Heroic options are so boring -_-. Join the Darkside 😈 - slaughter the NPCs - all of them! Even your followers (I'm not going to lie, I have used my followers as test dummies for some of my spells, resurrect them and then rinse and repeat). Needless to say, my followers aren't very trusting of me...

I'll pick a recently released game - Days Gone. The game is good, not mindblowing good but is a bit above average - it has quite a bit of bugs especially in close-quarter combat.

My pick would be the Mega Man Battle Network series as I was a fan of the Megaman anime that came out on Kids WB at the time where Megaman was a robot in a virtual world. His other half, Lan would control Megaman and give him different abilities via battle chips. It was a very unique system that ended up in many other Megaman games long after the Battle Network series was completed.

Exactly my point - the Touchpad on my laptop is sensitive and activates all kind of stuff when trying to game so I use my wireless mouse instead.

If given a chance, what would be your game like?
killamch89 replied to Aerielle del Rosario's topic in Video Games
If I had the opportunity and resources to create a game, I would make an open-world game with lots of war and chaos where the player must be vigilant at all times. I'd create a progression system so instead of just going up levels, your character gradually gains primary and secondary stats from battle - Wait a minute! that sounds like my Modded Skyrim game😂. -
What factors make you skip a quest or leave it incomplete?
killamch89 replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
Most times it is because of game-breaking bugs why I leave certain quests incomplete. Other reasons are the overall effect of a particular quest on the outcome of my playthrough - for instance, we have a side mission that takes up a lot of time but the rewards and quest completion are negligible, I won't complete it because it has no real relevance on my progress in-game. -
Also to note, there are comparison websites on the internet that shows the price of new games at different online retail stores.

I wouldn't mind getting a job in the gaming industry as a Game Tester but I'd want to work for companies like Capcom that makes quality games. I have applied to quite a reputable websites across the internet but I never got accepted.

I would like to see Kenpachi Zaraki as he is one of the main side characters and he is extremely popular. It would also be interesting to see how they would introduce his Shikai and Bankai but maybe they stick to the anime timeline Kenpachi which hasn't unlocked these abilities yet.

Darker themes give websites a more professional feel and it is easier on the eyes as others have mentioned. Lighter themes bug me for some reason and I've never known why especially on forums.

If you could spend a day in any video game location?
killamch89 replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
I personally would want to go fight some Dragons and Vampires myself but seeing as I probably wouldn't be a Dragonborn, I'd probably die pretty easily. I also wouldn't mind riding on a Dragon's back as well. -
Do you think games are too expensive nowadays?
killamch89 replied to Martin Berisford's topic in Gaming Forum
Yes, most games nowadays are so ridiculously expensive. Let's take for instance, Call Of Duty. The game itself costs $60, the DLC $50 and the microtransaction pay structures in place to get any worthwhile enjoyment out of the game is around $150 up. That is ridiculous! -
Exactly my point, If the game has any kind of flaw, it will be magnified and blown out of proportion because of the media hype surrounding the game.

What book universe would make a great game series?
killamch89 replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Video Games
When I was a kid, I always thought the Hardy Boys series would make a great video game - Something in the mystery/platformer/action genre. It could be something akin to the L.A. Noire video game released years ago where you search different places for clues before putting all the evidence together to find the culprit and their motive. -
Gaming is for everyone - the age doesn't matter. Hell, I'll be on my death bed in my old age and my dying wish would be to play a video game 😂 I do see some kids look at me funny when I tell them that at my current, I am still heavily invested in gaming(even though I don't play nearly as long).

Sonic looks like some kind of furry were-monster on 2 feet than a hedgehog.

Difficult to say because I started with the original Dark Souls on the PS3 but for me, Bloodborne was a tad easier to get into than the rest because I survived half the game without dying once - Its difficulty is comparable to older games but the learning curve doesn't feel quite as steep. The only thing I can say about Dark Souls is that you have to be prepared for anything. You can go from fighting a 7 headed Dragon to fighting mosquitos in a swamp to another completely random setting.

As a kid growing up, I had many devices such as the original Gameboy, Gameboy Color, GBA and PS Vita and I used to play them a lot. However, I have outgrown my love of handheld consoles for the most part (except the Nintendo Switch) because I have a Nintendo 3Ds sitting here at home and only took it out of the box to check if it still functions.

What video games feature the most amazing textures?
killamch89 replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Video Games
Not a very popular game by any means but the graphical quality of Anthem is undeniable - As a matter of fact, I think that is one of the few good things about the game. -
Another pick for a Remastered version would be GTA San Andreas because the gameplay and features were way ahead of its time.
-
It's pretty fun but it looks like a graphically better Borderlands 2 with a few more features.
-
You do have button-pressing sequences in those games but you also have the option to run around. Walking Dead's gameplay contains only button-pressing sequences and watching cutscenes which is very boring to me.

Games that pulled together after a shaky release?
killamch89 replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Video Games
The original Destiny was horrible when it was first released but with the release of the Taken King DLC, the game was pretty good after that. I can also think of FFXIV when it first launched, the reception was dreadful amongst many FF players - after its relaunch, it had been well received by the FF community. -
I also miss those days - most games released nowadays cost an arm and a leg to even get any enjoyment out of them. This micro-transaction thing really started to gain momentum as far back as 2011 with games like Dead Space and some MMORPGs.
