For instance, I have been learning Spanish during quarantine as a new hobby as well as learning new recipes to cook. What new hobbies have you taken up during Quarantine and what made you choose that hobby?

Let's just remember that it's Activision we're dealing with here - money is all that matters to them. They don't really care about the consumer experience. I have one word for you - Activision!

UK politicians call for action against PS5 and Xbox Series scalpers
killamch89 replied to Kane99's topic in Gaming News
As we said in other threads, the problem is lack of discipline so instead of continuing with what they have right now and upgrade later for a reasonable price. Instead, they need to have the newest thing right now and will pay almost anything to get it and then complain about the money spent. -
There were "rumors" floating around last year that they were working on a Medieval game but that has been put to rest. Honestly, I do like the idea but what about a Medieval game with GTA style? Instead of Oppressors(most tryhard vehicle in existence), you'd be riding Dragons or Griffins. The possibilities are endless but then again, it would have to be lucrative for them to even pursue the venture.

Posts that asks questions and never answer their own first
killamch89 replied to Reality vs Adventure's topic in General Chat
It's a forum and when we post topics, it's intended to start a discussion. What may start as a simple question with a seemingly simple answer may have far more complexity to it. You have many individuals with their own ways of thinking interpreting the information differently. You also have to factor in their unique way of communication. So some persons may choose to answer your question with a question because they probably feel there's more to it than what was asked. That's what makes a discussion on this forum so interesting because you never know where it'll end up. -
Do game reviewers need to play 100% of the game?
killamch89 replied to Kane99's topic in Gaming Forum
Honesty and an unbiased review and I'm set. I just like them to go into details about the most important aspects of the game so that I can form a proper conclusion. For me, I tend to watch multiple reviews about an item/product and I look at what they say about it and cross reference they information they are providing. -
Having to eat/sleep/etc. in video games: love it or loathe it?
killamch89 replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
It depends on the game really but I tend to like a more light system that isn't super punishing for failing to feed your character etc. An overbearing system makes it feel like your playing the Sims and instead of enjoying the game, you spend most of your time trying to keep your character in optimal shape. -
It depends on the occasion. For instance, when all your followers in Skyrim get killed in a Dragon Battle (mind you, my game is modded and the Dragons in my game are OP as the Elder Scrolls Lore) and there are multiple Dragons after you - I have no choice but to run. Sometimes I just run to the nearest city and use the townspeople and guards as a distraction (Dragonborn lives matter XD) and then I make my escape.

Big, empty areas to explore that drive you crazy

The Dragonborn DLC - It's name is Apocrypha and it's his Oblivion Plane. It's very lacking to say the least. Yeah, sure there are one or two neat touch but for the most part, it feels extremely empty. -
Do fanboys take things too seriously with gaming?
killamch89 replied to Kane99's topic in Gaming Forum
This Cyberpunk launch has been nothing short of a disaster. Let's take the puzzling performance of Ryzen chips for Cyberpunk 2077. Does anyone want to know the reason why? The answer is simple really, CD Projekt Red failed to update their optimizer for AMD and optimized it for Bulldozer CPUs! This moment will not be forgotten by many of us. -
Skyrim SE and Fallout 4

Do game reviewers need to play 100% of the game?

It wouldn't hurt though because it may make some of us want to try out some of those games as well. -
Good call! I totally forgot about that one well. If I remember correctly, the first game came out in October of 1995. Resident Evil 4 was an awesome game and the first to have the over the shoulder gameplay mechanic in terms of their crappy camera. At the time, the graphics was also great.

That makes sense. Then again most of my games are digital so I'll be alerted if I attempt to buy the same game twice.

Outer Worlds could be somewhat of a direct comparison. Dying Light is a bit more similar to 2077 barring the futuristic settings and zombies being the majority of your opponents. I don't remember much about System Shock and Alpha protocols so I'm not sure about those 2. I never really thought about Alien Isolation seeing as they're two different genres but I can see where you're coming from in terms of the futuristic setting.

With Covid restrictions in place and the use of online marketplaces have skyrocketed so it may come into effect far sooner. -
SNES Modded Cartridge Adds Ray-Tracing to the Retro Console

Yeah, I saw it on a weekly tech review episode on a YouTube channel. It's awesome they can do this and I can just imagine it for Top Gear. -
On Ebay I meant. I haven't seen them selling any in my area but I'm pretty sure it's overpriced....
-
We already past that stage but I'm just saying that pre-ordering stuff nowadays usually ends badly for the early adopter. Check Cyberpunk 2077 as the latest in a long line of screwups during launches. I thank EA for giving me such a harsh lesson because I'll never do it again!

$1000? try 1500. I would rather burn in hell than buy from a scalper. I'd just be adding to the problem if I did. Screw that. Sooner or later the government is going to step in and they'll be out of business as more people start complaining.

Has anyone been trying some outrageous recipes since quarantine or trying to increase their cooking skills? If so, what did you make or attempt to make? How did it turn out? As for me, I've been making a bunch of stuff such as coffee candy but mine are slightly "fresh" due to the fact that I didn't add enough sugar (I try my best to cut back on sugar because we already know the repercussions it can have on the body).
