If you were good enough to game for a living, would you?
killamch89 replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
It's got more to do with my attention span - I literally cannot sit still for more than a few hours or else I start to get restless. -
Bioware is just a name currently as the original team responsible for the amazing Mass Effect and Dragon Age games have been either relocated or have moved on so it's just a shell of a company on life support.
-
I am also excited although my gaming laptop might not be able to run it since my gaming desktop's motherboard got fried last month 😞

When a game gains the reputation of a console destroyer(first I've heard of anything like this in my life), I am not going to touch it. It was a great concept but the execution is even poorer than Fallout 76 and that says a lot. I cannot understand why developers don't take the time to actually work on their game and fix all the game-breaking bugs BEFORE launch instead of this day one patch nonsense.

I played it at a friend's house a couple of months back and I've been too scared to try it again lol.

That's a hard one to answer to be honest. On one hand, I do love gaming a lot but sitting around doing one thing for extended periods of time per day is not my style - Well, not anymore. -
How do professional esport gamers make money?
killamch89 replied to skyfire's topic in Esports & Competitive Gaming
Sponsorship and Investors but some Esports players do streaming so they can earn from that as well. -
To be honest, I'd rather buy certain products from the manufacturer or a certified seller because both Ebay and Amazon have sellers who see fake merchandise. Unless, you know what the original looks like and is supposed to contain, I wouldn't consider buying most high-priced or reputable brands on Ebay or Amazon.

I have been dealing with my apartment being flooded after some heavy rains. After shoving my gaming laptop in some rice for almost 3 days, it is working again. There doesn't seem to be any long term damage to most of my stuff so I am grateful.

I had a funny incident the other day where I was playing 50 V 50 with some random players and we were talking over the mic. This teen said he fell lightly and scrapped his hand (barely) and he was afraid to touch anything with it. I said stop acting like a little girl and bantering him for a bit. Long story short, after I had finished the round, logged out and came back a couple hours. I realized I couldn't chat at all and then I realized I was chat banned. I hit up the support to find out why I got chat-banned and they basically said that I was offending players. Seriously, why is everyone so sensitive? Game chats back in the days (COD MW2 and BO1 on the Xbox and many more) were filled with racial slurs, threats, anything you could think of, yet nobody took it personally. It seriously concerns me that the younger generation is so "soft".

I'm not sure what's the issue. I grew up in an insensitive time when none of this stuff really mattered - Nowadays, everything is offensive. I got chat banned for a couple hours on Fortnite because I told a teen to stop acting like a little girl. I swear this generation would never survive Black Ops 1 and Modern Warfare 2 Xbox lobbies.

How much time do you spend on your character's looks?
killamch89 replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
lol. Funny enough, I will spend up to half a day trying to let my character resemble myself as much as possible. -
I have stayed awake for 2 days already but that was in my younger days when I used to go to parties and come home the next day. Nowadays, I like to get my 8 hours of sleep - possibly 9 but I love my rest.
-
I have done it during my school days - I can't really remember why other than I wanted to skip school.
-
I love going outside too - I don't see what the issue is.
-
I agree with your point. As for me, I'd probably spend all my time trolling all over social media instead of in video games. 🤣 There's nothing like catching a fellow player off-guard.

Of course it will be released on next-gen consoles and it makes sense to. The current consoles are very lacking in graphical power and the next GTA will be way bigger than the current one and have way more features so they will need way more juice for that. I can see a 2021 release for consoles (I think the next-gen consoles will be launched around this time.) with a 2022 release for us PC players. I just hope they don't turn the next GTA online into Saints Row ffs.

Has happened to me before even though I entered the correct address information so other factors can delay a shipment.

Nowadays, not that much. I sold my Lords Mobile account and that was one of the few mobile games I played.

Let's start Discussing About Ethics in Gaming Journalism
killamch89 replied to UleTheVee's topic in Gaming News
It's true the media is full of blatant propaganda and bias nowadays. To find the truth, you have to do tonnes of research and reading between the lines. Media was and is used as a means to manipulate the masses - especially the bigger media companies. -
In the case of Skyrim, you do have to use cheat codes from time to time to overcome game-breaking bugs so in this case, I approve of using such cheat codes. Under normal circumstances, however, no I don't because I like the feeling of seeing my character progress and turn into an absolute monster.

Final Fantasy has some of the best character driven stories I have ever played and Metal Gear is another one with so many interesting characters with amazing backstories - it's hard not to love it.
