Looks like a whole box of diabetes but I'd get it too!

My 2025 gaming plan is to finally finish a game before buying three more. Wish me luck - my backlog is so long it has a backlog.

Game genres you played as a kid, but don’t as an adult?
killamch89 replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
I used to play lots of sports games like NBA Live, Madden Fifa and PGA Tour but as an adult, I don't play any of these games anymore. And I don't think I'll be touching any of them for the foreseeable future either. -
Games where staying neutral can have a good payoff?
killamch89 replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
One game that comes to mind is The Witcher 3. Geralt often takes a 'neutral' stance in conflicts, aiming to avoid political entanglements. While it’s not always labeled as a 'neutral path,' focusing on the personal consequences of your actions rather than taking sides can lead to satisfying outcomes. It feels rewarding because Geralt’s character is more about moral ambiguity than blind allegiance. -

Started modding Kingdom Come: Deliverance the other day and I must say that it's a fantastic game. Also, Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is supposed to be out or coming out within a few days so I'm looking forward to that as well.

Same to you, mate and Happy 2025 everybody. Let's hope that our alien overlords don't turn up this year.

I always love hearing about the unique bonds people share with their pets. Whether it's hiking with your dog, snuggling with your cat while watching a movie, or teaching your parrot a new trick, tell me about your favorite activity. What’s something you and your pet both enjoy? Any fun or quirky routines that make your time together special?

I recently tried stacking a bunch of sandwiches on top of each other for fun, and it turned out to be a surprisingly satisfying meal. I’m talking about layers of different fillings like sliced turkey, cheese, veggies, and sauces, all piled up. It’s a bit messy, but totally worth it. Have any of you tried making stacked sandwiches before? What’s your favorite combination, or do you have any tips to make it even better?

Pets often have their own way of showing affection, and sometimes that means bringing us "gifts." Whether it’s a random item from around the house, a prized possession, or even something they've hunted outside, these little offerings can be both hilarious and endearing. What’s the strangest or most thoughtful "gift" your pet has ever brought you?

Has there ever been a moment when you and your pet had the exact same reaction to something happening around you? Whether it was excitement, surprise, or even fear, it's fascinating how pets can mirror our emotions or experiences. Share your stories where you and your furry friend were totally in sync. How did your pet react? Was it surprising or hilarious to see?

I’ve noticed some quirky behavior from my pets, and I’m curious if anyone else has some strange habits they’ve witnessed. Whether it's your dog barking at its own reflection, your cat only drinking from a running faucet, or a hamster hoarding food in the most random places, what’s the weirdest thing your pet does that never fails to make you laugh or wonder "Why?"

Starfox has such a unique cast of characters, but Fox McCloud often takes the spotlight. If you could choose one Starfox character to get their own standalone game, who would it be and why? Whether it's Falco's cocky attitude, Peppy’s wisdom, or Slippy’s tech skills, there's potential for some interesting spin-offs. What kind of game would you want to see for them? Adventure, racing, or something totally different?

GameCube had a ton of great party games perfect for game nights! Whether it was competitive multiplayer or co-op fun, there were so many options. What was your favorite GameCube game to play with friends or family? Did you stick to classics like Super Smash Bros. Melee or Mario Kart: Double Dash, or did you have a hidden gem that stole the show?

The Nintendo 64 controller is often seen as bulky due to its many buttons, but was there a reason for all the extra inputs? Was it trying to accommodate new gameplay styles, or was there a specific game design purpose behind the unique layout? How did the button-heavy design impact game controls and player experience? Would the N64 controller have been better off with fewer buttons, or was it ahead of its time?

Luigi has starred in several games over the years, each with its own unique charm. From the spooky adventures of Luigi’s Mansion to the platforming fun of New Super Luigi U, there's something for everyone. Which one stands out to you as your favorite, and why? Is it the thrill of ghost hunting, the quirky gameplay, or perhaps the nostalgia of a classic title?
