  1. Most of the friends that I game with aren't really into Armored Core or other mech games for that matter. Most of them aren't fans of horror games as well which sucks.
  2. I used to buy them all the time when I was younger. Some of them used to have Demo CDs in them and lots of tips and tricks for games you were interested in. I haven't bought a gaming magazine in more than a decade.
  3. You have a very valid point. It's gotten to a point that I'm surprised when a game released by a triple A gaming company is actually decent and functional. Sony is going down this very road as well. Most major developers care ONLY about money. They don't care how many bridges they'll burn with their fanbase and when it doesn't work out, they wonder what they did wrong. BTW it was Activision that got acquired by Microsoft but they're both in the same category.
  4. I'm going to wait until it's released but I'm also excited for this. I remembered the original Battlefront games on PS2 - I loved them and the fact that I'll get to replay these games again brings back great memories. I just hope EA doesn't screw this up somehow.
  5. I love both games for different reasons so saying which one is better would be doing a disservice to two very fantastic games in their own right.
  6. I hadn't finished Cold fear but it was a very underrated and under-appreciated horror game. You're taking me down memory lane. What really terrified me was the dinosaurs relentlessly chasing you down through so many areas.
  7. This is a tough one to answer as I love all the games apart from Metal Gear Survive (I swear this game is just like a curse word). If I had to choose, it'd be Metal Gear Solid on the original PS1 due to nostalgia and also the story and characters. Metal Gear 3 Snake Eater is a very close second because of the story and characters as well. Not to mention, it introduced some very innovative mechanics to the Metal Gear franchise.
  8. I agree - games do take up a lot of time nowadays and with open-world games, there tends to be so much to do. It's even worse if the developer constant publishes new content for said world.
  9. I totally agree with you here - Everything is going digital and companies can at any moment end a game and you'll no longer have access to it because the servers have been shut down.
  10. Gran Turismo is what got me interested in car racing and modifying cars. Even though I haven't gotten a project car to actually build a track ready car, I hope to in the near future.
  11. Palworld is quite an addictive game if you're not careful. Me and a couple of my friends are all at level 50 at the moment - it's a lot more fun playing with friends. The big difference between it and Pokemon is the fact that the Pals actually have uses outside of battle such as helping you do stuff around the base.
  12. I've never owned a Sega CD either - Wait? It came out in the early 90's? Where was I when this came out? I had the Sega Genesis and Saturn at the time. Then again, I don't think many people knew about it either.
  13. I swear that I'm more eager to play indie developed games than games from triple A companies because they're actually putting a lot of effort into their games. Most of the bigger developers are hopping on this Live Service train and I despise it.
  14. Same here - Good luck to all who are eligible.
  15. Honestly, I'm not sure - I mean, I'm liking Helldivers 2 and Palworld but these weren't really on my anticipated games and the ones I was looking forward to like Suicide Squad are all garbage. The only one I can think of off the top of my head is the new Elden Ring DLC.
  16. I used to love Ubisoft as well until in recent years when they've started to make all kinds of idiotic decisions and consistently trying to drive away us gamers.
  17. Agreed - It'd probably be on something way more pointless like Starbucks coffee, for instance. I know of quite a bit of people that spend close to a $100 US a month at Starbucks when they could just make coffee at home.
  18. Not at all - I either found things out myself or there was always the internet. Sites like Gamefaqs were always around so you could find most of the tips and tricks there.
  19. Skyrim - I've been playing it since it came out and I'm still playing it to this day. I don't think any game I've played previously has had this much longevity in my gaming roster.
  20. I actually have my own custom email address that I have with Migadu. It's like $19 a year which makes it a really good deal.
  21. Same - I thought that cinemas was going to be a thing of the past with Covid around but they've recovered quite well considering how crap most of the movies coming out have been.
  22. I'm not sure where to begin with this one - there were so many TV shows that I loved. For instance, I used to love the following back in the day: Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air Jamie Foxx Show F.R.I.E.N.D.S Tales From The Crypt Everybody Hates Chris
