Any unmarked quests you particularly liked in Skyrim, Fallout, etc?

I don't quite remember the name of this one...I think it was called Forbidden Legend or something like that where you find a book on some dead guy's corpse somewhere near Markarth. I think the book was called Lost Legends and then you are supposed to head to some Nordic Tomb near Solitude. I liked it because after I managed to find that dungeon and finish it, I realized it was a hidden quest 🤣

It was a lot of years back in the time, 8 if I remember right. The first video games that I felt in love with were Counter Strike 1.6 and Minecraft. At the time they were my favourite ones and I didn't play that much other games basically.

I used to play Doom, Max Payne, and Counterstrike on the PC back in the days but I wasn't that interested in it at the time.

I'm almost sure that you can get better at shooting only by practicing. In CS:GO the more you play, the better you get. But there you can also change the crosshair which can give you some advantage.

And adjust the sensitivity of the thumbsticks to suit his reaction time.

I can't seem to find anything on Google about a PlayStation Mini. Whenever I search that term on Google, all I'm getting results for is the PlayStation Classic. Some sites are using the term mini in those products as well - "PlayStation Classic Mini" but it's essentially the same product. Could you share the link you were checking out?

It is the same thing lol. Sorry, I can't remember where I was reading it exactly but they kept calling it Playstation Mini...

Yeah the idea of renting games is almost becoming obsolete with streaming services like PS Now offering you to try out games for a limited time.

From what I remember, that has been around since the PS3 days if I'm not mistaken.

I mean, you don't need to, you can check this video I made showcasing SH3's abilities.

The game can be played 1080p 60FPS without any issue.

Max Payne had amazing graphics and that was also in the early 2000s.

Grand Theft Auto 4. Whilst GTA 5 was good, I just loved the story and the multiplayer experience with GTA 4. Unfortunately for me, GTA 5 had a good story but the online experience was ruined by the later additions and them trying to force microtransactions into the game. The online just isn't enjoyable anymore for games that don't want to spend any money.

I agree completely. Micro-transactions have ruined the online gaming community and I am glad that countries are trying to place regulations on the micro-transaction system. I normally don't support any type of governmental interference in gaming issues but this is much appreciated.

What arcade-like games did people  (on here) enjoy on consoles while growing up?

It's highly unlikely that anyone did - as they'd have to be in their 50s.   Well, maybe not.  There are probably, even today, some arcade games in malls etc.

Yes, there are still arcades in malls and you do have adults who go to them. I only carried my nephew there last year for his birthday but I guess I have outgrown arcade gaming although I'd like to try the ones in Japan...

Yeah, I can see the 2nd going on with kids of over-protective or over-parenting parents. However, the 1st doesn't exist - as I think generally kids would grow up good - if simply the environment didn't mess them up.

Actually, I know quite a few individuals like that when I was growing although they are no longer living because their actions caught up with them.

Which is funny to me seeing as I grew up as a PC gamer and PC was always way ahead of consoles in terms of graphics back in those days. Even more so than today, I'm talking looking a generation or two better than consoles of the time.

Yeah, it has always been that way although the gap has narrowed somewhat but still can't match the most powerful of gaming desktop builds even 5 years back.

You guys should see the Silent Hill 3 PC port. It was one of the most advanced PC ports of all time despite being released in the early 2000's

    I'll check it out.

PC gaming might be daunting for some people but it's definitely more popular than ever.

Yeah. Back in the days, PC gaming was way behind console gaming like in the 90s and early 2000s. It wasn't until 2010 onwards we started to see a drastic growth in PC gamers.

I don't think that the sole purpose of renting a game is to finish it. I have rented a couple of games to see whether I like them or not (Believe it or not I first rented Skyrim and then purchased it). It is like an extended demo for me. But I agree, 95% of my games are bought from the start.

    Fair enough point.
