That's sad tp ear. Hopefully, you recover quickly - kidney issues are serious stuff. One of my aunts had renal failure last year and died because she never tried to seek help until it had gotten too advanced.

Ah - I see. I'll probably get it sometime next month when I'm going to get an extra monitor and some new gaming accessories.

Rashford and Garnacho who will leave Manchester United first?
killamch89 replied to Ja sa bong's topic in Sports
I'm not even a Man United fan but I agree, Rashford should be the first to leave. He's been so inconsistent throughout his time at Man United and should have been moved on years ago. He's one of the players that have cost several former United managers their jobs. -
Indie games have increasingly been exploring mental health themes, from anxiety and depression to more complex topics like PTSD and self-identity. These games can raise awareness and foster empathy, but they can also risk oversimplifying or misrepresenting serious conditions. How do you feel about indie games addressing mental health? Do you think they’re doing it justice, or is it a sensitive topic that requires more nuance? What are some examples you’ve enjoyed (or felt uncomfortable with)?

Toxic behavior in online games can ruin the experience for everyone, but do the current penalties go far enough? Some games issue temporary bans, but should we be doing more to curb this behavior? Would harsher punishments like permanent bans or stricter reporting systems help maintain a healthier community, or would it create more problems? What are your thoughts on striking the right balance between punishing toxic players and ensuring fairness for those who make mistakes?

A lot of games feature moral choices that can impact the world, but how deep should these consequences go? Should they be more intricately tied to the story, affecting the narrative on a larger scale, or is it enough for them to simply alter a few events or outcomes? How do you think deeper consequences could enhance the player's experience? Would it make the stakes feel higher, or risk overshadowing other gameplay aspects?

In today's gaming landscape, some studios focus on releasing games with minimal content, promising post-launch updates. Others aim to deliver a complete experience right from the start. What do you think? Should studios focus on offering better post-launch support (e.g., patches, DLCs, updates), or is it more important for them to provide a fully robust game at launch?

In the gaming industry, there's an ongoing debate about whether games should focus on appealing to a global audience or cater to local cultures and preferences. While global appeal can maximize reach and profits, is it at the cost of authenticity and cultural relevance? Should developers prioritize regional nuances, or should they aim for a universal experience? What do you think is more important for the future of gaming?

Man City are just too open defensively without Rodri so I knew they'd draw. Brentford are no scrubs.

I knew Liverpool wouldn't win this match. Nottingham Forest are a very tricky opposition to face especially in the league. They've taken quite a lot of points off of a lot of big teams this season.

Will Interplanetary Travel Become Common in Our Lifetime?
killamch89 replied to killamch89's topic in Technology & Gadgets
I know. We'd have to come up with a fuel source that can run infinitely. On top of that, spacecraft would need to be built out of material that can withstand any and all conditions in space which we're nowhere close to achieving in terms of finding such a material. -
Acer's new handheld: Acer Nitro Blaze announced at CES
killamch89 replied to killamch89's topic in PC
You should see the price - I'm hearing a thousand dollars or more. Definitely avoiding this one like the plague. On the other hand, I'm loving the new Legion Go S handhelds and there's two versions - one with SteamOS and one with Windows. -
Luigi has starred in some great games, from his own spooky adventures to supporting Mario. Whether it's the action-packed Luigi's Mansion series, the platforming in New Super Luigi U, or any other game featuring him, which one stands out the most to you? What do you love about it?

Castlevania has been a staple of Nintendo systems for years, spanning both consoles and handhelds. Whether you loved the classic platforming action of Super Castlevania IV on the SNES, the challenging Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow on the GBA, or something else entirely, I'd love to hear your favorite entry. What made it stand out to you, and do you have any standout memories from playing it?

I’ve been revisiting Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin on the DS and I’m wondering - did the gameplay mechanics stand out to you? The dual-character system and the use of the touch screen for special abilities were interesting, but I wonder how others felt about the controls and level design. Was it a fun evolution of the series or did it miss the mark for you?

Even with all the newer consoles and games out there, is there a classic Gameboy title that you still find yourself coming back to? Whether it's for the nostalgia or because it still holds up today, what's a game you can never put down, no matter how many years have passed?

There's so many great Gameboy games that often get overshadowed by the big names like Pokémon or The Legend of Zelda. What’s an underrated gem from the Gameboy library that you think doesn’t get enough recognition? Could be anything - hidden classics, quirky titles, or even obscure ones that flew under the radar.
