  1. Nice. As for me, it's Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow - it's hands down the best handheld Castlevania game ever made. In terms of story and overall gameplay, none of the others can come close except maybe Portrait of Ruin for the DS.
  2. I agree. It'd be a fantastic experience for me especially when I have to throw the Pokeball. Or maybe flying on the back of a Pokemon.
  3. Sounds like a good one to follow. If I'm being totally honest, I don't really follow any.
  4. Honestly, for the handhelds, I love the portability but nothing beats the console experience of a Mario title especially when sitting in front of a TV.
  5. Well they just announced it on Wednesday. However, we'll have the Nintendo Direct in April to tell us more about the device.
  6. Journey and Firewatch are very good shouts. I've always like Journey's way of showing and not telling.
  7. Yeah. Making the player's choices have significant consequences ups the stakes in these games making players carefully consider every choice.
  8. Or even better - permanent perks. Ones that can add unique traits to your character which enables your build to be far more unique.
  9. I totally agree. None of this nonsense needing day one patches just to get their game to function.
  10. I mean, permanent bans won't do much if said player has a VPN and can change up their systems configuration. They'll just create another account and continue with their nonsense.
  11. While AI-generated content can speed up production, it might also lead to games feeling more generic if developers over-rely on it. Human creativity and unique vision are still critical for crafting memorable experiences that resonate with players on a deeper level.
  12. I completely agree that games can have a powerful role in portraying mental health realistically. Games like Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice have done a great job by consulting with mental health professionals to ensure accurate representation. Do you think collaboration with experts is key to getting it right?
  13. Preserving classic games might require embracing emulation and open-source projects. Organizations like the Internet Archive and fan communities are doing incredible work in this space. But I also think physical preservation is just as important. Libraries or museums dedicated to gaming history could archive hardware and games.
  14. It's more out of a lack of choice if anything because if they try to make those two series PC only, the PC players may side with the others and decide to stop playing those games altogether.
  15. I think Bioshock. I've been meaning to give it a go but I've never gotten around to it but this year, I'm going to finally play it.
  16. I’m always on the lookout for new series, and I’d love to hear what’s been keeping you glued to your screen or pages! Whether it’s a recent release or something you just discovered, what anime or manga has totally pulled you in? What makes it stand out? Characters, plot, art style, or maybe just the vibe?
  17. For the first time in ages, I actually touched Sims 4. Don't ask me what the motivation was but I played it for like 3 hours today - in the end I got tired of some of my fellow tenant's nagging so I trapped them in the house and burnt it to the ground.
  18. Centipede is often remembered as a standout title from the golden age of arcade games. What do you think makes it unique compared to other games of its time? Is it the fast-paced action, the distinct use of a trackball, or its strategic elements? How does it differ from classic shooters like Space Invaders or Galaga, and why do you think it has remained a memorable experience in the arcade gaming world?
