  1. I've only ever played some of the Sid Meier Civilization games so that's what I'd choose by default. My personal favorite has to be the AOE series as it is still the golden standard for city building games.
  2. My answer is no. Keep politics out of videogames - most people play videogames to "escape" from the real world. Why on Earth would anybody want politics in a video game is beyond me. There are so many platforms for politics already. We don't need them taking something fun and ruining it with their crap that benefits a few people at the cost of the majority.
  3. Most Triple A games nowadays are packed with microtransactions and advertisements. They barely put any effort into it and put most basic features behind a paywall and when a game tanks, they wonder why. Stupid really. I'm not even trying to rationalize where it went wrong. Square Enix makes pretty good RPGs so we know they can put out quality content. It's just that they more than likely thought that Marvel fans would be gullible enough to buy this crap. Due to the fact that most superhero games have flopped since their appearance in the gaming industry, most fans would be highly skeptical of it. So Square Enix needed to put way more effort into the game to appeal to Marvel fans as well as gamers in general. However, they went the cash grabbing route and have made massive losses because of it and they rightfully deserve that.
  4. Dying light is a very good game and has hours of content long after finishing the main story.
  5. Deus EX Human Revolution has one of the best conspiracies I've ever encountered in a video game. When I completed the story, I was legitimately amazed at what the whole plot was. The thing that draws you into the experience is how much the plot mirrors real life. I mean, prejudice and racism is something a good number of us encounter every day.
  6. Total understandable because you signed a contract upon entering the marines. I used to work as Customs Officer so I'm aware something like this exist. I still have a bit of PTSD from my time working there and I never necessarily went to war.
  7. You know what annoys me? The fact that in some MMORPGs, they gender lock classes. I like playing as a male character since that's my gender. In addition to being unable to fully customize characters nowadays, we have to play a certain gender in classes. I sincerely hope this trend is reversed soon.
  8. I'd say the PS1 with Nintendo 64 and Sega Dreamcast were a memorable one for me. So many great games and where rivalries were developed. 007 Bond, Mario Go-kart 64 and Super Smash Brothers made the best multiplayer games for me and my friends. For the PS1, there was Gran Turismo, Armored Core, Twisted Metal, Mortal Kombat 3 among others. For the Dreamcast, there was Crazy Taxi, Sonic among others...Good times...
  9. Steam needs to fully develop theirs. I mean, it feels a bit "basic" to say the least...
  10. I wish EA would do something like this so I could give them a piece of my mind XD.
  11. Mine has a V-shaped desk with a 1440p monitor(from my previous gaming rig setup with my gaming desktop), a couple of Logitech speakers, a controller stand of my Xbox one controller and my computer chair on one end of the desk. On the other side of the desk, is where I keep my gaming laptop.
  12. The only gripe I had with this version of Alucard is that he never really wanted to fight Dracula directly but his abilities in SOTN were awesome. As a matter of fact, SOTN is the Castlevania game that really got me hooked to this series although I had played a few of the prior titles on the SNES.
  13. I do quite like the original Dying Light especially the parkour mechanics(To this day, it's one of the few first person games I've seen incorporate it so well). The story is pretty solid and overall a very fun but somewhat scary experience. I am in total agreement that it doesn't get nearly the amount of recognition it truly deserves but many people have been awaiting the second game (myself included). My only fear is that should it be released around the same time as Cyberpunk, it may get overshadowed again( by another CDPR title at that).
  14. Square Enix made 3m in sales while the game cost them 63m to produce. They probably should have put more effort into producing a better experience instead of a straight up moneygrab. I'd like to hear your thoughts on this.
  15. Oddly enough, I either play Rocket League or Fallout 4. I know, due to the nature of both games, they should really make you tense but I'm far more tense when playing Skyrim and multiple dragons attacking me at once. In Fallout, I can spend time working on my settlements for instance.
  16. When I was younger, I had a whole book shelf dedicated to my game collection.
  17. I know right! A man can dream can't he?
  18. To be honest, I have a pretty large budget for snacks because I am quite a glutton(I have a high metabolic rate so I hardly put on any weight). I can't tell you the amount of times I've gone grocery shopping and said this food should last a month and it's done in like 10 days.
