  1. I have never had a strike even though I just started my Youtube channel but I have seen people receive strikes for ridiculous things such as a thumbnail which didn't even necessary violate their terms of service.
  2. I'd live in the Grand Theft Auto world as well where I can kill millions of people and law enforcement won't be breathing down my neck immediately.
  3. There are plenty of websites that will sell you copyright-free music for a monthly subscription fee and the creative commons 0 license which means it can be used for any and everything without attribution.
  4. He asked about gaming stuff Alyxx -_-. What category of gaming stuff does apartments fall under? 🤣
  5. They are indeed useful in getting past certain obstacles as well as reinforcing certain aspects of the game you already knew.
  6. I completely agree. I always use Paypal and I have both a US one which is my shopping/personal one and a business Paypal account.
  7. I have a lifetime subscription of a software called Adguard which blocks all ads - even on mobile phones if you have Adguard installed on your phone. It was worth the $30 dollars that I paid last year for it.

    Building a PC

I told him the same thing in another post - Pcpartpicker is the place to go but it also helps to review the suggested build on forums like linustechtipsforum to get some valuable answers about the build.

    PC Warranty

I have used a warranty only once when I received a PC with a faulty motherboard when I much younger. Warranties are really useful but you need to read it carefully to fully understand what circumstances does the warranty apply and what can void it. I see you mentioned that the warranty renewal will be 15 dollars a month for 3 years which comes up to 540 while repairing it is 160 + labour and parts which I suspect would be around 300 dollars. I find it odd that typing too much on a laptop keyboard would do that because I also type a lot on my Acer Gaming laptop as well and I have never encountered such an issue. As @skyfire mentioned, keyboards especially on laptops are designed to take a pounding so they should repair your laptop no questions asked because that is a faulty laptop keyboard because no laptop keyboard I know is supposed to break from something like that.
  10. AMD has already caught up to Intel since the release of the Zen Processors last year and the processors coming out in July-August will completely blow Intel out of the water because they will be WAY more powerful than the previous Zen chips.
  11. Linux has nowhere near the same level of integration and features as Windows and isn't a stable gaming platform. As @UleTheVee mentioned Linux shines at programming and nothing else. Until the developers can get their platform to rival the functionality and integration of Windows and to an extent a Mac, then Windows will always be the go-to choice for PC gaming.
  12. That is a very valid lesson actually because a lot of times, you really are your own worst enemy. When you need to get something done but you feel too lazy to do it and you literally have to fight yourself to get it done. Or when you are doing something challenging and you suddenly start to doubt yourself which stops you from doing your best.
  13. I used to do that in high school where I would be gaming for 8 to 10 hours and be late for school the next day but nowadays, I set a time limit of 3 hours maximum and I don't go beyond that. Otherwise, I won't get anything done.
  14. How comes nobody has mentioned Kratos - The God Of War? The guy can flip a freaking temple among other amazing strength feats as well as slaughtering anything in his way.
  15. I currently have a GTX 1080 TI 11gb along with an I7 processor that crushes most games except the Witcher 3 (for obvious reasons.). I am planning to go all AMD this year though so I will either buy a Radeon VII or the new Navi GPUs coming out in July along with the new line of Zen processors coming out in July-August.
  16. Put a spoiler warning before your comment because I am interested to hear about this character since I have never really played Bioshock Infinite.
  17. Same here. Clipgrab is such an essential tool to have. I also use it to download tutorials on software I regularly use such as Microsoft Powerpoint, Camtasia, Canva and Videoscribe among others. It saves me a lot of time from having to constantly search for the same video and with how Youtube have been deleting channels left, right and center, It is definitely a lifesaver.
  18. I have a 32" Quad HD Benq Gaming Monitor with 120hz refresh rate and 1ms response time. It cost me about $200 dollars but it was a worthwhile investment because watching content and playing games on it is a very eye-catching experience.
  19. The issue I have with IGN at times though is that they tend to show bias towards some entities and I just want the raw facts.
  20. Microsoft security defender isn't really half bad and it is free so you can use that but my personal preference is Bitdefender. It covers everything from malware to phishing software - nothing can escape detection and it only costs me $44.99 a year for the service.
  21. A bit of music always helps to relax you and keeps me from being distracted by most things around me. As an animator, being relaxed is a very important state because that is when the creativity flows.
  22. I agree that prevention is better than cure but I feel like if I went every month, I would be wasting the doctor's time.
  23. Amazon prime shipping is really quick though! I bought a blue yeti microphone last week Monday and by Tuesday it had already reached my US shipper.
  24. I would suggest you check out the feedback on the seller before purchasing any products from them and always ask for pictures and videos of the actual item to validate that the item is functional/as described. All it takes is due diligence and you will be alright - I have yet to be scammed or receive a defective item and I have been shopping on eBay and Amazon for about 8 years.
