franchises like Donkey Kong take a back seat, focusing on bigger games like Zelda or Mario. I’d love to see a new Donkey Kong Country-style game, though, with new mechanics like in Donkey Kong Jungle Beat or adding something fresh to the formula. The timing might depend on when Nintendo feels it's the right moment to revive the franchise.
  5. In my opinion, I think the 'Neon Yellow' ones are really underrated. They stand out but aren’t as loud as the red and blue combo.
  6. The N64 controller was both innovative and awkward. Its analog stick was groundbreaking for 3D games, paving the way for modern controllers. But let’s be honest, that three-pronged design felt like it came from an alien spaceship - awkward unless you grew up with it.
  7. Nintendo thrives because they prioritize fun and creativity over raw power. While other companies race to develop the most graphically intensive games, Nintendo focuses on unique experiences, like Breath of the Wild’s open-world physics or the family-friendly chaos of Mario Kart. This approach carves out a niche that appeals to a broad audience, from casual gamers to diehard fans. Another secret weapon they have is their ability to create shared experiences. Whether it’s families playing Mario Party or friends competing in Smash Bros., their games encourage connection. That’s something that transcends trends like cloud gaming or 4K graphics.
  8. Personally, I do keep an eye on eShop sales. I usually check the eShop directly, but I also use websites like Deku Deals to track price drops and set alerts for games I’m interested in. It’s a lifesaver for finding hidden gems or games on my wishlist.
  9. My pick is Super Mario Maker 2. It hands players the tools to create and share their own levels, turning the community into game designers. The creativity doesn’t come from the developers alone but from everyone who plays.
  10. I think Game Freak and Intelligent Systems were essential to Nintendo's handheld legacy. Pokémon practically defined the Game Boy's success, and franchises like Fire Emblem showcased the strategic depth portable gaming could offer. Hal with Kirby also added to this dynasty.
  11. Game Freak and HAL Laboratory deserve a lot of credit. Pokémon and Kirby became cultural phenomena, shaping handheld gaming globally.
  12. I feel like their approach often prioritizes hype over accessibility. Limited-time releases, like Mario 3D All-Stars, create unnecessary FOMO and leave fans scrambling. They could release these items in waves to make them more available.
  13. I think they should lean into augmented reality rather than VR. Nintendo’s games are already so creative; AR could bring them into your real-world space without isolating the player like VR sometimes does.
  14. If Nintendo made an MMORPG, it would likely have seamless integration of nostalgic elements and modern innovation. For instance, the game could use Amiibos to grant players in-game perks tied to their favorite characters or franchises. The gameplay might focus on building communities, like a blend of Animal Crossing’s social features and Xenoblade Chronicles' expansive world.
  15. I'd love to see the return of the dual-screen functionality from the DS/3DS! It allowed for such creative gameplay mechanics, and having a second screen for maps or inventory was a game-changer.
  16. Played some EDOPRO trying out the new cards from Alliance Insight. Jura is actually busted in my opinion.
  17. Neo-Geo is known for its high-quality arcade games and expensive home consoles, but despite the price, it gained a dedicated following in Latin America. What factors helped it gain traction there? Was it the unique games, a strong arcade presence, or something else?
