  1. I mean it can be achieved with mods but not everyone has the time and patience to learn how to mod Skyrim.
  2. The first one also had pretty poor platforming as well which is why I don't quite understand why people even liked it in the first place.
  3. Final Fantasy has always been like that plus it is an rpg and most rpgs around that timeframe did the same exact thing so it is a bit more tolerable. On the other hand, when you have a somewhat fast-paced game like Alien Isolation with a far more simple storyline that doesn't need that much explaining, it really does grind my gears.
  4. It was always obvious it wouldn't be able to compete with Fortnite because the content they are releasing is very underwhelming to say the least and the it isn't done on a consistent basis either.
  5. Hype tends to lead to great opening sales for a game because there are gamers who will buy a game just to have bragging rights. If done correctly, hype can significantly boost a game's popularity but it has to stay within realistic realms of what the game offers or else you will end up with a watchdogs situation where so many people were so disappointed by the first game that they aren't will to buy any of the sequels.
  6. I'm not surprised to be honest because they have been doing a lot dumb things in recent years so this is just one of many.
  7. I dislike cutscenes very much especially when it doesn't really add anything in terms of useful information in-game. I typically like my cutscenes to have some information which will help with world building and on how to complete the current quest/objective. I also like when I have the option to skip them and I don't like them lasting longer than 2-4 mins.
  8. Alien Isolation's opening sequence is about 30 mins long and it is just a bunch of tutorials along with a bit of story which progresses very slowly in the beginning.
  9. Dirt Showdown and Deus Ex Human Revolution
  10. Do you have any idea when you developed this phobia and what in your environment usually triggers it?
  11. Or even funnier - running away and the person chasing you falls to their death...
  12. Dragonball Xenoverse 2 and Dragonball Fighter Z
  13. It was either last month or June if I remember correctly and it was a hideo kojima interview where he was asked about different things. Even though most of the answers about Death stranding were generic, he did make mention of the game being influnced by a few aspects of Japanese folklore but didn't go much further. I'm familiar with some aspects of Japanese folklore because of my ex gf but nothing in the trailer immediately reminded of anything my ex showed me. That's why I'm even more curious about the game.
  14. DareDevil is a good shout as well although I don't watch it as religiously as other series. I'm going to give Stranger things a watch because everyone keeps recommending it to me.
  15. And now EA are ruining the game by introducing some ridiculous paywall systems such as the iron box event.
  16. I usually just go do other things and a solution just comes to me in a random moment. I make sure to jot it down and then when I start playing said game I execute my strategy. Either that or I try some crazy outlandish thing that nobody else wouldn't and I end up finding the answer sometimes.
  17. I got back my dog from the Vet on Thursday and his overzealousness cause him to try to jump into my arms and I twisted my ankle because he is a very big and heavy dog so I'm just chilling at home.
  18. Mad Scientists are common enemies in video games and usually they are the cause of the outbreak/crisis by messing with something that they fail to contain and it goes out of control/berserk.
