What should kids learn in school to be ready for the "real world"?
killamch89 replied to killamch89's topic in General Chat
There are some very valid points here. School teaches you all kinds of useless information that has no real benefit to you in the real world and you'll soon forget most of it. -
Do You Prefer Home-Cooked Meals or Restaurant Food?
killamch89 replied to killamch89's topic in General Chat
Yep. Mine is barbecue chicken and mashed potatoes with a bit of vegetables to round it off. -
I don’t have one specific favorite, but I find myself drawn to art that tells a story, whether it’s a sculpture or a painting. I love pieces that make me pause and think about the narrative behind them.

Certain jobs require you take one though because of what you're being asked to do and they have to make sure you're the right person to do it.

I'm not sure why I didn't like it when I was younger either. I'd eat every other vegetable but the taste of broccoli just turned me off for some reason.

That's good. I'd keep it that way as well since it's a classic.

I keep my hair low so it's not all that noticeable.

Have you been on a cruise, or would you like to try one?

That's messed up. -
UEFN developer Future Trash raises $5m in seed funding
killamch89 replied to Cpvr's topic in Gaming News
This is a huge milestone for Future Trash. UEFN's potential for indie developers is pretty amazing, especially considering how quickly FOAD gained traction. It's impressive to see a game reach 20 million players in such a short time plus 15 new games on the horizon? That's ambitious. -
That's such a cool take on how physical media could've evolved. A multi-disc console would have really made those disc-swap-heavy RPGs so much smoother. And SatellaView is something I wish had expanded, especially with how convenient and flexible it seems compared to modern digital distribution. The ability to have a physical copy created on demand would satisfy both collectors and convenience-seekers today.

What are good examples of deep but not complex strategy games?
killamch89 replied to Heatman's topic in Gaming Forum
Have you tried Into the Breach? It’s a turn-based strategy game that’s pretty straightforward but still offers a lot of depth in terms of decision-making. Plus, it’s perfect for playing on the go. -
Hmmm - I mean it's not half bad but not very appealing to me.
-
Nope but it does look like a fun game to play casually. I also like the graphical details the development team chose to go with.

What’s the Best Co-op Game for a Gaming Night?
killamch89 replied to killamch89's topic in Gaming Forum
Rocket League is a good shout and it's a game I play casually from time to time. I could also give the Mario Party games a try as well. -
Well put. Also, it's only a game and it's meant to be fun so don't take it so seriously. Just enjoy the experience.

For me, it's Age Of Empires Franchise. It's addictively fun to build and upgrade your civilization to conquer others and form alliances.

Which game do you think will be game of the year 2024?
killamch89 replied to Ja sa bong's topic in Gaming Forum
I'd say Black Myth: Wukong just because it's a game that has a very good story, fun gameplay mechanics and is a game with some replayability. -
What's the big game you are expecting in 2024?
killamch89 replied to Ja sa bong's topic in Gaming Forum
I'm eagerly awaiting Dragon Ball Sparking Zero which is set to come out in October as I've been a huge fan of Dragon Ball and the games as well. It has everything and could potentially be the best anime game in gaming history if it delivers. -
I'm waiting until it's released because I've had very bad experiences with pre orders. I've also saved some money by waiting until certain games came out and seeing that they flopped so I didn't bother getting them.

Since I've gotten much older, I don't go past 12 am.

In the evening because I'm usually done with my work by the evening so I'll have more time to do it.
